I feel like we don’t appreciate Jed’s phenomenal communication skills enough

like, he has absolutely no issue going “when you do this, it makes me feel like this, and I don’t like it” and I think that’s freaking fantastic

he clearly communicates his boundaries, and not only sets them but explains why he has them and how it makes him feel when they’re violated

like, he doesn’t have to do that, but he does

he is so in tune with his emotions and literally has no issue communicating them

and especially considering he’s a guy (and a guy from the Wild West at that) and he’s still so in tune with his feelings and has no issue expressing and communicating them healthily?

Someone give this cowboy a reward right fuckin now

He has better communication skills than anyone I’ve met in real life, like hot damn

And like, you don’t even realize how good they are until you rewatch the movies, but once you notice them like-

like this man knows what he’s feeling and what his emotions are so well, and just says what he’s feeling. And what makes it stand out so much is that he doesn’t just do it with positive emotions, emotions where it’s easier to express them. He does it with the negative emotions too, the ones people hate to express and/or have a really hard time expressing.

Doubts? Voices them. Anger? You will know when and why he is angry. Uncomfortable? If it wasn’t your problem before, it is now.

THATS WHAT IM SAYING MAN! Yes he's not a good guy but his parents definitely contributed to that

Kahmunrah keeps getting treated like a one-note evil of the franchise when the mere FACT that his parents played favorites implied an abusive environment that CAN'T have been good for his emotional development.

I still badly want an Akhmenrah and Kahmunrah family reunion.

I wanna see them yell at each other in ancient Egyptian and get into a protracted and maybe physical fight.

I'm curious if Akh's time in the sarcophagus gave him time to ponder the manner of his demise. (Ofc however much time you spend away from assholes, it's always a different kettle of fish when they asshole to your face.)

NatM Attila: A big bear, emotionally vulnerable, and loyal to all his friends, maybe tried dismembering a man, but he's just a big dumb softy, speaks complete gibberish all the time, but secretly speaks english, anger issues, probably not attracted to people at all/violence horny(that one's just for laughs don't hurt me)

Historically accurate Attila: pretty ugly(most Huns were), humble, always keeps his word, but in a scary/godfather way, terrorized a whole empire, actually very well educated, but did kill his brother to seize total control over the Huns, speaks a few languages, and was great in psychological warfare, had several wives and even wages a war over a girl

just thinking about the night hours program in natm 2 &3… little kids seeing historical figures from their culture (although they wouldn’t know the truth).

Native girls flocking to Sacagawea, seeing that she is smart, kind, beautiful. Like them.

Children trying to speak Arabic with Ahkmenrah, who ask him if he really is Egyptian.

Attila being a comfort to hard of hearing kids, how he can tell a story without words we understand, kids who speak languages none of their friends speak.

Teddy spreading the word of nature conservation, an avid advocate for the beauty of our world, teaching kids about the different animals in the museum.

I just think the idea of kids interacting with them is adorable
