Idea:

Instead of Hanako, Muja and Mida being romantic rivals, why not have them being deeply concerned about Taro considering every girl he’s ever met has either died, strayed away from him, or are busy with someone else. Hanako as a caring sister asking Taro what’s wrong and posing a threat by trying to convince him to transfer schools by the end of the week. Muja trying to help Taro’s wellbeing in the hospital (because having almost every person close to you dead’s gotta hurt) trying to get him to seek help, and Mida being a supportive teacher as well as his counselor. This would show how your actions affect the game - you’re not just getting people out of the way so senpai can notice you, you’re also actively hurting him as well as others.

consider the idea that if ayano decided to go true pacifist and befriend everyone, she’d gain the ability to truly love other people. unlock the option to confess to not only taro but also anyone else the player/ayano feels fond of (osana, amai, megami even) as a reward for playing with mercy and kindness

give yandere simulator at least one emotionally rewarding, content and complete ending

ok but like panty shots as a currency besides it being kinda icky (i personally wouldn’t mind an icky game mechanic if it were more creative and actually made sense), fall flat logically as a game mechanic anyway when you realize that there’s only so many girls in the school, info-chan is an information broker and would appreciate information much more anyway, and the fact that it’s probably easier to plant a bunch of bugs before school starts than to try to get panty shots in populated areas.

but to make it so you can’t plant bugs at the beginning of the 10 weeks and then reap the benefits for the whole game, you have to retrieve them every evening or they get discovered and removed. for every new bug found, more people get alerted that there is someone tracking the school and will be actively looking for the bugs, making it so you have to find new locations for them all the time. and if anyone sees you planting a bug, it’s guidance counselor time/massive reputation loss because people will think that you are info-chan!

Wouldn’t it be really cute if Ayano at the start of the game was really sad, quiet and awkward yet as she gradually begins to talk with other people and goes outside a lot more since her parents are in America, her confidence slowly builds up and she ends up being happier with a few good friends and lots of acquaintances? This would boost her confidence to confess to Taro and would increase her likelihood of getting accepted by him.

I’m all for Kizana as a non romantic rival, just like all the others should, but I think Kizana should be the one “I hate you bc misunderstanding” character. The one male in the club is sick on this day, and Kizana sees Taro, the closest guy around, and says “help me before I actually become your himedere,” and it might be a kiss scene or somethin idk. Because Ayano is a stalkerTM, she sees this and is like “bitch you didn’t”

Yanderes and Plausibility

I really don’t like how some of the elimination methods in Yandere Simulator are. It just sounds implausible that Ayano would be able to pull off stuff like lifting things that are heavier than she is or having so many athletic skills, and doing PE doesn’t quite cut it. People and Dev try to justify this by saying that yanderes are just that determined but actual yanderes do have a reason for the most part to pull off some of the stuff they do.
