Connie, when I wrote Andrei, I knew accepting him held the potential of being a very difficult decision. He was a joy to write and all of his passion was so damn infectious. Not only did you manage to completely embody everything we could have dreamed for Andrei, but you gave us something extra. Choosing to capitalize on his fear of his ability was such a clever idea, and we think it worked really well! We’re more than happy to officially welcome you to the group. We can’t wait to see what else you have in store.

"He would … he would still be her friend, her Puppy, if she was one, but …" I'm not trying to be antagonistic, I'm just saying this feels very fetishistic to me. Very 'puppy play'.

Anon, I’m sorry but that sentence is taken out of context. In that thread, Nikolas was taking care of an injured character, who was amused by his name. He went along with it for the time being, and the pair exchanged jokes, but that by no means meant that calling himself a puppy was normal behavior for him. Nevertheless, Admin Lee agrees that he can be more conscientious in future interactions. If this is still an issue, please definitively say so, so that we can take immediate corrective measures.

Hi! It would be really great if Admin Lee could stop referring to his character as "pup" as that's very triggering to me with the whole bestiality thing and feels vaguely stereotypical of the faceclaim and character personality.

Hey there Anon, we’re very sorry that Nikolas’s nickname is causing you distress. The reason he goes by his nickname is because he is a runaway character and finds more security going by an alias than his true name. ‘Pup’ was a name given to him on the streets because of his love of stray dogs, and it is an integral part of his identity (all of this is in his bio). We want to make this clear at least: When Nikolas is referred to as ‘Pup’, it isn’t with malicious and especially not fetishizing intent; Nikolas’ character and faceclaim are both underage, so that idea would not be tolerated by us.  

Lee and I spoke at great lengths over the matter, and have concluded that we’d like to keep Nikolas’s nickname because of how important it is to his character. Please send us another message if this isn’t acceptable, and if that’s the case, we’ll retire Nikolas entirely.

Your character is standing before a mirror. Describe the creature that stares back at them. Do they like what they see? Do they fear it? Are their hands clean? Can you describe their attire?
