how do they feel about living in sol city? have they always lived there or did they travel from another settlement? aidan has lived in sol city for his whole life! he does know that there are definitely a fair amount of problems within the city and certainly wishes to help improve things or do something to create positive change. then there’s always the classic allure of adventure, seeing what some of the wider world has to offer. that being said, home can be where the heart is - and there will always be a soft spot in aidan’s heart for sol city.

do they trust the council's leadership? why or why not? to put it simply, aidan tentatively trusts them. he wants to believe in them, to have hope they will right any wrongs or at least not screw things up further. he can only imagine how much pressure is on their shoulders yet he unfortunately would not be surprised if things achieved new, never-before-seen levels of fucked up.

if they chose their sector and profession, why did they make that choice? if they didn't, why not? were they happy with their assignment or not? yes, aidan chose both and he remains happy with his decision to this day. he did feel a calling towards a few different ideas - all of them related to aiding people or protection in some fashion - but landed on security escort in large part thanks to the capabilities of his mutation and the various applications that could be useful either on an ordinary day or under special circumstances.

what's one object that they always keep on their person? a small, golden heart pin that he either keeps pinned to a shirt or jacket collar or sleeve. it was a gift from his mother, a literal homage to his heart of gold as well as her encouragement to not be afraid to wear it on his sleeve while also treating it with care.

what can your character do? what are their strengths? to be written!! keep checking back! i’ll get this up as soon as possible!

what can't they do? what are their weaknesses? first and foremost, aidan does require an atmosphere as a medium to make things happen. no atmosphere, no weather manipulation. second, the weather can definitely be tied to his emotions. he’s been working on it and it’s decreased bit by bit as he gets older, gets a little more in tune with his emotions and feelings and how to manage them if necessary yet there are still moments where things get overwhelming and whoops, there’s a downpour. third is generating certain events can be taxing physically and he can usually only do one at a time. it helps if he has atmospheric conditions to build off of, but if he’s working on something from scratch then it can take a lot of energy and focus, leading to headaches or fainting as well as a mild generally unwell feeling in the days that follow if he overextended himself.

is there anything else you'd like to specify about them? when it comes to his physical mutation, he has a natural light blue streak of hair. it’s nothing that a box of hair dye can’t cover up whenever aidan has the energy and time to mess with it.
