Please join us in our celebration of our beautiful boy Jack on his "gotcha day"! Today we are celebrating 6 amazing years with this special boy. At approximately 29 years old, Jack is one of our most senior horses. In spite of his advanced age and a medical condition called shivers, he is a beautiful and graceful horse and is loved by many. Jack has a gentle and loving soul and people of all ages are drawn to his sweet and laid-back character. Some of his favourite things are visits from his friends, stretching out for naptime in the sunshine, hanging out with his paddock-mate Buddy and nibbling the leftover bits of hay in the wheelbarrow - he loves take-out food!

Oh my! What’s Buddy so excited about? His Gotcha Day, of course!!

Buddy is A Horse Tale’s first rescue. He was originally saved by RR Refuge in Ontario. He arrived at our farm on February 22, 2013. During the time we have had him, he has been showered with love and affection, and the change in him is unbelievable. He is loving, gentle, and a real pleasure to be around!

Happy Gotcha Day to our special boy! We love you, Buddy!!

It's Uly's Gotcha Day! 

Three years ago today, our beautiful boy joined the herd and enchanted the members of AHT with his goofy antics and kind, loving soul. We love you Uly! <3

AHT is celebrating Zephyr’s gotcha day! Hard to believe it’s been a year since this charming chestnut Paint came to A Horse Tale after spending most of his life as a school horse. He attached very quickly to Chocolate and the two are now inseparable! Happy gotcha day, Zephyr!! ❤️ What do you get a horse for his gotcha day?
