Link in profile. +++ About my work: Ætheric Rose Window is what happens when a fine artist decides to explore the decorative arts. I use both the digital medium and the medium of earth (via ceramic) to celebrate and honor the ancient and medieval cosmos and its symmetries, harmonies, polarities, sacred geometries, and most primarily, its Creator and Sustainer. Each design is crafted digitally then printed onto ceramic tile. This process is a fusion of the four classical elements—earth, water, air, and fire—and their modern scientific analogues as the four common states of matter—solid, liquid, gas, and plasma. I craft the design on a computer screen (the electrical current not quite being plasma, but a close analogue to fire). The design is then sent electronically to the tile manufacturer who then uses a fluid ink to fuse the design to fire-hardened earth (clay), which is then dried through the medium of air.
