Pitch Script
Hello! My name is Aaron Guenther! Im a senior at UWM in the DVC program
Do you know someone who has been a victim of bike theft?? Unfortunately, college campuses nationwide are a breeding ground for bike thieves.
For a college student, their bike can be their only mode of transportation, and without it can make getting to class or job more difficult than it has to be.
(SLIDE)
An estimated 33,000 bikes are stolen each year on campuses nationwide.
A four year college student has a 30% chance that they will become a victim of bike theft.
What’s even more problematic is they have a 3.9 percent chance of recovering their stolen bike, and  only a 5% percent chance of the thieves getting caught.
(SLIDE)
Introducing Curbb!
Curbb is a GPS enabled mobile application that provides heightened bike security for college students.
Curbb’s approach to preventing bike theft is separated into three main features: Lock, Locate, and Recover.
(SLIDE)
The ‘Lock’ feature refers to activating Curbb’s ‘Lock Mode’ which creates a four foot perimeter around the bike.
(SLIDE)
If the bike were to leave the perimeter the GPS immediately triggers the ‘Locate’ feature. The ‘Locate” feature displays a satellite map rendering that pinpoints the exact location, distance, and destination of the stolen bike.
(SLIDE)
Finally, the ‘Recover’ feature immediately corresponds with law enforcement providing the essential information to recover your bike.
Curbb’s easy 3 step feature gives you the immediate opportunity to locate and assist law enforcement with precise information in that event your bike gets stolen!
IT’S TIME TO CURBB THE PROBLEM!

New gps design and placement concept. This is top view. It’s a simple cylinder that will side into the seat post. The mock “gps” is getting 3D printed and then sending the shapeways to get Mark branded inside on flat bottom
