I actually like Wandavision but have to 💯 agree with how Marvel treated shield. You’d think especially after Stan Lee made his cameo it would’ve been a bigger deal. As far as explaining how Coulson was alive in the movies...Tony could’ve easily mentioned something about it considering he did like Coulson smh

Without going into the merits of the quality of Wandavision, I hate how everything made by Marvel is hailed as something revolutionary and innovative when AoS for seven years has brought to the small screen an exciting story, well written, with characters that grow and change, with many internal and external citations, with an original and fun use of genres … in short, a well-made series that is never recognized by critics and also by the MCU fandom when it is much more part of it than other productions …. Why is it so difficult to recognize the quality of AoS?

Is Wandavision so revolutionary because it’s black and white (in part) or because it mentions classic sitcom TV? Okay, it may be fun but it doesn’t seem that innovative to me…

Already after a couple of 30-minute episodes Wandavision was incensed by audiences and critics … while AoS after 136 episodes still has to struggle and discuss whether or not it is part of the MCU ….

I felt like writing headcanons, and since I haven't gotten any asks, I thought I'd just choose a minor character for the @agentsofchallenges #we love them all challenge and write some.

Spell a character's name in my askbox and I'll tell you my headcanons...

Piper and Davis!

P: How do they handle money?

Piper is quite responsible when it comes to money, but from time to time, she can't help herself and buys the most ridiculous things just to annoy Davis.

I: On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do they love themselves?

She has her ups and downs, but she's generally happy with her life and herself, so it's usually an 8.

E: How are they with children?

Piper is a little awkward around children, but she gets along really well with Davis' son. Whenever they see each other, they team up on his dad.

R: What are their hands like?

For such small and thin hands, Piper's are surprisingly strong.

D: How they react to bring flirted with?

Davis never knows what to say or do when someone flirts with him, so he usually relies on Piper to get him out of awkward situations. However, once she does, she won't stop laughing at him.

A: What are/were this character's best subjects in school?

He was good at English and Literature.

V: What's the easiest way to annoy them?

Piper.

I: On a scale of 1 to 10, how much do they love themselves?

It used to be about a 7 or an 8, but since he became an LMD, his self esteem dampened a bit. However, with Piper's help, he is slowly learning to appreciate the perks that come with this, and he has accepted who he is now, it just took him some time.

S: How stealthy are they?

He's a secret agent, so he has to be very stealthy. He usually puts this skill to practice when pulling out pranks on Piper.

My favorite quality of Talbot’s is his mustache actually no that’s not right. The fact that he can seem serious but come up with some of the best most random lines in the show.

I ship him with May because he’s just dominant enough not to back down from her but smart enough to pick his fights. Plus that wife of his? She’s a house wife whose kid is in school all day but still doesn’t know how to cook? She was a Karen.

Worst characteristic...Gravitron! In my mind it never happened. He is safely at an Air Force base with May.

Favorite line too many to count but Jemma will always be associated with dayglo pink

Tips for Reading with ADHD

(or without ADHD, if they help regardless)

Physical print:

cover the page with a piece of paper and reveal lines/paragraphs as you read them

use a highlighter to emphasize important/interesting parts

take notes as you go to be physically engaged with the material

Digital media:

copy and paste the text into a doc/word processor

change the font size/style/colour to something more legible

make your own paragraphs and spacing

copy and paste one paragraph at a time to isolate them from the distraction of the rest of the text

install a browser extension like BeeLine Reader or Mercury Reader

zoom in on the page and scroll slowly so you’re revealing lines as you read them

physically cover the screen and reveal lines as you read them

if you do better with physical media, print it out or find a physical copy

Both:

read out loud

pace, move around, or use a fidget while reading

set a timer for 5 minutes and read in small chunks with breaks in between

divide the material into sections and read one section at a time with breaks in between

have another person, audio book, or text-to-speech program read it aloud as you follow along
