event 1: the coronation

“this ain’t happening. not in my city. not this night.”

hope mikaelson has waited long enough.  waited for the straggler wolves to find their way back into the pack. waited for the witches to end their idiotic resistance and bend the knee. waited for vincent to take back the gift he inadvertently gave her in returning her father and mother to her side. none of it’s happened. so it’s time to move on.

the word goes out through the quarter, through the city: the queen takes her throne. the party will be massive, and everyone is invited - even the resistance. if they want the chance to mend fences and bury hatchets it’s offered, and should they decline hope will cheerfully bury those hatches in their backs instead. and at midnight she’ll consolidate her power for all time. an immortal tribrid running a mikaelson city, always and forever.

vincent, however, is not so ready to bow down. there is a deeper, darker source he can look to for help. unpredictable, yes - explosively so. but the options are slim and the time is short. this night will not end with hope mikaelson running his city.

welcome, everyone, to our first event! *insert flailing kermit gif here* for the next two weeks, all threads should be focused on the event and hope’s coronation (and tagged afd.event001), after which vincent’s plan will kick in and lead directly into our second event! we look forward to seeing your creativity and plotting, and as always if there are questions please feel free to ask any of us!
