2 Minute Film Reflection
This term was definitely a hard one. But despite that and not being able to finish my film or to animate the way I wanted, I am glad that I managed to work on different things that are related to my experience as a director. Having time to think more about an idea was a good thing for my project. Being able to try some techniques like creating props for my film (even though it should have been 2D) made me wonder if I have chosen the right technique for this project. Even without materials from university and having most of the shops closed I managed to work with what I had. Because of some financial problems I had during the pandemic I was obliged to focus more on jobs and the financial aspect of my work rather than my film which was a big disadvantage. But I tried to find work that was related to my course. Mostly I worked as a Graphic Designer for multiple companies but I also managed to find an animation project. It was a great opportunity because I managed to practice my drawing and 2d animating skills which are strongly connected to my film. Obviously, if it wasn't for the virus, traveling back home with isolation, and all the problems my family encountered, I would have done more work but I am happy that I still found a way to create even when it was a tough time for me.

Grad Assist Reflection
Being a graduate assistant was one of the best projects we had this year at university. Especially because it was strongly related to our two-minute film. Besides seeing other directors on set and their method of work, for me, it was very relaxing because i was following the guidelines of another person than myself. Directing and animating your own film was stressful at times and working for other directors was helping me a lot. Seeing other artists with their struggles really made a difference in how much pressure I was putting on me. I was assigned to Naomi's project and Sofia's if I had enough time. Even though I had to work mostly on a single project I really wanted to help anyone that needed assistance. In the weeks before the lockdown, I've been working for Naomi, Sofia, and Stephen. I've been making props for most of the time but I also helped Naomi and Sofia on set. I have worked 27 hours in total but I am sure that many more hours were needed in order to contribute as much as I wished for every project. But unfortunately, after the lockdown, I couldn't help with sets or with lighting since this type of work had to be done in the studio and also face to face.

Trees props for my 2 minute film.
I managed to find some materials that i already had in my house and i couldn’t help myself so i started doing some props for my film. I made the structure out of wire, then i added 3 layers of latex and then i made some grass/leaf/soil texture out of sawdust.
