I would suggest an addendum to this proposal- the store should be arranged from hard/durable to soft/fragile. That way nothing gets crushed. All hard and durable items would be placed near the store entrance, thus being placed at the bottom of the cart/basket, and all softer/more fragile items could be placed on top. This is the optimum grocery arrangement.
