Abigail had been browsing through a different section of records when she heard someone besides her speak up. Looking up from the collection, she tilted her head to the side. Her face scrunched up as she thought for a moment of which one would be the better choice. “Those are two very good options, if I do say so myself. I’d have a hard time choosin’ as well…but I’m gonna have to go with Queen. There’s somethin’ about Queen that I just can’t get enough of. And if that doesn’t help you decide, then fuck it! Get both.”

Aiana let out a quiet laugh at the other’s words,nodding as she agreed with every single word that left the other female’s lips.”I would love to get both but I promised myself that I would only buy one record a month. Don’t want to become the vinyl record version of crazy cat lady where my house is basically covered in them.”She said jokingly,letting out a small laugh.”So,you vote for Queen?”

“That depends on what fits you and your vibe” Luciano said and nodded to his own words, turning around to face the other as a soft smile formed on his lips, crossing his arms over his chest. “Queen is a great band and one of my personal favorites. But if you have eight Queen records then I think you should spoil yourself with some ABBA” he chuckled. “I love how we are having discourse about which record to buy in the middle of a store. It’s quite amusing to me”

“Both fit everyone and their vibe,even those punk emo rock fans enjoy some ABBA once in a while.”Aiana commented with a small chuckle,letting a gentle grin form on her lips. She shifted her body to look up at him,nodding along to his words.”I am very tempted to get ABBA but there’s always that one part of me begging to get some more Queen.”She chuckled along,placing the Swedish band’s record back in its place.”Might be unusual but it’s a great way to start a conversations if you ask me.”

A small laugh escaped her lips at his words,nodding her head as she placed the ABBA record back in its place.”Thank you for helping me decide.”Aiana said with a sweet smile,turning to him and offering her hand for him to shake.”I’m Aiana.”

After Ollie got a new record player for their birthday back in April, a new hobby had become collecting vinyls to play on it. They loved a wide range of music, from 80′s hits to musical soundtracks they just enjoyed any sort of feel good song. Music had always been such a huge part of their life, so they listened to it constantly. Even at home, which made the records fun to save for there. They were browsing through Jackson 5 records currently, since Michael Jackson was one of their favorite singers and they didn’t have any records from his younger years yet. They were focused on looking at the tracklist on the Goin’ Back to Indiana record when a voice pulled them out of their daze. Leaning over, Ollie looked over the two vinyls in the young woman’s hands and smiled. They liked both, but the theatre kid inside of them caused a certain biased response. “You’re deciding between these two? Mamma Mia…… there you go again! My, my……. how could you resist ABBA?” They snorted, then started to fully break out into singing: “Mamma Mia, does it show again? My, my just how much I’ve missed ya?!” They sang rather loud, unsure if other people could hear them as well. They covered their mouth innocently after and giggled.

Aiana began collecting vinyl records since she was adopted and never stopped. Her mothers had a wide variety of vinyls and gave them all to her when she moved out of their house. Going to the vinyl record store and bringing one home was like a piece of home right there in her hands. With a wide smile,she shook her head before putting down the Queen record.”Yes I’ve been brokenhearted,blue since the day we parted. Why why did I ever let you go?”She sang along,letting out a small laugh at the end.”ABBA it is then.”

Once again,Aiana found herself in a dilemma. It was always like this when she visited the vinyl records store,there were just too many great options and she often had a hard time choosing which one to take home with her. She had a growing classic vinyl record collection which she was very proud of and planned on continuing it until it was complete. Andrei’s Saturday mornings were usually spent with treating himself to a big breakfast at Sunshine diner before he went to visit his grandparents. He liked to use his day off helping around the ranch, something he had learned to love ever since he had moved to Springhill from Romania two decades ago now. “I was thinking of going for a ride back at the ranch later today.” He told the other as he took a bite of his eggs, setting his fork down for a moment to stir his second cup of coffee that morning. “Would you like to join me?” His uncles had taught him how to ride horses, which AJ would say he was pretty good at. When he wasn’t busy delivering babies, he often found himself at his family ranch, just going for a stroll with his trusted horse - Boxer.

Aiana’s mornings were always spent responding to emails,texts and listening to voicemails so when Andrei invited her for some breakfast,it all felt like a breath of fresh air. They didn’t hang out often due to their hectic schedules but grasped every chance they got do so. Taegan swore as she stood on her tip-toes. Even with the added height of her combat boots, Teagan was several inches too short to reach the top shelf. She could have asked someone for help, logically, but Teagan was too stubborn. Instead, she carefully balanced herself on the shelf below her in hopes that she could finally reach. Were the double chocolate cookies worth all of this effort? Teagan didn’t take time to ponder this. As soon as her inked fingers curled around the paper bag, she lost her footing on the shelf. There was a loud bang! as items tumbled on top of her and she wiped out entirely. A helpless heap on the floor of the grocery store, Teagan met the eyes of the person closest to her. “So, like, that was all 100% planned. I swear.”

Aiana couldn’t remember what she was doing in the store in the first place. She had just arrived from a twelve hour flight and her mind was still foggy. The jetlag often took over her and she always ended up forgetting everything. With her shopping cart almost empty,the Indian female ended up looking through every isle to remember what she needed. A small smile appeared on her face as she spotted her favorite brand of sweets. She immediately grabbed two large packs and was ready to move on to the next isle when she heard a loud noise behind her. Her eyes inspected the scene close to her,a short chuckle escaping her lips.”Yeah,totally.”She commented with a joking tone.”Do you want me to go get someone to help?”

it was a very busy day for kim, she started off her day starting in aubrey’s gallery and then went to the tattoo shop for her angry clients she didn’t have time to for the last few weeks. she was falling asleep on her last customers and she told her that she wants to be on her best and she’ll discount him the money because of her actions. kim decided to leave her car the tattoo shop and take the bus cause she was so scared she’ll fall asleep on the wheel. it wasn’t a long ride but kim had a few minuted but sadly, she was into some deep sleep and missed her station to leave. sleepy kim stayed in her seat until someone came up to her and woke her up. she woke up jumping– “oh my god! where are we?” she said standing up quickly.

It was extremely rare for Aiana to take the bus,she hadn’t done it since she was just a teenager,new to the city but when she saw a bus stop right in front of her,she couldn’t help herself but to wait for the next one. A smile grew on her lips as the vehicle stopped in front of her and walked in,paying for the entire trip until the last stop. The activist ran to the back of the bus and sat down,her gaze caught on the window. Millions of thoughts flooded her mind as the bus started to move,a small sigh leaving her lips. She had never been so tired in her whole life. Time flew and when she finally snapped out of her thoughts,the bus was on its last stop and the only people inside it were her and another women who seemed to be fast asleep. Quietly,Aiana got up and approached her,shaking her shoulder gently.”It’s the last stop,you might want to get out.”

Aiana was born in Deli,India to loving Indian parents who were known for their casinos spread all over the continent.

She grew up under a lot of pressure from her family,who wanted her to continue the family business and kept pushing her to be the perfect daughter.

Her father was never an honorable man,everyone knew he often hit his wife but the media and authorities chose to ignore it.

When she was seven,her mother passed away unexpectedly in a plane crash,leaving her alone with her father. He coped with his loss through drugs and alcohol to the point where he verbally and physically abused his daughter. Most of the time,he wasn’t home but when he was,he took out all his anger on her without any regret.

At the age of eleven,Aiana found out he had arranged a marriage between her and the President’s nephew. Her wedding was scheduled to be shortly after her fourteenth birthday.

The authorities refused to believe her father would do anything like that,leaving her without any choice but to live on under her father’s roof.

On her fourteenth birthday,she took all of her savings and bought herself a plane ticket to New Jersey and ran away from her country.

When she arrived,Aiana was treated as an illegal citizen and was taken to court. The woman who represented her finally convinced the judge to send her to an orphanage even though she was supposed to be deported back to Deli.

Two years after,she became a legal citizen of the United States and was adopted by two wonderful women. They helped her open a case against her father who ended up being sentenced to twenty-five years in prison. 

Not long after he was imprisoned,he killed himself,leaving all of his million dollar fortune to his only heir,Aiana.

When she became of age,Aiana inherited all her money and went on to use it to help people all around the world.

Even if she’s known for her fight for women’s rights,she often talks about issues like racism,child abuse,use of alcohol and drugs,the LGBTQ+ community and many more.

Five years ago,she founded The Aiana Foundation that helps anyone who suffer from any type of abuse. It offers shelter,financial help and even helps them start fresh. 

She is the face of many campaigns and often travels with associations like UNICEF in missions.

At the moment,she lives in Spring Hills and still works as an activist,giving speeches all around the world and helping others.
