Sage had fully committed to being dramatic, lying down on the couch as she read off of her phone— the words swam as she tried to determine if light mode was better than dark mode, but ultimately none of the text seemed to stick. A knock at her door made her perk up, shifting up to stand and make her way to answer it. Minjun’s voice made her smile, opening it to reveal him and what appeared to be their dinner. “I was going to make you wait a little bit to make you sweat a bit, but,” she reached for the bag in his hand, tugging it and him inside greedily. “I’m starving.” Sage lead them to the kitchen, where she began to pull plates out of the cupboards. “So, where did you go the other night? I lost you after like, thirty minutes.”

“ i would have eaten this in the hallway and left you know , ” minjun answers honestly though a smile plays on his lips . he gives up possession of their food and opts for the plates she pulls out , taking them to the table out of routine . “ was it thirty minutes ? felt like longer --- someone was passing around a joint that took me out of commission for a good portion of the night . i tried looking for you before i left but there was a lot of people . ”

the entire night is a bit of a haze if he’s honest but overall worth experience . minjun gets the hype behind it all now . “ i assumed you weren’t dead and look , here we both are about to eat fried chicken . ” he offers a smile as he takes one of the containers out of the bag , setting it up on the table . “ where you end up going off too that night ? ”
