Checking his new phone, Aiden stepped out of the way of the doors to Tea Break and sighed. He was feeling...out of sorts today. Not for any particular reason. Life was-- itâd been great lately. He had a girlfriend, one who couldnât get enough of him and vice versa. He had a new direction, his eyes set on making more of himself in this town than being another human being struggling to function. Not that he judged anyone that was. It was fucking hard. But he didnât wanna just exist here anymore. If he was staying, he wanted to grow, to thrive, or something akin to it. And he had family...one of which, wanted nothing to do with him, but he wasnât giving up on that. And the other? She was late, but he couldnât chastise her for it. Heâd texted her out of the blue and though he could help the burn growing in his chest, he knew he couldnât expect her to drop everything and come running.
He paced, hand grazing the spot with a sigh, hating that his shoulders felt so heavy. He couldâve gone to Cordelia, snuggled up in her lap and let her fingertips flit through his hair until the feeling faded, but somehow this just-- it felt different. It wasnât hers or anyoneâs problem to handle. Itâd fade...but until then, he wanted to catch up with Ryleigh, see how she was feeling. Their conversation about Laney hadnât been great. It wasnât a blow out by any means, but it left him feeling awkward and he thought some coffee flavored bubble tea might help smooth some things over. It wasnât long before he saw a wispy blonde in the distance and he pushed off the planter he found himself leaning against and waved slightly, âHey there, hummingbird,â he said the moment she was within ear shot. The burn in his chest seemed to knot, urging him to resist any physical contact, but he snagged a short hug anyway, âA friend recommended this place. Figured we could try something new. Whatâdâya think?â @ryleighmeadowsâ

adelina-riveraâ:
âFuuuck!â Adelina groaned, turning back swiftly to catch the city bus shut its doors behind her. The driver had put it in gear, ready to head off. She could see the massive tires starting to turn. âWait! No, wait!â She shouted, smacking the side of the bus, metal stinging her hand. She could hear a boy tell the bus driver that she had been calling out and when he braked, she ran back in, found her store keys and jingled them in the air as she passed the driver again. âForgot themâŚthird time this week, I know, sorry.â
It was already ten minutes past her shift and she could almost feel her managerâs mouth teeming with his usual shit about âsetting an exampleâ and âthe rest of your co-workers are counting on youâ. He should try having a sick and potentially dying mother at home that needed to be cared for on a constant basis (as much as she hated thinking of her mother dying, she had been mentally preparing herself for the worst for three months now). Luckily, she was the first person on the evening shift it seemed.
Throwing on a milk-stained apron she found abandoned in the back of house, she took over supervisor position from the afternoon shift and started filling out delegated tasks to that nightâs employees in the handbook and once again, she noticed all of the afternoon tasks werenât completedâŚleaving it all on her and her team that night. âNo, que jodienda,â she muttered, placing the book by one of the registers. âHold onâŚAmira!â She called out to the previous shift who was making her way out the door suspiciously quick.
Amira turned and sighed heavily. âYes, Adelina?â âHow are you gonna leave me with this mess again?? Didnât we talk about this at the meeting? I canât keep picking up after your shit.â Adelina could sense customers watching the two but she didnât care. âIt was busy! You know how it is, kids get out of school and raid the store with a bunch of orders!â âAnd what about us? Weâre busy at night too. We also get lines out the door but I still manage to get shit done!â âLook, Iâm late for my dance rehearsal, we can talk about this over text.â And with that, she walked out, leaving Adelina with her mouth slightly agape, turning to look at her team, who all stood, watching. She shook her head. âI canât with her. Sorry yâall but itâs gonna be a long night, apparently. Tony, youâre on bar, everyone justâŚclean, get things stocked. Iâll take the orders.â She tied the owner-less apron behind her back and removed a sharpie from its left pocket. Her eyes met the next customer in line, she smiled and gave her usual, automatic greeting.
âHi, how are you? What can I get for you today?â
Aiden watched the scene play out, his normally more hollow eyes looking fresher and more focused than they usually were when he came in. Mainly because it wasnât the crack of dawn and sleep was actually becoming a regular thing. It was hard to believe, even for him, but he felt pretty fucking good these days. Enough to be present for Linaâs little spat and he canât help but tilt his head as he steps up, a smirk lining his features as he looks from her to the door. âSounds like someoneâs havin a rough evenin already,â he replies, pretending to glance at the menu in order to avoid the wrath of anyone behind him. There was a person, maybe two, so he didnât feel too guilty about holding things up a bit. âFor what itâs worth, I canât blame ya. Iâd be pissed too.â
He hummed to himself before pulling his eyes back to hers. âCan I get my usual?â he asked, already fishing for his wallet. âBlack coffee and a surprise slice of pieâ Heâd been coming to Sunset Cafe since he moved to town two years ago and while heâd made time to try the other coffee shops and diners in the area, he always came back here. It generally had good ambience, quiet enough to get some writing done, and if things like this had been going on the last few weeks, heâd been oblivious to it. Maybe due to his usual morning visits or you know-- heâd been too tired to notice. Still, he always tried to be somewhat friendly with staff, Adelina being one despite the only coming sporadically during her shifts.Â
âHowâre you doin today, other than the obvious?â

cordeliamaeveismsâ:
Her entire body had been on fire, bursting into flames under his very touch as his tongue to work its magic, causing her to tighten her to let her fingers slip from between the strands, opting instead to bundle the sheets in her hands as her back arches slightly off her bed, trying her best to keep his eyes on him though they begged to roll to the back of her head. Blunt nails digging into soft skin, the vibrations against the sensitive bundle of nerves as he speaks is her undoing. *Surrender. Dear god, she was sure she would never hear anything sexier for the rest of her years to come. Then again, Aiden was someone whoâd seemingly continued to surprised her â sheâd made a mental note that jesus, that tongue did far more than just speak beautiful words. Cordelia let legs relax in his grasp, trying her best to let her body unravel, though she found it hard as she edged toward her peak. âNever fucking stop, Aiden. Jesus, I didnât think I could love yer mouth more,â she whimpers out, a loud moan chasing her words. Her stomach tightens her toes tingling the further he ventures, the more her jaw clenched, the ability to form coherent sentences escaping her completely as knees begin to buckle, and she canât help but keep his gaze, let him know what heâs doing to her with every drag of his tongue, lapping up her juices as they leak out, her breath heaving as her nails embed their prints on the surface of the sheets, leaving their marks into the delicate fabric.Â
âI-Iâm,â the words come out strained, almost begging him to push her over the edge of the mountain sheâd been climbing into a pool of a complete and total ecstasy. The word repeating like a scratched CD in the back of her mind. Surrender. So, thatâs what sheâd do. Â âIâm so close baby, please, keep going. Iâm fucking begging you, finish me off.â Pale flesh lifts of the mattress, her back arching as her head presses into the pillow, eyes lifting to the ceiling, a desperate attempt to regain any of the control sheâd lost, though it fell mute with the next words thatâs passed through her lips without a second thought. âGod, I want you inside of me, right fucking now.â
Every word that dripped spurred him forward, the heat coiling behind his navel rushing south and fuck-- he never wanted or needed her more. He can feel her tensing, no doubt growing closer and closer to climax with every second and the thought of her coming undone on his tongue alone? He might've unraveled, but lucky for them both, his endurance was something he prided himself on. He could do this all fucking night especially with the show she was giving him, their eyes still connected, though he could see each wave of pleasure cross her features. It's not until her back arches that they finally break and his eyes and chin tip down, his nose grazing her clit as he slips further, the tip of his tongue circling her core. She curses, eliciting a deeper moan, and he doesn't question as he sits up and quickly shoves off the last bit of his clothing, allowing his hardened cock to spring free and a sense of fleeting relief to wash over him. Every bit of his being was screaming to obey her, to take her right now, no fucking hesitation, but he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand, coating it with the remainder of her juices as he kissed back up her figure, his chest heaving as he fought to catch some semblance of breath.Â
He didn't move slow-- fuck, he couldn't bear it but as he met her lips, capturing them  he used his free hand to position himself and his other to shift her hips, making sure the angle was comfortable. "As you wish, Princess," he teases against her lips, pressing his hips forward, pushing the tip of his cock inside of her. She's so tight, he has to remind himself to breathe and he's groaning, his nails digging further at the pressure from just the fucking tip. His jaw clenches, resisting the urge to just thrust and bury himself in her warmth as he kisses her again, "Fuckin hell, Cordelia, you feel so fucking good..." he murmurs, letting her adjust to him, before sinking further.

marisolalvarezismssâ:
It was a slow day. Having finished up a few big events over the course of the past week and still having some time before any more of their new big events were suppose to take place, Sol had mainly spent her day going over a few more details, adding more inspiration to her shared Pinterest boards, checking to see if she had any new prospective clients, and such. Hearing from her receptionist through her com that Aiden was here brought a bright smile to her face. Sure, they werenât clingy or anything, but she was beginning to miss him. Putting her things away and leaving her office, she happily headed his way. âAiden! What a pleasant surprise!â She engulfed the much taller man in a hug, standing on her tippy-toes to place a kiss on his cheek. As she pulled back, she took his hands in hers and smiled brightly. She was extremely affectionate with those she considers being close to, always wanting to make sure that they knew how much she cared for them. âWhatâs the occasion? I know that it hasnât been that long since we last saw each other, but it certainly felt like a long time. Iâm so happy to see you!â
A smile lit his face as he heard her voice and he stood up on reflex, bracing for a hug. They had always been an affectionate pair, which Aiden had come to accept no matter how gruff he felt at times he was always a touchy feely guy, so he expected nothing less than her arms wrapping around him and vice versa. Even the kiss on the cheek was an innocent thing and though he was here to discuss some new boundaries, he didnât think that should be added. It was a weird feeling, really, having to dissect your relationship with someone and sort of cut out pieces that no longer fit. So far one was left completely mangled...so much so, he wasnât sure he and Ellie would come back from it. He doubted he and Solâs would suffer as much...but it didnât change the difficulty. If he wanted Cordelia to be comfortable with his friendships, it had to be done. She trusted him, yes, but that didnât mean he could conduct business as usual at least not with Sol.
âHey there, gorgeous,â he said giving her a squeeze before releasing, their hands linked, âIâm thinkin lunch? It ainât been long but surprisingly Iâve got a lot to catch you up on. Lifeâs been kinda a rollercoaster lately and Iâm just hittin a bit of a plateau. So whatâdâya say? Wanna grab a bite with me?âÂ

enzo-ghamoâ:
âeh, i donât really go around boasting about it, but iâm one of those people whoâd be verbally attacked because i prefer it over coffee.â people these days were coffee crazy, especially with starbucks and dunkin, which he could never understand. âwell thereâs tea break a few blocks over that has good bubble tea, if theyâre up that alley. i think they have hot teas too, but for hot i just stick with the grind.âÂ
listening to aidenâs mild catch up, he canât help himself from the slight shocked expression. âsounds like a soap opera plot. but at least you made it out, right?â at his question, though, enzo lets out light laugh.âis that a trick question? i mean i practically live here, man. but go on.âÂ
âYeah, I donât blame ya. Feels like coffeeâs a religion for some of these folk,â he said with a chuckle, already picturing his sisterâs face now, her nose scrunched in disbelief. Did she like tea? Fuck, he was failing at this active listener thing. âbubble tea, huh? that actually sound up my sisterâs alley. I swear as much as I love Dayton, it gets kinda stale if youâre not blowing your money on blow and clubs,â he chuckled again, flipping through his notebook to find his notes.
They were...jumbled to say the least. His headspace, even after Cordeliaâs surprise visit had been anything but linear. He had bits of blog posts, poems, laments, and ideas scattered in the margins, along the sides-- at one point he had even turned the thing upside down. Talk about evidence of a mental break. âFucking barely, it was hellish but yeah-- Iâm intact,â Aiden said rotating his journal, before looking up and around their little nook toward the stacks then back to Enzo. âHey, with the week Iâve had? I dun wanna make any assumptions. But Iâve noticed this place has been slow for a bookstore and you know, in general lately. I mean, I like my peace and quiet as much as the next bibliophile...but I dunno. Iâve been getting a stinkin suspicion things might be goin rough, what do you think?â

hiatus update; putting it all on the table
hey all ! So today is my last day of hiatus and while iâm not generally open to the public about my mental state, Iâm trying to be more open about how Iâm feeling especially when it involves other people. So Iâll be back posting today, Iâve already got all of Aidenâs queued and Iâll be working on the others.Â
For the last few days Iâve been prepping/trying to reconnect and catch up with people and the on-goings here, but itâs been a struggle. The thought of just writing yesterday and in the few hours iâve been up have made me feel anxious to the point I had to stop and will myself to relax. I want to push through whatever it is, because I do love this group. So things may seem slow going or flat. Just know itâs not that Iâm not into it or Iâm being apathetic about things on purpose. Itâs something I hope to work on in the next few days. Hopefully itâll pass but if not, I may have to step back and leave the group entirely. Whichâll suck, but yeah, Iâd rather do that than hog face claims and slow down plots.
So yeah, thatâs where I am right now. Thanks for yaâlls patience and I hope to get in the groove again soon.Â
Till then and to anyone reading, I APPRECIATE YOU and remember

sylvialopezâ:
the door to the g spot opened with a chime. sylvia had been convinced that she needed this pretty silver butt plug that they were sold out of the last time she had wandered in here, unable to stop herself from imagining using it. it had been sitting in a glass display in the corner, a new arrival that had her wide eyed with wonder. shiny things that were a downfall for her, especially aesthetically pleasing and able to be used while camming. or maybe luca would be into it, but if not thereâd be a couple dozen others in this town to try it out with. sylviaâs day off was not like other peopleâs. no sweats, instead completely done up with a high ponytail and a beat to the gods face of makeup. no eye contact was made to the guy at the register, only a slide smirk at the girl stocking a shelf. her heels clicked while she moved to the back corner, pleased to see that what she had come for had been replenished.
the second to last person she expected to be in the g spot was aiden. last was cory, so it was only fitting. his voice was still mesmerizing, a southern gruffness to it. but it was smoother than normal and as soon as she turned her head to see him, she knew she was right. relaxed face, usual tired eyes clear. sylvia wondered if she liked him more with hallow looking eye sockets and erratic behavior. she sniffed and went back to admiring the silver and gem encrusted toy in itâs case while she spoke. âmy business is pleasure, iâm surprised you havenât put two and two together.â
knees bent down a little, grabbing a box from the new stock before turning a little to show it off. she was about to say something nasty, allude to how aiden should replace this butt plug with his own dick or something when she spotted something under his arm. small and able to be concealed, but sylvia used her free hand to pull the bottle of lube away from him. the refreshed nature? the boring choice of lubricant? oh yeah cory had given it up to his guy.
pretty nails made a clicking sound on the plastic of it while gripping the bottle, eyes moving from the lube to aiden and her lips twisting into an unmanageable grin. âholy shit, youâre getting laid. fucking finally. whatâs it like fucking a virgin? does she make you look her in the eyes while you both cum together? yâallâs kids are gonna be weird looking and buy twenty dollar grams i swear to fucking christ.â
âI mean-- I got that part. Suppose I just meant...â he trailed off, knowing better than to finish it. He had no business inquiring about what Sylvia did in her off hours. At least not anymore. Though his head tilted, admiring the way the light bounced off the silver and let his mind trail to Cordelia again. There were so many things, a whole fucking world of them to explore. They were at the starting line, but he filed it away as a maybe when he felt Sylvia snatch the bottle of oil from under his arm. He made no move to resist. There were much more embarrassing things he couldâve been caught with and chances are sheâd just chide him about being unimaginative and move on.Â
But the sound of her nails, combined with her momentâs pause...and that unsettling grin? He was wrong. So so wrong. âWhat do you mean finally?â he asked cocking an eyebrow at her before the questions began to roll, each word that spilled from her lips more confusing than the last. He hadnât seen her since the cafe, which despite feeling like a millennia ago was only what? Three or four weeks at best. There was no fucking way heâd told her, well-- any of this. âWait wait wait, back up-- how do you even...â It took a second for it to click. There was only one way and he found himself chuckling, his hand moving to rub the bridge of his nose. âThis town is way too fucking small. Please donât tell me youâve made out with her too, cause that would be down right unfair,â His hand drops and gestures for the bottle, âIf you know her, then we definitely canât be talkin about it. You should be able to get the details from her-- which...does she know that we, well itâs not like âweâ, more like I-- but fuck, this is a head fuck if there ever was one...â

olliedavisâ:
Since Ollie didnât even know what exactly it was that the other boy did, it wasnât really making the most sense to him. He wasnât about to admit it for fear of sounding stupid though he just nodded along to what was being said. They shook hands and Ollie couldnât help but feel like he made the right choice in sharing his real name. He knew how things worked at Plan B though, it was the same as any other strip club after all. âMaybe donât go around sharing my name with others though. Not everyone wants to know it with the best intentions in mind.â He didnât doubt Aiden knew what he meant and, for some reason, he trusted him not to get him in trouble but he felt better putting it out there. It put them all on the same page.Â
âSheâs one of the best at Plan B so Iâm not surprised at all. Actually, Iâm impressed you managed to hold it together. I know I wouldnât have been so lucky if I was in your place and I was into women at all.â He wasnât lying either. Ollie knew for a matter of fact that Plan B only employed the best so a dance from once of the strippers while drunk would make it hard for someone to control themselves. He aimed a cheeky wink the other boyâs way at the promise to request him. âIâll hold you to that.â Even though Ollie wasnât the kind of person to get embarrassed over his actions, he hadnât been expecting the whole town to find out about his threesome in the bathroom. Some part of him was proud about it, but it still felt a little weird seeing first hand how people who were not even with them that day knew all about it. Aidenâs description did get a good laugh out of him though. âI think the whole town was at that party. And yeah, I guess you could say that. Iâd say I would never do it again but it was fun. Hundred per cent recommend.âÂ
Aiden raised an eyebrow at his request? Statement? âNo problem. This ainât exactly my first rodeo. Youâre secret is safe with me,â he chuckled, âAt least until my book comes out. Then youâre kinda screwed,â It was a joke, besides anyone that read his writing knew he changed all the names. Were they good names? That was highly debatable, but at least they werenât the same.Â
âThat woman-- god,â he shook his head, quickly pushing her image from his head. As attractive as B-- Sylvia was, it wasnât gonna happen. Not with the way things were going with Cordelia and he was ok with that. âIâm sure you have the same effect, Iâll have to make sure I lay off the booze to be safe,â Aiden tossed him a playful wink back before giving in to taking a swig of his drink as he listened to Ollie laugh. As nice as the guyâs company was, it was starting to get late. Factor in a good clean scrub and heâd be pushing it quite a bit. Which...felt weird. Heâd never been beholden to anyone like this, let alone in such a short time. Not that Cordelia demanded it...he just...felt like it was the right thing. A few more minutes couldnât hurt too much though âI mean-- if I was, you gotta be right. Iâll have to mark it in my âMust Try Before I Settle Downâ list. Till then though, Iâll have to just live vicariously through you,â Aiden chuckles.

-laneymeadowsâ:
the same tedious music from plan b echoed in the background as oceanic hues stare down as the still unnamed contactâs number scrolls across her screen, and her finger is just hovering over the decline, begging to be pressed and itâs almost as if she were seventeen again, hesitant to hear the familiarized voice that beckons. she wants to click it closed, write see you when i see you.. but this is aiden, this was family, the same tugging at the heart when sheâd seen ryleigh, that sheâd thought died long ago . god, it really was her achilles fucking heel, wasnât it? the longing to forget, though she knows she never will, the life sheâs left behind is continuously following her about, knocking at her cold heartâs door, so instead her finger is turning to the green, a heavied sigh coming from her lips as she brought it to her ear, lashes fluttering shut the moment his voice rang strong, the same country draw, though now more matured, is still the same. the tone, the inflection, the god damned pain.
âthat makes one of us⌠like i said, youâve got 10 minutes. what do you want, aid?â
that makes one of us...
She wasnât pulling any blows, was she? Did she really have that much distaste from him? Or was it more than that now. After six years, he didnât know how much it could have festered...how much she could grow to hate their circumstances. To hate him. He could feel his chest ache, a dull pang shooting through with each heave, âFuck, Laney, thereâs a million and one things I want, but the main thing? I want to see you, I want to hash whatever this is out,â Because he honestly didnât understand. Not wanting the responsibility? Ok, fine. It wasnât as if he asked for it either. But just-- disappearing in the middle of the night... he had to clench his jaw, already feeling heat creeping up his neck before letting out a sigh. âAnd honestly? As much as I wanna know why, I know it doesnât matter. All that matters is what comes next...â

enzo-ghamoâ:Â
here enzo sat at his and aidenâs spot a bit hidden away in the bookshop. it was one of the only spots in there for genuine solitude, something he constantly craved. though this was his and aidenâs spot, he would often be found here without him too, using his bag on the seat across from him to refrain from having someone else sit with him. was it a bit selfish? maybe. but it would save whoever would think to sit there the awkward silence of enzo not wanting any sort of small talk. aiden was the only exception to this rule, primarily because they had some of the same passions. plus, he wasnât overbearing like some people in this town can tend to be. speak of the devil, there he was now, walking up to the table.Â
âhey man.â enzo nodded up to him, placing his bookmark in his book and folding it closed. âno problem, i wouldâve probably still been here even if you took an hour, so donât sweat.â he reassured him while putting his book away into his bag. âfine, nothing interesting, but iâm finally kind of.. adjusting to town, i think. iâm finding out what the more dormant hours of the town are compared to othersâ and good tea spots..â he trailed off, leaning back in his chair comfortably. âyou?âÂ
âthose hours are few and far between,â he chuckled, taking a swig from his cup as he settled in. âI never wouldâve pegged you for a tea guy though,â Not that he knew a lot about Enzo aside from his taste in literature, which was spot on. Tea had never been Aidenâs...well-- cup of tea, but as he placed his cup on the table he shrugged, âGot any recommendations? I might know someone whoâd find it interesting,â Did Cordelia like tea? God-- there was still so much to learn about so many people. His journals practically filled themselves.Â
reaching into his satchel, he hummed as he pulled on out, the cover a crisp black aside from a few lines were heâd rolled it back. âLast week was a gambit thatâs for sure,â he said with a soft chuckle. âBroke a heart and had a bit of a midlife crisis, but other than that, pretty solid. Actually have an idea, but I wanted your opinion...youâve been coming here quite a bit since you moved, yeah?â
