My experience has been that pulpy mid-20th-century sword-and-sorcery ages incredibly well. Conan, Elric, Dying Earth, that whole vast metagenre. I love Revolutionary Girl Utena to death. I did when I first saw it in college, and I still do now. I will never stop being kind of obsessed with it. Everyone who knows me knows this. But I have to admit that it hasn't aged well.
