Been a while since someone commissioned inked stuff! Learned that halftone brush is a bit too crude to my taste (or for such detailed image) so went with "ink wash" for "dramatic light".

Very unusual commission request. Had to do some research, "what is a good silhouette drawing". Apparently a genre of its own with very clear rules.

Typical, new style starting as something "quick" turns with time into detailed and polished. I am hopeless.

Something different this time. A bit of digital detox as I am trying to tackle traditional watercolours again. These are workshop works, so I cannot take credits for fantastic composition or how the subject is translated to watercolours, but one should start somewhere, right? At least I somehow manage the flow of water and assume more and more control of this medium.

Decided to try to move one of my "watercolour" commissions (usually done in CSP from start to finish) to Rebelle, after I refine "pencily" lines and slap flats on different layers. Wow. I mean. No need for multiplys and overlayes, just pure pigment love and all that. Just need to remember to hit F key (fast dry) to prevent paint from spreading too much and learn more about brushes, but myyyy. Just drop of blue into red and here we go, all mixes naturally. I might keep CSP only for first phase. Still dont like Rebelle's pencils one bit.

Bump. Still slots left.
Quick "oil" paintings, anyone?
Let's try here. As I keep playing with Rebelle 7, I want to offer this kind of messy expressive "oil" portrait for a commission. Still can fit one "before Xmas" slot. For whole 35 euros, payment via Paypal. What's the catch? Well first, I have no idea what I am doing, this is rather new medium and brushes are thickkk. Second, I am trying to make things bright and interesting, so again, something experimental. But also I will be mostly deciding myself what look suits to the character. Of course, based on provided info. Request via dm here or Discord aerwindale. Any race, any setting, I have no limits here.

I did enjoy rendering metal, I did hate the details, though. Squeenix designs weird details that make no sense in some aspects, I simply cannot catch them, and yet, here we are.

Remembered I have Rebelle 7, decided to poke its oils. Not sure how I feel about all the canvas texture, need to look into more tutorials, but brushes feel okay and work well for me, and of course, colour mixing is great. Nothing like Photoshop's muddying. Anyway, the glorious model is my new Dunmer, Saloren Indoril. As I keep (re)exploring ESO, it dawned on me, that my love to Elder Scrolls world started with old goo Morrowind, but somehow I never managed to play a Dunmer in ESO. I suppose friends that are fans of Breton and Covenant did affected my character choices, and I am not fan of "stranger in the land" concept for RP, I love Dunmers too much to play them anywhere else but in Morrowind. Anyway, he is a stuck up Ordinator of Doctrine, and I am going to enjoy this.

I was gifted Rebelle 7 pro. I dreamed about this software for some years. What can I say, Rebelle's watercolours are so realistic that I suck at them as much as I suck at real ones. Jokes aside, playing with water stuff is fun and watching colours blend is pure magic. If I wont be able incorporate it into my workflow, it will become meditative toy.
By the way, Rebelle 7/ 7 pro is still on mad 90% discount. Go grab it if you always dreamt of it but 180 euros was a bit too much.

Extremely important.
Attention Emperor fans!
https://www.nexusmods.com/baldursgate3/mods/13456/
I don't usually self-promote like this, but I've finally finished a mod to restore the original Wyrmway cutscene between Ansur and The Emperor.
I was inspired by @littlemonday 's excellent analysis of the patch 7 changes, which have completely butchered the cutscene. It took a frankly ridiculous amount of troubleshooting to get it working, but it's done and it's fixed! I hope y'all appreciate the developers' original vision with this mod.
Go forth and be tentacular! <3
