“What do you mean ‘we never had animals’? I have a dog, you could have just asked me for advice.” Aiden let out a sigh and shook his head at her. It was frustrating the hell out of him how he couldn’t stay mad at his sister, even though he really wanted to right now. “Let’s just get him out of your wardrobe, okay?”

“aiden!” she shouted, putting her hand over his mouth before he could give the male her phone number and glared at him. “my little brother is speaking the truth, i’m quite a dull person—totally not a catch.” the male opened his mouth to say something, but saskia kept talking. “actually, i don’t put out on the first date, or the second, or the third or the fo—you get the gist. in fact, i like to wait at least six months before having sex.” her words had the effect she expected, he scrambled to his feet murmuring something about a prior engagement and left. men were too easy. “you are the worst brother. you are supposed to protect me from creeps not set me up with one.” she removed her hand from his mouth and crossed her arms over her chest.

Aiden let out a loud, annoyed groan. “First off all, he wasn’t a creep. Sure, his flirting skills were fucking awful, but you have no room to judge anyone for that. Besides, he had a really nice ass to make up for the blandy mcblanderson personality so what does it even matter? Second off all, if you keep rejecting every guy you come across, you’ll never have some fun in your life. Seriously Sas, just because a guy isn’t the one, doesn’t mean he can’t be the one for right now. Just let loose every once in a while, would you? Life doesn’t have to be this fucking serious.” he rolled his eyes at her, knowing full well that she wasn’t going to listen to him anyways, but it didn’t stop him from trying. “So, what about that guy over there? The blonde? He has a pretty cute ass too, just saying.”

Ian stepped closer to Aiden, catching his shirt in both hands. “You might be a good lay, but don’t think for one second that I have no control over when I give in to you. I choose to have sex with you.” He let go of him and brushed his hands over his chest to flatten his shirt again. “I’ll go. I’d love to know when you hit your head to usher in this new change.”

“Oh my fucking god, are you always this difficult when someone asks you out on a date? No wonder that rarely fucking happens.” Aiden sighed loudly, rolling his eyes at Ian. Even his guilty conscience had it’s limits. ”There’s no change. Just doing my charity work again, is all. Anyways, I’m going to the coffee house. Join me or don’t, I already stopped caring.” Aiden turned his heels and walked off in the direction of the nearby coffee house, fully expecting Ian to follow him, even after his outburst.

“Oh, I highly doubt that.” he replied with an arrogant smirk plastered on his face, although it was frustrating the hell out of Aiden that he couldn’t prove it right now that it wouldn’t cost him any effort to convince Ian of having sex with him. “I do, that’s why I figured it would be okay to ask you out, princess.” Aiden teased, leaning forward to give Ian a short peck on the lips. “Yea, it’s a date. So, are you coming with me or not?”

He dropped the snowball from his right hand, but kept the one he was holding in his left hand hidden behind his back as he approached her. “I was just kidding. I know throwing snowballs at people is a dick move. However...” He feigned wanting to put an arm around her shoulders, only to dump the snowball on the back of her neck. “You look like you could use some refreshment, cousin.”

“You did what? Are you out of your damn mind, Tiny?? Who the hell locks a dog up in a wardrobe?” Aiden snapped, squinting his eyes at her. “Go get him out right now!”

“I bought a dog, but I’m keeping it hidden on my wardrobe because I’m afraid of my family doesn’t like it. But I found out I don’t know how to take care of animals and I think I can’t keep him hidden forever. He pooped on my favorite shirt!”

He raised a wary brow at him when he offered to buy him coffee. “What did you do?” Suspicion evident in his voice. “Or are you just trying to get me into my car again?”

“Please, like I have to buy you a cup of coffee to get into your pants.” Aiden snickered as he pulled Ian gently to his feet. “I didn’t do anything, shithead. Stop being so damn difficult and take advantage of the opportunity that’s being presented to you. You know that I rarely ask a guy out on a date. You should feel very privileged.”

Stretching his arms over his head, Aiden feigned a loud yawn. “Again, whining. How about you let your actions just speak for itself, bud? They speak louder than words, you know that, right?” he asked, letting out a condescending laugh. “And your actions right now aren’t necessarily making you look good. Standing here in front of me like a jackass, rolling your eyes and shaking your head dismissively at everything I say, being defensive as hell and worst of all, judging me and trying to compare your own shitty actions to mine and making it sound like mine are somehow worse than yours. I think if anyone needs to get off their high horse and get a reality check while he’s at it, it would be you, my friend.” he fired back. “But yes, as a matter of fact I did come here to have a good time, and it’s not my fault you’d rather spend your time being an asshole to me instead of doing your job and fix my car. I should seriously talk to your boss about that.”

Whatever I supposedly did to my sister can’t be worse than what you did to my sister, so please, let’s not rehash any of that. Wouldn’t want to embarrass you any further than you’ve already embarrassed yourself.” Aiden lips broke into a sly smile. “Goddamn it, Elijah... Just lighten the fuck up already. I came here to have a good time, and honestly I’m feeling very attacked right now. Is this how you treat all your customers? Perhaps I should have a word with your boss about that.”
