jack-o-lantern spells 🎃

when you carve a pumpkin into a lantern this halloween, you can burn different herbs and spices for a spooky candle spell! before you light the inside candle, sprinkle the spice/herb liberally on the inside walls of the pumpkin!

some suggestions:

🕯 allspice -  fortune, healing, and wealth.

🕯 cardamom - love and lust.

A spell jar to attract a new friend.

Jar contents include:

Honey - To compel, used for seeking friends.

Salt - Protection.

Lavender - Peace, joy and harmony.

Rosemary - Friendship and protection.

Orange peel - Happiness, joy and friendship.

While placing each ingredient into your jar, chant:

🌿Magical herbal salt🎀

Hi!🌹 Today I want to share here one of my magic salt recipes!🔮💜

First at all I took some fresh herbs from my little balcony garden and rock salt.🌱

Salt is a crystalline mineral made of two elements, sodium (Na) and chlorine (Cl).Salt magical properties are cleansing, purification, protection.

I used Parsley, Lavender, Basil and Marjoram.

Herbs magical properties are:

Parsley - increase strength, vitality and passion.Parsley is also supposed to protect food from contamination.🌿

Basil - helps steady the mind, brings happiness, love, peace, and money and protects against insanity.🌿

Marjoram - cleansing, purification, and dispelling negativity.🌿

Lavender -love, healing, purification, sleep and beauty.🌿

So that all herbs make my salt more magical and powerful!🌙🔮

I used mortar and pestle to mix that all.🌿After that I added my salt into glass jar and I left in on my altar🔮.

I will add my herbal salt to everything that I cook.

Also I will use it for my protection spells and rituals.🔮

I went ahead and made a cleaner image for the new spread, I like how it turned out. I had to switch two of the positions with each other because it made more sense this way. Anyhow, on with the explanation:

- Place the Sun card in the center

- Position 1: Your self in the light or parts of yourself that you see often

- Position 2: Your self in the shadows or parts of yourself you don’t use much

- Position 3: What you seek at the moment

- Position 4: What you have left behind

- Position 5: What you need at the moment

- Position 6: What to let go of now

- Position 7: The path you will soon take

- Position 8: Your deepest heart brought to light

So there it is! An image, a description…everything you need in order to Read The Sun and learn more about yourself! Let me know if you use this spread, I’d be very curious to see if it worked well for anyone else. I tried it out and it worked out pretty nicely, things seemed accurate and helpful.

☀️ freedom sun spell

to free yourself from past relationships, ideas, brandings, etc, using help from the sun

combination of kitchen, sun, moon, and crystal magick

you will need: tigers eye, coffee, sea salt, waning gibbous/third quarter/waning crescent moon (either work)

brew coffee, stir counterclockwise

go outside, place mug in grass in direct sunlight

place tigers eye in front of mug of coffee, in the sunlight

chant “i am free! i am free! the sun burns away the ropes chaining me to negative past!”

sprinkle sea salt on top of tigers eye and blow off crystal into the sunlight

drink coffee

To Cleanse an Object

For an object to be cleansed of its old powers, bring it to the elements. 

Wrap the object in black cloth and carefully bury it for a number of days. Unearth it, unwrap it and pass it over the smoke of juniper and cedar. Touch the object with water or a special cleansing oil. Then lastly, bear it before a candle’s flame, carefully, so as to warm it.  

With each step, speak these words:

“Buried by earth, Purged by air, Renewed by water, Cleansed by fire.”
