Attention!

Last week, the eight teams for the Collab Tournament were revealed. Today, I'll be showing which team is competing against which, as well as the general rules for the tournament. First off, the rules. Yes, they're boring and suck, but they are needed.

Rules:

Schedule: The Collab is scheduled to begin on November 2nd, the first Saturday of the month, and will continue through the rest of the month until the fourth Saturday, which is the 23rd. I'll try to have all of the songs posted by or around noon. If not by then, then definitely before 5 P.M.

Sending in Songs: After the theme has been chosen (and a winner from the previous round has been shown), you will send me a song that you want your OC to sing, either by PM or IM. The song can be whatever you want. If it's animated or a real person, it's fine. I don't judge I know how hard it can be to find a song/singer that sounds or feels like your OC. (Don't forget the title of the song!)

IMPORTANT: If possible, try to send your songs in ASAP. I'd like to have all songs by no later than each Thursday night or Friday morning, so I can begin work on the week's songs. If you need help finding a good song or think you won't be able to post a song in time, either let me or one of your teammates know, and we'll do our best to help. If you don't, I'll leave the choice of song in your teammates' hands, and if you don't like the song they chose, oh well.

Themes: After discussing it with my friends, it's been decided that I will be choosing the themes for each team to do their songs on. The themes will generally only be one word revolving around a certain feeling (similar to what ParaLive does). I'll try to pick a theme that's easy for people to find songs for. But if you can't find a song that's fits the theme or doesn't sound like your OC, then don't worry about it, and pick a song that you like. As stated, I know how hard it can be to find a song that feel/sounds like your OC.

Voting: Voting is scheduled to begin as soon as the songs have been posted (which is why I'll be trying my hardest to make sure they are all out by noon, if possible). I learned from last year, so I won't be using Google Polls this time since it's annoying. I'm not sure which poll system I'll use, but I'll be sure to let everyone know.

As stated, voting is scheduled to begin each Saturday afternoon, and will last until Tuesday evening, which is when the winning teams will then be announced, along with the new theme. As soon as you have listened to the songs, be sure to head to the poll on the website and vote for the team you think won.

IMPORTANT: I know I'm probably wasting my time and breathe by saying this, but please try to be fair and honest when you vote. Don't just vote for the team that has your OC in it, as that takes all of the fun of the contest. This is partially the reason why I'm not using Google Polls this year cause it allows a person to vote more than once, and that ruined the voting last year.

I think that about covers everything. If there's anything else, I'll be sure to let everyone know.

So now, without further ado, allow me to show just which team will be facing which in the tournament for the first round:

Definition: 'the strength and power that comes from coming together as a team or a community. The idea that when people join forces, they can achieve more than they ever could alone.'

3. Cyber Nexus vs. Darkness Made Flesh

Theme for Battle: Dreams

Definition: 'the aspirations and goals that drive us forward. The hopes and ambitions that fuel our journey, the visions of what we want to achieve, and the relentless pursuit of our passions, turning them into reality.'

4. Future Forward vs. Nerd Roulette

Theme for Battle: Freedom

Definition: 'the state of being free from constraints, limitations, or oppression. It's about the ability to act, speak, and think without hindrance or restraint, breaking free from anything that hinders you.'

So, these are the first-round teams and themes that will take place on the 2nd of November. I look forward to the song that are sent in, and a good contest. Until next time.

Ladies and gentlemen, the time has finally come to reveal the eight teams that will be participating in the Collab Event Tournament. I thank all those who volunteered to participate and sent in requests for their OC to be a captain or part of the team.

Just FYI: I had little to do with the team selection. I simply inputted everyone's OCs in a team randomizer, and it sorted up to four people in a team. So, without further ado, allow me to introduce the eight teams participating in the tournament...

As you can see, these are the participants and the teams competing in the tournament. I apologize if your OC wasn't chosen, but I assure you that doesn't mean that they won't appear somewhere in the collaboration. It lasts all month long, so they may be featured in a song or two.

For those who were chosen, take time to get to know your teammates and collaborate with them. If you aren't happy with your teammates, PM or IM and I'll see what I can do, but chances are, they're stuck there until the tournament is over.

Issey's Memoirs

Narrated by Issey Nishizawa

Hello, Mr. Reader. I am Issey Nishizawa, your faithful writer. I have a lot of ideas and a lot to tell, but Eiji told me not to go too far because, you know, it would take forever.

What do you want to know about me? My hobbies? My childhood? My travels? I don't know where to start. My family is from here, Aichi prefecture. I have two younger brothers and an older brother, who went to live in Switzerland. My father has a small business and my mother is a homeowner.

My relationship with my family is nice, well, I can't really complain. Even though I don't see them very often, I know they love me and I love them back.

But let's not talk about that, huh? Let's talk about MY FRIENDS !!!!

My best friend is Eiji. He is my soulmate. I met him three years ago. The guy HAS A VIBE! As soon as I saw him, I said: HE'S PERFECT! I don't know, it was a heart thing, you know? I saw him and I knew he would have a great talent. It was a hope, an oasis in the desert, because I had been wanting to put together a team for a while. Have you seen his eyes? They glow as if they were from a toxic chemical. It's mesmerizing. Well, I think I went off topic, but, shit, I had to chase him for a whole afternoon to get him to say something other than "fuck you".

I can make you a list of why I think Eiji is the COOLEST guy to ever walk this earth (along with Tetsuya).

Dresses great

Speaks perfect English

He is a very good composer

When he laughs, it seems as if the world stands still

He is loyal, sarcastic and quite observant.

I like spending time with him. We always talk about music, USA stuff, and many other topics. Well, he's really more of a listening guy, you know? I really like his voice, it's very calm.

Shouta is also my best friend. Yes, he's quite a bit older than me, but his mind is like a teenager's sometimes. Have you ever seen his graffiti? I think it's something he hasn't openly shown but they ARE AMAZING. He has something with art that is much deeper and higher than any other connection he has.

He is very talented and even though he has drug problems, since joining our team, he has worked very hard to rehabilitate himself. I don't think he sees it, but he really has an incredible talent in music.

I also like that he's a jerk, I mean, in a good way. He makes stupid jokes just like me. Have you seen Gravity Falls? He has more or less Stanley's personality haha I like that show, my favorite character is Mabel. I think I'm like her in many ways. Ah but I went off topic again, sorry-

Shouta is a person I can really rely on for everything. He always tries to give us his wisdom and help us, even when he needs more help than us. He is like a father…

Ujum… but hey. Did I ever tell you about the time Shouta took Eiji and I out for ice cream and ran into his ex? HIS EX WAS THE SALESMAN. It was very awkward and funny, because the guy looked really angry and Shouta was so nervous that he looked like he was going to faint.

Ah, I don't know if I told you that Shouta really likes k-pop. Sometimes I catch him dancing to some choreos alone, when he thinks no one is watching. It's very funny, he does it horribly. Although sometimes he gets it really good, especially the hip steps or something like that.

And I don't know if I told you about his brother, who is the opposite of him. We met him once, he looked like an idol, he was extremely handsome and very good in-

I think I'm going too far again.

Well, Shouta has a lot of positive things, that's why I made him the leader. Sometimes I feel guilty, like, he really tries to do the best he can and I think he feels pressured. I don't like that.

I have another friend, who we usually talk online. His name is Marco, he is a CEO, he works in Sumida. We met because we played Call of Duty together. He is very talented. And he has a great voice. I like that guy.

I'm running out of space so I'll make a list of things that I like:

My favorite rappers are the Wu Tang Clan, Dr Dre and EMINEM.

My fav icecream is Vainilla and Strawberry.

I like meeting new people

I like to play a lot of video games

Tetsuya is a really cool guy, he looks like he's going to break everyone's nose: COOL

CRAZY SUMMER🏖

The girls of " cutie chaser" were still too busy to think about vacation… vacation was something that was missing in their bodies. the leader, rikka on one hand was too busy, in fact, she did not want to have vacation, but the staff was the one who wanted to get rid of her, at least for a some days, there was a person who was going to replace her for a few days, but it was a guy who was still in his internship and rikka was teaching him. Since the staff wanted to get rid of Rinko later, they promised her that nothing would happen to her beloved job, and so Rinko could do nothing but accept it since even her boss imposed such a vacation. Rinko on the one hand, she was pampered at the agency, everything she wanted was given to her, they could not be angry with the person who was generating juicy profits for them. And this time she wanted to have a few days off to spend it with her beloved sister and Tonae. Being at the beach, sunbathing and getting a little tan was something she wanted, maybe it is something very different from what other women want, but a nice tan has always been something she has longed for, so Rinko was the one who started to bother the others in the division to go to the beach, some beach nearby, it was not necessary to go so far, she spent days sending messages to Rinko, bothering Tonae in the house to go out, she just wanted to have a day of fun.

The annoyance of having a fly called rinko in one's ear saying "beach beach beach beach" all damn day was something that rikka, and leaving the cell phone on silent was no longer an option, tonae was about to lock her out of the house. But they had to agree, one is not strong enough to put up with that annoyance any longer. But they had to if or if to have something rikka wanted, to take beer to the beach, rikka claimed- "I will not move from this place to another crowded place in unbearable heat if there is nothing cool to drink, and I refuse to drink juices, if there is no beer I will not go anywhere." Tonae on the other hand was saying she wouldn't go if rikka didn't go, but to her bad luck rikka had already set a condition that Rinko already had ready. They left for a nearby beach in Rikka's car, they had to have some kind of transportation where they could keep some things. Once at the beach, cutie chaser got out of the car and visualized that there were a lot of people, it was obvious, it was almost the end of summer, people don't want to miss the best season of the year. while they walked to look for a place to put an umbrella. Someone well known to rinko became visible, and she exclaimed "TARGET IN SIGHT", tonae and rikka only saw rinko carrying things at a great speed.

Tonae trying to calm rikka's anger was patting him on the back saying "we know rinko can be a pain in the ass, but I don't think he chose the wrong place". Rikka glared at Tonae and replied, "She'd better be". Once the rest of the members arrived to where rinko had put everything they realized that he was CLEARLY invading another division's space, they could see someone they had already seen on valentine's eve in suginami, Rikka didn't know whether to laugh or cry, was it a bad thing or a good thing? So much effort to try to keep Rinko away from people who could be prone to be practically harassed went down the drain, there was something clear, this could serve to be able to meet more people, but at what cost…. Things were already done, they could not get out of there, there was no more room on that crowded beach, the only thing left to do was to be strong and stay with those men that most of them were strangers.

The exit was going well, everything calmly, rinko trying to talk to that tall and ungainly man, the little blond haired boy was with someone good looking, although he kept shouting "DIE" to the little boy, it was something almost diabolical.

The whole trip was going relatively well, until in the blink of an eye all that had changed, screams reached everyone's ears, rikka turned around and found a scene that looked like a horror movie, a horde of men was coming towards them, Rinko was chewing on the tall guy's pants, what was going on?! The leader tied her bra back on and started trying to pull rinko out of the ashen haired man's pants, while she saw people running everywhere nearby, she could see the sour bomb leader running towards the mini detective's direction, landing on his back while grabbing him by the abdomen, yelling "THERE IS THE WITCH, THROW WATER ON HER TO DEATH, I WILL DO ANYTHING FOR YOU BUT KILL HIM". Everyone was hiding behind tonae, and bernard being well stuck, trembling while hugging rikka tightly " … it's weird to see you like this… being eerm conscious… I mean, WHAT ARE YOU DOING and why is everyone running???" exclaimed rikka while bernard looked with fear at the stylist arriving with minato by the hand and the other members coming walking with a somewhat weird aura.

They started to hear Tonae shouting "YOU ARE KILLING HIM MAN, STOP HOLDING ON TO HIM, HE IS DELICATE, BITCH" towards the sour bomb leader while the other boy who was from suginami also insulted the other, in the distance they could see that the little boy's face was totally red and his body was not responding. All the guys who were previously running scared stopped bothering, now the important thing was that a member of suginami was unconscious, it must have been very strong the grabbing, everyone looked at the little boy who had been pulled out of the water with a super hot face, clearly it was the fault of the one who grabbed him, so everyone reached the consensus to leave in charge the one who committed such a crime.

The leader of Aichi exclaimed "give him mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, asshole.", on one side, rinko being the half savior, started to tell him "don't worry, maybe it was a heat stroke, he has been exposed to the sun for a long time, but you will still have to take care of him, don't touch him too much, fufufufu, maybe with another touch you will break him a bone" she said while taking the tall man by the hand to take him to buy ice cream. All the others started to make plans to stay in a hut that a relative of the leader of Itabashi had, Rikka talking to the stylist could know what was the event that had happened before, so the revenge plan was underway, between the two of them they thought of sabotaging Bernard's sunblock with Rinko's suntan lotion.

When the afternoon came, the 5 divisions were playing cards, losing money, it was the battle of the leader of suginami against the leader of adachi, it was the ultimate fight to take the money of the others, it was a fight worthy of admiration, both angry trying to make the other lose.

While the little one who had decompensated was still with the other boy…. talking and laughing? It was a bit weird, at least that's what the boy in the striped shirt who was still with Rinko…. had exclaimed.

All in all it was a passable summer, the girls were able to meet some new faces from other divisions, chat and try to socialize, even if they were the only girls among them, they had a great time, many intense things happened, fights, someone almost died, bernard tanned to the max, the loss of money of many others, all in all an unforgettable summer.

A surprising and unexpected invitation to the beach reached the members of Cloud 9. Apparently Shouta had planned an outing with Raiden from Itabashi division and somehow managed to convince the tattoo artist to invite his teammates for the day as well.

"I prefer not to go. I don't like sand" Naturally, Eiji declined.

"Aaaaw but we could make sand statues and-"

"I said no".

Despite Issey's complaints, he and Shouta finally attended the blissful beach outing. Issey was happy to spend time with the other Itabashi members, especially to get to know Bernard better and of course, try to elucidate the kind of "friendship" existing between Shouta and Raiden. (Do best friends kiss and hold hands in secret?)

Arriving at the beach, they were able to meet Bernard and Raiden, enjoying the sun (well, with a large sunshade). Issey was so excited that he was shaking from having so much energy.

Shouta greeted Bernard politely and smiled in Raiden's direction, with a look that seemed to say more than he could say in words. He was proud that he had convinced Raiden to make this walk (apparently planned as a date) into an outing with "family" overtones. He approached the tattoo artist with an air of pride at his victory.

"I hope you're not upset about this, I wouldn't want to take some kind of punish-" Issey could not hear what Shouta was whispering to a blushing Raiden, as Bernard immediately invited him to make sand figures.

The rest of the day was, in fact, quite entertaining. Issey was able to debut his Patrick Star swimsuit while Shouta put on his mythical pink thong that gave a rather particular view. Shouta really wanted to get under Raiden's skin, apparently as revenge for finding out that the artist had slept with others. Even in one ocassion, his thong almost came off in a wave, RIGHT IN FRON OF RAIDEN'S GAZE.

The plan was apparently working, as Raiden immediately decided to go for some ice cream.

At that moment, Shouta collides with a young and small man, who he was able to recognize in a millisecond given to the voice that sounded behind him.

"Oh fuck, c'mon... WHY ARE YOU HERE, ASSHOLE?" Shouta thought upon seeing Tetsuya, however, he couldn´t respond to the guy's insults cuz Raiden was calling him.

After that encounter, Shouta feared that the outing would turn out to be a complete failure, but to his surprise, it was they were having an amazing time. Issey was able to get lose to his "idol" Tetsuya ("OMG, OMG, TETSUYA-SAN, YOU´RE SO COOL, CAN WE PLAY VOLEY TOGETHER????"), Shouta was able to chat with Minato and Jinwoo (Tetsuya even seemed much calmer, much to Shouta's surprise) , and thet even made a joke to the stylist.

...Too bad they never warned him that Jinwoo was a person to be feared, despite his calm character-

At least there was a photo for posterity, where three enemy divisions were able to spend some quality time together.

NICE SUMMER, BAD SUMMER?

Sour bomb even being in the great Tokyo trying to investigate each division and to be able to observe both from far and near to each individual they are presented with the great obstacle of the weather, an embracing heat. Being outside with the tremendous sun was not something that would accompany, in fact it was driving them crazy and more aggressive with each other. Between sweat and a face totally red from the heat the leader begins to curse everyone and to be shouting everywhere. I CAN'T STAND THIS FUCKING PLACE ANYMORE!!!! WHY IN THIS FUCKING CITY SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO CONCUR AND THERE'S NO SPACE TO COOL OFF!!!!!

While everyone looks at the 3 individuals in the middle of the street, everyone starts to feel uncomfortable with Tetsuya. The stylist just tends to step aside saying that he doesn't know such a guy while looking at him with a disgusted face. While Minato just tries to calm Tetsuya down by grabbing him by the abdomen while saying in a low voice - Why don't we go to the beach then, so we could be a little refreshing With such a proposal Tetsuya stops screaming and grabs Minato saying- YOU'RE A FUCKING GENIUS! THAT HEAD STILL WORKS, what would I do without you Minato dear. we'd have to head to odaiba or somewhere with a freaking beach, just imagine, pretty women in bikinis, the sun beating down and the waves doing their thing, paradise?!

Jinwoo can't believe that the two of them are in cahoots on anything, as if they are close friends, between his teeth he can only hear a "I can't believe it…". As he rolls his eyes in disgust, knowing that all expenses will have to be covered by his savings. To prepare and go to the beach they had to look at everything from costumes, some things not to die trying and even something to eat. Although Jinwoo only said he would support them with the swimsuits, the rest they would have to see for themselves.

Once on the beach the group was divided into those who were playing and resting, although the only one who seemed to be having fun was their leader, he looked like a little kid playing with the water while he took Minato to be under his "tutelage" watching some women. Jinwoo for his part just lay down to get some shade while trying not to close his eyes so as not to fall asleep.

What they didn't know was that within the impromptu "vacation" trip they would encounter the itabashi and aichi divisions. While sour bomb was having fun Minato collides head on with someone in a pink thong "HEEEEEYYY FUCKING SIMIUM, GET OUT OF THE WAY you almost broke the poor kid's nose…. OOOOH HELL NAAAH not you again, I can't believe that every time I'm somewhere happy I have to find myself with y-". Before he finished speaking a "Shou-Shou" was heard from far away, of course it was the four-eyed Raiden who was carrying some ice cream in his hand, while behind him the whole Dar-K-Barett division followed him. The whole gang of losers has gathered, sour bomb was about to leave the place until Bernard asks for the stylist who is notoriously sleeping in the shadows, so bernard joins Tetsuya's ear proposing him a truce as a sign of affection and playing a joke on jinwoo, before such a proposal it was a no-brainer. The deal was done, they moved Jinwoo's body to a place closer to the water while they buried the stylist's body.

At the end of the figure jinwoo was already buried, some members of the 3 divisions took a picture next to the buried body of the stylist, between laughs a water gun wets tetsuya, which makes it come out a little different from those in the photo.

At the end of the photo, everyone stood around in front of such a work of art, they all looked at each other and understood that they would be in big trouble if Jinwoo woke up. Again the laughter is present, the rivalry for a moment had been lost, 3 enemy divisions had been in a moment of fun.

amidst the laughter jinwoo begins to open his eyes slowly due to the exposure to the sun and the annoying feeling of not being able to move any part of his body.

Minato between laughs turns to tetsuya saying- "jinwoo is going to kill us, we will have to escape, I am not good at running, you are going to have to carry me in your arms tet …." Before finishing the sentence Tetsuya and the others were already running for their lives since jinwoo was on Minato's back. Who the fuck woke up jinwoo?!!!, Bernard you're going to have to hide us now. everyone run damn it the witch at the back will leave you bald!!!!!!

Eiji's Memoirs

Narrated by Eiji Mizoguchi

The truth is that this memoir thing is something that is very strange to me, but at Shōta-san insistence, I'll do my best to tell you some things about myself.

I lived most of my life in L.A. I grew up in the subs. I learned to live in a system that, despite constantly discriminating against POC, we were armed with music and rap, especially. Lamar, Wu-Tang Clan, Dr Dre... I grew up with them. I had a group of homies with whom we survived and hung out on the streets... good times.

Until I had to move to Japan.

I never had any interest in leaving L.A in a first place; but I also understood that the decision was because of the work of my father, Haruto Mizoguchi. He is a researcher and professor of sciencie. Without my sis, we moved to Japan with anything but a lot of dreams.

But the change was very hard, especially in the first few months.

When my classmates realized that I was, as they call me, a hafu freak, they simply wouldn't leave me alone never again. Since then, I really HATED Japan, its culture and everything related to it very much. I had hope that living from zero in an unknown country would -somehow- help me to out of the shadows of my big sis, but it was the opposite.

Issey really was like a light in that hole. Well, the truth is that it came like a thunderbolt, thunderous and painful. He was a popular guy, literally, very popular. For me he was very annoying, mostly because he was OBSESSED with trying to get to know me and get some small talk topic out of me about the USA and I don't know what else bullshit.

You have to understand that at that time, I didn't trust absolutely no one and, well, trusting a talkative and colorful Japanese guy just didn't make sense to me. I tried to ignore him many times and other times I simply told him to go fuck himself. But he never stopped.

It took him a whole afternoon to catch me and almost kidnap me to try to be my friend.

The moment he held me in his arms, smiling like a maniacal psychopath, I knew that maybe my life in Japan wouldn't be so miserable and that this guy really was a… nice guy. Never in my life has someone been so interested in me, so genuinely. I think it was inevitable that I would be attracted to him…. I mean, in a friendly way, of course.

Out of courtesy, I accepted his invitation to be his friend and later his division partner. Actually, participating in D.B.R. came as a genuine surprise to me. I never saw myself competing in an area that has historically been my big sister's territory. Rapping, composing… it was something that was in my blood. And curiously Issey was able to detect it in me.

I really hope that idiot isn't reading this, because he'd be bugging me for the rest of the week. But the truth is, I'm very grateful to be his friend. I don't know what I would be without that jerk.

Well, anyway, I ended up in the Aichi division, along with Shouta-san, our designated leader from Issey. The truth… is that I didn't have much confidence in Shouta's ability to rap or… well, to do whatever. When we met him, he was really high. VERY high. I always felt a little sorry for him and I really regret treating him badly in the beginning.

Our leader is a rather self-conscious man but with a resilience that you don't often see and I admire that about him. Despite his addictions and his actions that lead him to self-sabotage, he always tried to teach us to follow our dreams and does his best to accompany us in that. He literally does more than my own parents, no joke.

I don't like it when other people try to take advantage of him, sometimes he can be a very good person or, on the contrary, be very vulnerable.

Shouta-san, if you read this, please take care of yourself. The division would not be the same without you. Issey admires you, even if he doesn't say so openly. I believe that deep down, he is afraid to put more weight on your shoulders. You're a good guy.

I really don't know how to end this, but I really just want to say that I am very grateful for what I have now and I really hope we can win the D.B.R., not for the money, but for others to take us seriously, you know what I mean? I know there are several competitors that maybe see us in less, you know, because we are common, ordinary and losers. Well maybe Issey is the exception… but the truth is, we shouldn't be underestimated.

That stupid as always acting like an asshole begging for attention online and playing with people… Sometimes he doesn't even date anyone, he just looks at people's profiles and starts speculating about their sexual life as if he knows for sure. Urg… Raiden is so obnoxious, even worse is that somehow he always seems to get his weird sex-assumptions right…. Anyway, I asked him about Shouta, but he didn't give me any details. No doubt this guy is one of the most talented boys in the Aichi division. I think he's actually the one to watch out for and maybe even the one to pull the rounds off. There is no doubt that he is the mind among the three of them. I still don't understand how he gets along so well with the other nuisance who has the same name as me… Urg… Maybe I'll ask him for advice on how to put up with people like that who are insufferable."

I love this group, I really do -I hope the sarcasm is noted-. Whatever. I guess they were able to find unity, strength and hope in their misery. "Oh, Mr. Miyamoto-san!!! I have heard about him. He's the older brother of a girl… what was her name? Genieve? Well, that girl was very sweet and well, I helped her when she was feeling very bad on the street, a while ago. She mentioned her brother to call him for help. I had never really imagined that I would see him again!!! Nor had I imagined that he is the leader of an entire division. Miyamoto-san is quite a talented, glamorous and flamboyant guy haha, I like that kind of person.

I heard that it is related to the theater. That's very cool. In my life I've been able to go to the theater a couple of times with my family, many years ago. We saw Les Miserables and also an adaptation of The Little Prince. I am always inspired by the love that actors put into their roles. They imbue their soul into these characters and make them their own. It gives me goose bumps. I wonder if Miyamoto-san is like that too".

It proper gobsmacked me! Well, sincerely, I’m not a fan of all that drug business, it’s absolutely ghastly. Really, that it's not my cup of tea. It’s like a cruel, treacherous, and dark world that ensnares wonderful people, leading them down a dreadful path… However, Shouta seems like a decent bloke despite having used drugs, certainly more pleasant than Raiden himself, if I may say so. I do hope Raiden doesn’t behave like a cad towards him and that the poor fellow can rehabilitate from all that. In any case, Shouta appears to be someone with quite a backstory, one of those who perhaps hasn’t had much luck in life. It’s a real shame, truly, it’s clear he’s been through a lot. Yet, he undoubtedly exudes resilience; you can tell from a mile off that he’s the type who, once he hits rock bottom, can only go up, up, and keep climbing until he reaches the pinnacle. A peculiar and interesting character, to say the least, a living example that people can change, improve, and while they can’t alter their past, they can certainly work on their future:…

Back to the topic, Mr. Takeda undoubtedly seems like someone with potential, a compassionate, supportive, and kind leader; yet at the same time determined, strong, and resolute. I think it’s a splendid combination. On one hand, someone strong and resilient, but equally kind and compassionate; I don’t doubt his heart of gold. Moreover, I’ve heard he’s very protective of the lads who are his teammates. Could it be that he truly has those paternal vibes? How touching that would be! And well… HE’S ALSO AN ARTIST! "DAMN ANOTHER ISSEY!? And more importantly… WHY DID I GET THE ISSEY WITH THE FACE OF A SERIAL KILLER?! Seriously, THIS ISSEY IS A GEM! I reckon Genevieve bumped into him once and he helped her when she had one of her fatigue-episodes right in the middle of the street. So, If that is true I'm grateful to him for helping my Tiny Little Tea Cup! I’d love to chinwag more with him; he seems like an incredible person, with style, personality, charisma, and human decency. It’s heartening to see young innovators, creatives, who break the mould and go beyond, adding a splash of colour to this drab world. There’s no doubt that the heart and soul of the Aichi division is this lad! His presence, his charisma, his way of being… everything about him screams that he’s the character who brings the play to life, the one who, even without necessarily having the lead role, steals the show completely! I’m chuffed to bits to meet him!

Though something tells me that if this lad speaks to me, I’ll have to ask him to repeat everything slowly. He gives me the impression that he talks as if he’s running, as if he’s already rapping or doing a tongue twister. I need to work on this. I can’t show up to the competition without understanding what they’re saying because they speak too fast… Even so, I’d love to know this lad’s aspirations. I’ve heard he’s a barista, which is brilliant! I bet Kenichi would love to natter with him, maybe even share some of his own secrets in the field.

On another note, I admire his attitude. I understand how difficult it is to always try to keep a stiff upper lip and maintain spirits high. Sometimes it’s even stifling, frustrating, and lonely… Trying to understand everyone but no one understands you. Blimey… Well, maybe one day I can talk to him and see what’s really behind that mask of happiness. "SOMEONE ELSE FROM AFAR! Now we’re three: Jinwoo, this lad, and me. I absolutely love not being the only foreigner! He seems to be another talented chap. It fills me with joy to see so many young folks pushing forward and showcasing their talents. If I compare his aesthetics with Issey’s, he’s undoubtedly the opposite. This bloke reminds me more of our grumpy Issey, though he seems much more amiable. He’s got this dark, edgy vibe, but I get the impression he wouldn’t kill the vibe right off the bat. At least not as miserably as someone I know well –ahem–. And if he gets along so well with the other lad, there must be a reason. Perhaps behind that serious, sardonic, and apathetic exterior lies an incredible person to get to know.

Eiji has a very striking presence in his own way. He might be a man of few words, but I bet his actions speak volumes about him, the kind that express an incredible inner strength worthy of the accolades given to heroes of yore. I can’t wait to see him in action!

I wonder what his hobbies or interests are, what motivates him, and how his experience in Japan has been. I understand he spent a large part of his life in the United States. Perhaps one day I’ll visit those lands; my father says America is a very beautiful continent and that there are many things in the United States. It would be great to exchange anecdotes about these places. Does he miss any place? What was his life like there? What customs did they have? I could also tell him a bit about my homeland in Europe. Although I have bittersweet memories of England, I can’t hate it. On the other hand, my maternal family is scattered all over the UK, so I could tell him about those other places. Genevieve is Bernard's younger sister, a passionate young woman who, after the move, dreams of becoming an outstanding professional in the world of literature and art history, but more important to her is the simple fact of being able to live her life without so much fear. She is a tireless dreamer who wants to live her life to the fullest, despite being limited by painful memories of the past and a delicate health condition.

She moves with her brother in search of a new life. Her first days in Japan were a real culture shock and a period full of changes to which she had to adapt: a new country, the beginning of adulthood, living with formerly distant relatives, organizing her life in a new university and helping in the family business of her cousins and uncles. In addition, she was trying to gain more autonomy and not be so dependent on her brother. However, her determination soon paid off. The change of country allowed her to free herself a little from the traumatic events of the past and begin to open up a little more to the world. This sense of freedom led her to make a couple of close friends at her new university and to take charge of the small bar area in the family compound, creating a unique and themed space where people not only enjoyed what the hosts offer, but also good music.

Since she was a child, Genevieve showed a special affinity for the arts. She took singing and piano lessons, as they were among the few activities she could do without compromising her health. Together, they faced the challenges of their day-to-day lives by supporting each other every step of the way.

As a band, they maintained an excellent dynamic and Genevieve enjoyed learning alongside them. With Raiden she usually shares casual chats and she also used to lecture him as much as Bernard does; besides, she enjoys seeing his work as a tattoo artist and having him explain the process of each of his pieces. As for Issey, from the beginning there was a visible chemistry between the two, although Genevieve is much more sincere with her feelings than he is. They went from being just “bandmates”, as Issey used to say, to becoming great friends and then a sort of informal love affair, waiting to make it official for good.

What made Genevieve most happy about having formed the band is that they all felt like a family, not a perfect one of course, but one that knows how to find balance.
