He would have to remember all of this stuff. Thank the gods he had a good memory. The Chitauri rarely ever forget things, especially things that are important. Like this stuff apparently. Boy, humans were weird. "So, who will train with me now? Am I your newest recruit, ma'am?"
“A great many ways,” she nodded, “Like in the movies, holy water is very effective, but salt rings are protective, and mostly … if you behead something, it stays dead. You’ll learn more through training. Agent Sam Winchester will be here to help you go through all the research, the infomration, and i will help you with anything practical. Usually I would Have Agent Dean Winchester work with you in the training rooms … but he’s on leave.”

That was a new one. Just what did she mean by it though. How exactly was he inventive? He listened to her carefully though. So far, it seemed as if he was doing a good job at this whole agent thing. Hopefully, he kept that up.

He was nervous. Well, that was to be expected. The man had wafted through SHIELD without much notice, now he was sitting in front of a department head, not sure what was going on.
She cracked a small smile, nodding, “I’d like to offer you a position in my department. You’re quick, agile, and you follow orders wonderfully, but you have a knack for being … inventive,” she nodded again, “What do you know about my department?”

No one knew who he was. To most, that would be heart breaking. But for Maximus, that was perfectly fine. It made what he had to do much easier. Less likely to get caught. He'd just be a ghost of sorts.
But of course, there had to be a catch. He swallowed, still biting down on that lip. Just a nervous habit, even did back on his homeland. He nodded at her, giving her a slight smile. "And how do you plan on doing that, if I may ask...?"
… what an odd manner of speech he had. She shook her head, before shrugging. They had all sorts here.
“I suppose that’s true. It is our job to place you. I suppose field ops just enjoyed having someone to send on any old mission. No one to call ahead and ask about it. Lost you a bit in the shuffle. To be honest, I’m not sure if anyone here really knows who you are.”
She placed her hands down again, smiling, “I aim to change that.”

Crap, what did she know about him. What did SHIELD dig up about who he was. Was this the end of his mission. Was it time to greet death? Maybe not. He just had to calm himself. Bring it back together. He didn't want suspicion to be placed onto him already. That would just be pathetic.
He bit his bottom lip, trying to read her. Maybe this was something different. "I am not sure, ma'am. I guess I just do what I am told without thought. Maybe I just go where I am needed? I do not truly know how the departments work actually so I guess I am just waiting for a push in one's direction?"
“relatively, yes. Since you’ve more been on field ops than in the building. But … you have an impressive performance.” Penelope looked down at the dossier she had in her hand.
All his information, no family, recruited by SHIELD after the manhattan incident, excellent shot, stamina, ran through all the training very well. She set it down, and folded her hands on top of the folder, “But you haven’t really … fit in, now have you? Somewhat skating by, not assigned to nay department. Why is that do you think?”

Headcanon: 003
Going with some slight comic canons for the Chitauri.
Maximus can shapeshift into his actual Chitauri form, as the Chitauri are a shapeshifting race in comics. But that's something most would never see.
Also like the comic race, Maximus can gain information by eating the brains of humans. He will gain all knowledge known by that human in particular.
Other than that, Maximus' strength is enhanced, his reflexes are sharper, he has enhanced durability, and has the ability to rapidly regenerate cells.
