I would argue that anti-egg people are genuinely worse for pre-out trans people than people who talk about egg stuff. Like yeah each person needs a different experience and touch to finding themselves, but anti-egg people will not humor the idea you're trans. It's a step removed of the abusive partner transfems talk about who constantly hammers on with "you can be a feminine man" stuff. Whereas people who acknowledge tropes and common trends in early trans people are going to be far more willing to point out dysphoria and common coping methods transfems have. Like I have talked to hundreds of people who weren't sure if they were trans and never once was the answer "you can just live as a feminine man" it's always been talking about identity "what would make you feel better with yourself" "what could I do to help you feel at ease." Idk just it really comes off as "no more trannies" when people get so upset about egg stuff.
