Agere Community, Can We Have A Word?

I've been noticing an issue recently of padded age regressors being thrown under the bus. It's important to make the distinction between people who regress differently to you and creeps we don't want in agere spaces. They are not the same thing.

I suppose what I'm saying here is that accusing regressors who need nappies of being ABDLs or DDLGs is a really nasty thing to do and only perpetrating stereotypes surrounding adults who need nappies for medical reasons. Just because an adult needs them doesn't mean it's a bedroom thing.

Please be kind to ALL disabled regressors, even those whose disabilities are stigmatised or misunderstood 💚

btw historically community blocklist accounts have never kept a community safe. they’ve only ever brought attention to people who should be ignored and harassment to innocent people. see an account you don’t like? block it. don’t put it on blast. don’t spread the account and content of someone you don’t want to see.

tumblr doesn’t function like other social media sites. where it might be common to see a blacklist on twitter, it’s not here. you are responsible for only your own online experience, and one person or account should not dictate who is allowed in certain spaces.

hi guyssss this is basically a post of some cute activities to do while you're regressed, but are health/beauty/hygiene related. sometimes when we're little, doing things like applying makeup isn't a good idea, because it could go in our mouths, or we could poke ourselves, etc.! this post is a list of things you can do to still fill that need while being safe. these activities can also help you regress 🫧🧼🐤🛁🌟🧽🐳🐠✨🪮

what is NEVER okay, no matter your big or little age⛔🚫👎 🚫starving yourself 🚫 engaging with diet culture in general 🚫comparing yourself and your eyes, hair, makeup, face, beauty, etc. to others 🚫 hurting yourself to look more beautiful 🚫not taking proper safety precautions (for example if you are clumsy without a cg, then make sure you have one around when handling hot tools!) 💗 your body, your face, your lack of hygiene, does not make you less of a regressor or less of a person. we all struggle and we are all beautiful in our own ways. i hope by taking care of yourself like this you can appreciate and show yourself some love!

→ where can i buy some of these things? ✨ you can get a lot of cheap makeup, hair accessories, and hairbrushes at the dollar store, toy stores, or claire's! ✨ i would NOT recommend putting dollar store makeup on your face if you have sensitive skin, but it's okay for giant barbie head. she has special skin that doesn't get irritated and is happy to model it for you!! ✨ toy makeup you can obviously get at toy stores or online, and it's pretty easy to DIY some ✨you can get fun scented soaps and lotions at the dollar store (sometimes), department stores such as walmart or target, claire's and bath and body works. ✨ bath bombs can be found at lush and department stores ✨ face masks/skincare for kids: department stores, claire's, toy stores (maybe? haven't checked) ✨ sticker earrings, rhinestones, temporary tattoos: claire's, online, toy stores

→ help! i used a new soap/lotion/etc. and now my skin is irritated! oh, no, i'm so sorry!!! you should let your cg know, if you have one. then also check the bottle for instructions on what to do. it will probably say wash the area with mild, non irritating soap and warm water. discontinue use of the product as well! you will most likely be okay after removing it from your skin. and remember to never drink or consume any cosmetic item, no matter how yummy it smells or looks or even TASTES :0 i hope this was fun to read and you get to do fun stuff !!! say safe everyone, i love u, and i'm taking suggestions as well for stuff to add!! lots of love 💗🪽

-> Try to physically get the energy out. Run around, do as many push ups as you can or stay in a plank until you have to fall. They sound silly, but it can help get the tension out.

-> Allow yourself to release the emotions. Crying is okay, yelling into a pillow is okay- just being angry is okay.

-> If you struggle with being able to use nice hands on yourself or others, find fidget toys to distract yourself with. Stress balls can be especially good, because you can give them lots of big squeezes!

-> Create a communication card if you’re prone to lashing out at others. Instead of trying to engage in a conversation where you know you can’t be kind, prepare something ahead of time. Picsart can be a very good tool for creating simple cards like that!

-> Write in a journal or talk to your stuffies about any mean or harsh thoughts you can’t tell others- your stuffies won’t tell anyone, promise!

-> Identify triggers to try and avoid them, or find management for them. Writing down what upsets you can be helpful to reflect back on and learn from.

-> Always remember that you aren’t a bad teeny for having big feelings. It’s okay to be angry, to have tantrums, to not know what to say or do. You can navigate this- you are strong and valuable. ♡

cw ahead for mentions of kink and abdl.

@ageredips-culture-is-archived was an account that used to spread positivity and destigmatize age regressors who wore diapers, thus attracting a rather large audience from the community and the account becoming a safe space for many padded regressors. recently, this account made a post saying that they would be moving and archiving it, moving to @ageredips-culture-is and changing the name of the original blog to the one above. as it turns out, this account is into using their diapers for kink purposes.

though the author (parker) mentions that they agree with separating agere and kink, they specifically mention that diapers make their body "react in certain ways to things" and "nobody is evil for liking diapers for sfw comfort and for sex". they attempt to stand up for the kink community, one that has done active harm in making the agere community look like a nsfw space. it's understandable that people who send in asks may find the kink/abdl community "icky" or "gross"- many of them are minors, and many of them have had bad experiences regarding said community. it's a community based off of paraphilic infantilism and sexualizing the same baby items that these regressors use for comfort. another issue is that parker is all of a sudden "not comfortable talking to minors about diapers", specifically citing their age and that it is "incredibly weird for a college student to be discussing a type of underwear with someone in middle school." however, just a few days before making this post (feb 9), there was an ask posted (where anon specifically mentioned being a minor) on feb 4. this makes zero sense- either this boundary was just being tossed to the side, or parker is trying to cover up due to openly being okay with diapers in kink. another ask talking about how a user mentioned they were grateful to find the page for it not being related to kink was posted a few weeks before as well, though there was a post from december 2024 using a lot of the similar vernacular to the archiving post.

this post, as you can see, strongly emulates a lot of the same points in the post saying they were going to archive the blog. though they didn't like the idea of demonizing kinks, they still kept the blog up and running (and even returned anons being available). this post mildly insinuates them being in the diaper kink community even saying "it's a big part of a lot of people's stories in the ageredips community, me included." a lot of people are uncomfortable interacting with someone who has a diaper kink or is into abdl in any form, especially minors. though yes, their new blog has minors dni, this was before any boundary was put up. even then, a lot of people (myself included) have lost trust in @ageredips-culture-is-archived due to this- having someone who is into diapers as part of the ageredips community is not who we are, as we strive to keep this community safe for work for all.
