Okay I need to prove that old people with tats look badass. Here goes.

I served this lovely old lady today. She was studying my tattoos, intently. I did the thing I do when I have lovely old ladies staring at my tattoos – I spoke politely, with the softest voice, articulating my education and the fact that I am not the perceived “rough as guts” type that polite old ladies expect from someone with tattoos. She looked up at me and said; “You have more tattoos than me, but we both have the same ship.” – at this point, its safe to say I was a little confused. She unbuttoned her cardigan and revealed ink with more than fifty years of show-time. I lost my shit, and begged her to let me photograph her; as she was, right at that moment.
