Freminet has many parallels with Arlecchino throughout all of her years. Like her he went against all that he knows and fought the Knave, they both were raised by the original Knave, both are associated with an animal, Arlecchino is seen as a stuffed rabbit while Freminet is a robot penguin, Arlecchino as a kid looks very similar to Freminet, they both have imagery of "x"s (For Freminet his hat and helmet), both were very shy and quiet but got close to someone that brought them happiness, Arlecchino doesn't/used to not see herself as a person/human like Freminet, they both are shown/implied to resort to violence pretty easily, how Arlecchino acts now "empty and uncaring" is how Freminet is trying to become. He is not safe from the cycle of the abused becomes the abuser and he will turn out just like her.

Honestly, they really didn't have to do all this

They could have just as easily had Yuki transform into his Rat form before calling a taxi to Shigure's house, Tohru holding onto him the entire way in case he would transform back.

But what did they decide to do? Tote him on Haru in his Cow form with Tohru's arms wrapped around Haru’s neck, so he wouldn't change back.

Yuki could’ve gotten much worse and spontaneously transformed in public, causing a scene with strangers. What they were actively trying to not do so they avoided the taxi.

It's so much sillier watching a cow walk down the streets instead of holding onto a rat in your hand, absolutely, but efficiency was not there that day
