Through the years, Kevin’s discomfort seemed to hold growing gravity to Riko’s attention. Kevin wasn’t sure if the mass of his own pain was proving impossible to resist falling into orbit around, or if Riko simply was a planet whose trajectory was doomed to crash against others. But then again, who else could he collide with? Until proper recruitment, they were the only bodies in their solar system. Kevin was good at wound dressing, though. At least, he’d have liked to think himself meticulous, his touch soft but clinical enough that smoothing fresh gauze over burst skin didn’t feel personal, which he suspected made it somewhat more bearable for Riko. He checked sprained tendons like he tested the flexibility of racket cords; inspected cuts with as much interest as he did a torn seam on a ball. Bodies, too, were a tool that required tending to if they were to remain useful.

thinkin bout how when i came out to one of my friends as ace, one of her first responses was "yeah but you'd have sex for your partner, right?"

which at the time filled me with dread. because i dont want to. but i agreed because i didn't want to seem like, selfish? i guess?

and i just think its really fuckin weird to say that to an ace person. i hate the idea that sex is an assumed part of every relationship, and to not have sex is like, witholding something important from your partner.

for me, if a partner cannot handle a relationship without sex, we are fundamentally incompatible. and i dont think thats selfish of me.

vamp kevin/riko from my mafia vampire au

usually, the moriyama pet vampires get fed from blood bags or pre-approved victims (people they want to get rid of). but sometimes, after kevin's been starved as punishment, riko lets kevin feed directly from him while he calls kevin all kinds of 'disgusting' and 'monster'. in riko's mind, this is a continuation of punishment and humiliation; a reminder to kevin that he's nothing but a hideous creature that needs to beg for riko's mercy to live. he doesn't ask himself why he would want to let a "disgusting monster" that close to his neck or why he holds so tightly onto kevin every time.
