no really. you’re jimmy novak. you have a daughter, a job selling ad space, a visit to church every sunday. and very suddenly you turn into someone that hauls demons to their knees. you’re in constant pain. you’re not even human. you can’t even recognize what your hands do. at once, everything is the clearest and blurriest it’s ever been. and then you’re smited but you leave your body behind and it keeps on cycling. smites people in turn. you’re dead but there’s something left of your actions.
and at first it’s confused (the angel who took your life) but at some point it finds a son and cas loves him dearly and your arms are used to hug a kid again
#this is one of the many reasons why the idea of jimmy being closeted makes me start FULLY gnawing at the bars of my enclosure#cause it's like.. you're gay but you're not because it's just a thorn in the flesh and something to overcome and so you do#and you get married and you have a daughter and a good job and you're probably a fucking deacon or whatever#but it's still there and you KNOW it's there and you're on your knees ever night praying for god to take it away#because you want so badly to be free of sin and then. and THEN.#an Angel Of The Lord appears to you and says ''do not be afraid for i bring you good tidings of great joy''#and you're like ''okay. finally. finally i can be holy''#and then instead of anything good or gentle it's just neverending violence and betrayal#and maybe all the things you believe (you know the things you tore yourself apart over?) were just a lie#and also the angel is gay. hm.
