NAMOR.

         namor didn’t even bother to bat an eye at the sudden violent outburst, being all too familiar with them himself. hell, this is the guy who broke a conference table on a bad day — he could handle hot tempers. he possessed one of the worst.   ‘ you can hate yourself and say you are incompetent all you want after we are done. do you want to blindly assume what they will say to him and make him believe if we leave without a word? the x-men could arrive tomorrow or the next day, and that is plenty of time for someone to make this confused and panicked child believe that it is all his fault. ’

         some experienced psychologist or freud-enthusiast could probably link namor’s words to something he’s gone through, but he doesn’t care enough to shut up.

         ‘ leave if you wish, banner, but i still need answers from the boy — as well as he needs a decent conversation that does not look like a forced interrogation. and if you believe you are unsuited for this, i alone will have to do. ’

it’s not that he wanted to leave, but the fact he was bleeding all over the table and the files. he knew it was his fault for getting frustrated over nothing, but this child reminded him of himself. some genetic mistake the world has taken for granted. something the world isn’t sure of so it spewed it’s unadulterated hate at them.

mutants where all the same. if you were different the world grew to hate you, no matter how many times you’ve saved the world. bruce sighed, tearing off a bit of the bottom hem of his dress shirt so he could wrap his hand. and haphazardly clean up the little bit of blood that dripped onto the table.

“i’m not staying for you, i’m staying for the kid.” that was all he said before the armed guards brought in what looked like a twelve year old boy in a loose tank top and cargo shorts.

There was a light nod of his head, tail swishing behind him gently.

                       “I am alright. Things have been a bit …                           taxing lately. But we are all alright.                       Besides that, I am glad I am able to help                                          you with things.”

He’d smile then. He was glad he was able to help a slight bit, even      just being here.

“Taxing?” That worried him slightly, and he let out a sigh.

“You know you can call if things get out of hand. I’m sure I could find some excuse to teach at Xavier's school. I am after all one of you.” It was the best way for him to describe what he was and he who he tried to be.

       “As long as I can work alone, I’m sure there will be no mistakes.” This time, he decided to leave off as he remembered Stark’s involvement with his own incident.

“Multiple, actually.” A small smile quickly graced his lips, before disappearing just as quick as it appeared. A pink tongue darted out wetting his dry lips as he spoke again, “What should I call you? I’ve only heard them refer to you as Domino.”
