Another fun fact: Other than red from the blood in it, the human heart is actually white.

The Talamasca had discovered, thanks to a doctor from Ontario that a vampire heart drained of blood remains tinted red, no matter how much one tries to clean it.

Reason?

The theory is that vampiric blood has something to do with it. Other than that, they aren't sure. Maybe it's magic related? Or preternatural predispositions of a vampire's body? Red bloodcells with a mutation? Random Other Thing? Who knows!

Not the Talamasca!

Fun fact: Giraffes barely need any sleep. They take 5-10 min naps through the day and can function perfectly on 30 minutes of snooze time a day.

See, it's not even that weird in nature 🙄
