Stress Relieved
Its been a long time when we go in this wonderful place.  I have been to a lot of travels and adventures and I think this is one of the best. The Mt. Pamitinan. We go in this because we have a vlog in our subject Filipino sa Piling Larangan and refresh also. I guess everyone will come to a point in your life that you will just give up, but it is never too late to do it again and I think this is the place where all positivity are here.
After completing registration and paying for the fees, you’ll be introduced to your guide.  A few steps away from the DENR office is a hanging bridge over Wawa River in Sitio Nino. Across this bridge is the jump-off point where you can do your last minute preparations before starting the climb.
The start of the hike consists of steep stone steps that end at a mountain stream. This initial part is already challenging, but the trail just gets steeper along the while. Past the stream begins muddy trails and boulders you’ll have to get through. This then transitions to very steep, almost vertical slopes that you need to climb. Footing is pretty easy to find because of the natural topography of the mountain, but rocks are sharp and rough.
Wherever you decide to end your climb, you get a 360-degree view of the province. At the north is Hapunang Banoi, and Mt. Arayat in the distance, which is another popular mountain in a different province. To the northeast is the Sierra Madre Mountain Range, stretching all the way to the south. Much closer is the waters of Wawa Dam and Mt. Binacayan to the west. If you start early enough, you might even catch the sunrise among the sea of clouds at the summit.
I remembered what my classmate said to me when I want to give up that time because Im so tired and thirsty that ‘when you’re afraid but you still do it anyway, that’s brave.” because I had a lot of realization that comes in mind that never give up, never lose hope, and never be weary in every challenges that we have because the best thing in our life is you try and try and the result is succeed.

Milco

                                    MILLENIALS ARE MILLENIALS
ARE MILLENNIALS THE FUTURE OF OUR COUNTRY?
Millennial.” You may have seen it in social media or heard it on TV. You’re puzzled, clueless as to what this word means. In the Philippines, Filipino millennials or “Fillennials” is now a thing. Let us tell you who “millennials” are, what do they do, and why they are called as such.
Millennials are consisted of people born from 1980 to 2000. In America, they are the biggest age grouping in history. Made up of mostly teens and 20-somethings, these are the people who are already in college and part of the workforce. However, every country has a different millennial grouping. Simply put, they’re the Generation Y. It was authors William Strauss and Neil Howe who are credited for naming the “millennials.”
Millennials in the Philippines are described as those who are social media-dependent and also, the “selfie” generation. Many things describe what a millennial is. Millennials in the Philippines are known to usually spend for luxury goods which leave their bank accounts shaken the reason why they are also described as “broke.” Millennials are also described as narcissist, making them known as the “Me, Me, Me Generation.” However, there are also good attitudes which millennials possess: being politically and socially-engaged. Compared to other generations, millennials have their say about issues and are more involved with politics.
When it comes to entertainment, Millennials in the Philippines are usually seen spending time online, watching YouTube videos. Millennials usually have the latest apps, watch the latest TV series, and are into the latest hits. Millennials in the Philippines do not usually read newspapers. Instead, they have Google for information or Waze for road directions.
Another set of description that best fits millennials are upbeat, lazy, narcissistic, materialistic, self-expressive, fun-loving and liberal. They also have a short attention span. But if you talk to them about the things that interest them they’re really one to talk.
Aside from the age difference, Millennials have their own personalities. When Millennials were babies, technology was already available. Millennials are usually the ones to try new technology, making them a target of many businesses for their products. They want to travel abroad yet again making them a target for travel-related goods.
They’re also known to be career-shifters, jumping from one field to another, seeing making career as “self-discovery.” Millennials are characterized in different identities. Who they are on Facebook may not necessarily be who they are in real life, on Instagram, or on Twitter. Diversity is what makes a millennial and they have different versions of themselves depending on what they want to show the world.
Millenials are millenials, they are the future of our country. We have to believe in the best of this generation, and be confident that they indeed will be the hope to help lead our country into better days.
If we let them know firsthand that we believe in them. And what a brand new day that will be because from an empowered generation, we can expect nothing less.

                                                 INSPIRATION
IT’S NOT ABOUT HOW MUCH YOU DO, BUT HOW MUCH LOVE YOU PUT  INTO WHAT YOU DO THAT COUNTS -MOTHER TERESA.
There are many people in this world that we consider great person in the century like Albert Einstein, Mahatma Gandhi, Adolf Hitler, Nelson Mandela, and etc. That has a lot contributions in this world. But as Humss student I chose Mother Teresa as a great person in the century. And about her quotation its explain her life story.
Mother Teresa became nun at the early age to serve the mankind in sorrow and suffering, helpless and downtrodden people, the orphans, homeless and hungry.
She was born on 26th August, 1910. She was Albanian by birth. As she did not marry, she dedicated herself for the cause of humanity on earth poorly born, poorly fed up and even left out to die of hunger and thirst.
At 12 she felt the call of Almighty God to come up and to dedicate her whole life for the needy people of the society who were born but were left uncared for no fault of them.
At 18 she left home and joined the charity of Loreto, an Irish community of nuns with missionary in India. After due training in Dublin she was deputed to India where she took her first vows as a nun on May 24th. 1931 in Calcutta now renamed as Kolkata.
She heard the call from her soul to set up the Missionary of Charity in Kolkata in 1946. She became the citizen of India in 1948 just after 1947 when India got freedom.
She established the missionary of Charity in 1950 in Kolkata. She was awarded the decree of Praise by the Pope of the Roman Catholic Church of Vatican City in 1965.
She was bestowed upon the highest award the “Peace Nobel Prize” in 1979 for the outstanding service to humanity.
She was bestowed the highest civilian award “Bharat Ratna” by the President of India in 1980.
And now after 19 years of her death, she is awarded the most prestigious “title” today on “4th September 2016” as Saint by head of the Roman Catholic Church of Vatican City – Pope Francis in presence of millions and millions people of the world who love her, respect her, honour her, pay heart – felt homage and over and above pray to God for the rest of her soul in eternal peace.
She started the charity of missionaries on October 7, 1950 just after 3 years when India got freedom on 15th. August 1947.
The charities’ first and foremost work was to look after those who had none to care them.
She searched everywhere in the whole city and outside even such children who had none to take care of them in wretched condition. She arranged to bring them in her charity homes and looked after them with sheer love and affection. She got aids, co-operation and assistance from all over the world. The local and central governments of India came forward to help her for cause of the downtrodden people of the society. She organised the missionary, worked sincerely and effectively that in a few years its branches spread all over the world.
She was awarded and honoured by the premiers of many countries including India for her selfless services to mankind.
She got the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979 for the work undertaken in the struggle to overcome poverty and distress, which also constitutes a threat to peace.
She left for heavenly abode on 5th. September 1997 in Kolkata, India.
Now and then I see her in the white sari with blue border and with sparkling smile on her lips as if she were none but an angel marching step by step towards an orphan baby … in order to take on her lap… She is none but Saint Mother Teresa !
A man lives not in years but in deeds. Though she is no more, still she is alive in the hearts of the millions and millions people of the world for what she did for the cause of humanity.
I as a HUMSS students and fan to her for the selfless service to humanity in suffering and sorrow always remember her – so simply dressed in white sari in blue border and keeping the aanchal always over her head, her simple living with high thinking and love and kindness and over and above generosity all along whom she happened to see and serve heart and soul.

TREASURE
“Where do you live?
Typical questions that they always ask if they want to know me. Sometimes in our life we met someone that they don’t know who are we. They ask typical questions when someone are met. Of course I answered their question but not all. And I always answered Krus Na Ligas.
Barrio Krus Na Ligas is located next to the University of the Philippines campus at Diliman, Quezon City. Specifically situated within the southwestern skirt of the campus, it has a land area of about 250 square meters, 75% of which are croplands and the rest are residential lots based on a 1974 study.
There are several versions as to how Krus Na Ligas got its name. One of them, according to interviews with some officials of the barrio, reveal that like many places in the Philippines, it got its name from an incident that happened during the Spanish time.
One day, a Spanish soldier who was on a hunting spree asked a villager what the name of that place was. The villager, because of his limited knowledge of Spanish language , thought the Spaniard was asking for the name of a tree, a poison ivy, which he accidentally pointed at and which grew in a “cross formation” . The villager answered “Krus na Ligas”. Since that time the place was called Krus Na ligas and the villagers erected their church right on the very spot where the plant “Ligas” grew.
Barrio Krus Na Ligas had been under different administrative jurisdictions. Originally it was not a part of Quezon City. In her study, Mrs. Leonarda Favila it was said that said before the entire area became part of Quezon City in 1959, the barrio Krus Na Ligas was under the administrative jurisdiction of the towns of Marikina and Caloocan.
No official record is available about the barrio prior to 1948. The census in that year revealed that the barrio had 100 household heads with 590 members. Fifteen years later or in 1063, the number of homes had increased to 200 and the total population is 1,066 including 202 students. In 1972, the barrio census showed a tremendous rise in the population due to the influx of new residents. There are already 650 household heads and 3,908 household members including 659 students and the remaining 60 percent were the original residents.
The only school in the barrio is the Krus Na Ligas Elementary School. It is a stable institution which contributes to the cultural and social progress of the barrio and its residents. It has helped to minimize juvenile delinquency, reduce illiteracy and improve the socio economic conditions of the people not in the barrio but the surrounding communities as well.
For years the barrio had been claimed by the University of the Philippines as part of its 450 hectare campus. Ownership has been a constant source of friction between the University and the residents. The latter claims that they have been occupying the land long before the University of the Philippines transferred to Diliman and therefore owns the land. The University on the other hand, claims that the National Government awarded them the area when they moved to Quezon City in 1949. The issue was left unsettled. It was only when Dr. Onofre D. corpus assumed the U.P. presidency announced that he will give the residents of the barrio ownership of the land. In a meeting between Dr. Corpuz and Col. Jaime Venago, Administrator of the Presidential Assistance on Housing and Resettlements Administration (PAHRA), the former recommended that the PAHRA received the land and transfer the same in perpetuity to the residents on the basis of communal ownership. Communal ownership, according to Dr. Corpuz, will encourage cooperation in community development. This, too, “will ensure that the residents will never lose their land, except by sale to the government.
It was reported that Dr. Corpuz had already obtained the authority from the Board of Regents to return the land to the National Government so that his recommendation may be implemented. With this move, the future looks bright for the residents. “Leaders in the barrio”, have in fact interpreted the U.P. move as another proof of the government’s sincerity in its policy of welfare for the masses.
Krus na Ligas is like a treasure for me because it’s a gift that give. And has a lot of history that will never forget and lose.

PROUD TO BE A FILIPINO
  Piliin mo rin ang Pilipinas.
   Kapuluang kwintas ng Perlas.
   Piliin mo yakapin mo.
   Kayamanan nyang likas.
   Piliin mo ang Pilipinas.
There are so many beautiful places here in the Philippines like Luneta Park, Palawan, Cebu, Puerto Prinsesa, Boracay and etc. You will really enjoy the viewing the scenery. I assure you that you will appreciate  everything that you will see here. One of the best place here in the Philippines is the City of Smiles- Bacolod City.
Bacolod, city, Northwestern portion of the island of Negros, Philippines. On a coastal plaine  washed by Guimaras Strait, it lies opposite Guimaras Island and has been called the Philippine sugar capital because of its central location within the nation’s most important sugar-producing area. Bacolod’s growth began after 1800, when it was first used as a convenient gathering point for traffic bound for Iloilo, on the island of Panay. With subsequent development of the sugar plantations, it became Negros’ most populous urban area and a regional trade centre. Its outport, Pulupandan, is situated to the south along the main coastal highway and is an important fishing port.
The city’s rectangular street pattern is unusual among Philippine coastal communities. Bacolod is served by a major airport, the provincial hospital, and the private University of Negros Occidental-Recolestos (1941). The large provincial capitol building is set amid spacious landscaped grounds, and an old stone church and convent are in the central square. Imposing residences of wealthy planters are on the city’s outskirts.
Bacolod City is the capital city of Negros Occidental province in the Visayas region and is largest producer of sugar in the Philippines.Best things to do in, around 'city of smiles' Bacolod City is the MassKara Festival of Bacolod City goes into full swing in October, and with it a deluge of tourists and party-goers who want to experience the famous sea of smiling faces.
Also one of the best at Bacolod City is their food. Ask anyone what to do in Bacolod City and one of the first things they will tell you is to go on a food trip.
First stop for food tripping in Bacolod City should be to get a taste of real Bacolod chicken inasal in Manukan country, a street full of restaurants that offer various grilled dishes.
Authentic chicken inasal in Aida's, Manukan Country in Bacolod City.  Locals will quickly point to Aida's restaurant in the middle of Manukan country when you ask where's the best chicken inasal. It is always almost full of people even when it is not the lunch or dinner rush.Apart from chicken inasal, the seafood is also a must try with the shellfish being served in big bowls at affordable prices.
For dessert, the best place to go is to Calea Pastries & Coffee which has a mouthwatering array of sweets that can satisfy any hardcore foodie.
Visiting historic, cultural heritage sites.Among the more famous historic, cultural sites is The Ruins in Talisay City. Standing tall over a clean garden is the skeletal frame of an old mansion that was built during the Spanish colonial era but burned by guerilla forces under American command during World War II.
The majestic Ruins in Talisay City is visited by throngs of tourists every day in addition to the regular events bookings. The photogenic Ruins was inspired by Italian architecture and is now a highly popular venue for weddings, receptions, and other events.
Mambukal Hot Springs Resort in the municipality of Murcia has several pools including a sulfur dipping pool and a Japanese Ofuro that help in relaxing muscles and stimulating blood circulation.
The resort also has various amenities and activities like a spa, trekking to Mambukal's many waterfalls, a butterfly garden, and bat watching since the area is home to thousands of bats.
The boating lagoon in the Mambukal Hot Spring Resort allows for kayaks and rowboats to just float gently down the stream while inhaling the fresh air from the mountain forest.
Also the they have a festival, Masskara Festival that is annual celebration that symbolize of laugh and smile where Bacolod  is well known. The celebration is held every 3rd week of October.
In Bacolod City, not only their places, food are the best here also the people who living there. They are all cheerful. They love to smile and laugh so that Bacolod City called the CITY OF SMILES. Even though they are burdened  by problems, you wouldn’t notice it for they always laugh like they don’t have care in the world. They are also known as hospitable and friendly. Whether you’re tourist or fellow Filipino, we’ll surely welcome you warmly here in the Philippines.

I ACCEPT GOD IN MY LIFE
Romans 5:1
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us.
It was the most important decision that I had ever made. It has molded me into the person that I am today. It is the reason why I choose to live my life the way that I do. This one decision has given me a reason to hold on in times of struggle and turmoil.  It has allowed me to have unbelievable peace. It gives me hope in every negative things happened to me. There is no reason to think that you are alone. In His eyes were beautiful and wonderfully made. There is no reason to say that you’re not worth it. We deserve to love and to be loved.
I have given my life to Christ, and this has changed my life forever. The day I gave my life to Christ was the happiest day of my life. It was such a big moment for me as a teenager. For a while, I had been struggling with the decision to do so. Prior to this big step, whenever I thought I was ready to devote my life to Christ, something would stop me. It was as if something didn't want me to go forward with my decision. Something was holding me back with all of its strength. My focus would be taken off of God, and on to something else. There were times when my focus would be on all of my weaknesses. I always felt that there were too many things wrong with me and that I was completely incapable of committing myself. I felt as though I had been standing behind a locked gate, desiring to be on the other side, but not believing it to be possible. For a while, there had been no key available for me.
I knew that all I had to do was make this decision wholeheartedly, and then I would be where I wanted to be in life. Yet, it was a fight between what I knew I needed to do and what I wanted to do. It was a battle between the flesh and the spirit. There were many times when my flesh would win the battles. I would do and say things that I knew I shouldn't have. I would lie to and disobey my parents. I would put down and ridicule others. However, even with all of the negative things that I would do, there was always a little voice that would always let me know that what I was doing was wrong.
When I accept Jesus Christ my relationship with God is based mainly on trust, love and respect, common values, time, and communication. Trust is a vital part the relationship between God and myself. I am frequently confiding in Him about personal issues that I prefer not to talk about with others. Talking to God about personal matters is not hard for me to do because secrecy is important to me and I am certain that I do not have to worry about someone else finding out.               I trust and accept God and his beliefs, as well as the Bible. They are a considerable part of my life at home and at school. The Bible tells us to do what is right, and I trust that doing the right thing is the best thing for me to do. I have trust in God that He will guide me to do what is best.  My trust in God is received by the trust God has in me. The main example of God's trust in me is His allowing me to have free will and rein over my life. He lets chart my own decisions in life and trusts that I will do what is right and follow his beliefs and teachings.               The love and respect I have for God, as well as His for me, helps build a better relationship. I show my love for god by making sacrifices. I am often sacrificing time to help my sibling witch homework, or being patient with my parents when they are busy. I also make the occasional large sacrifice such as giving part of my annual allowance to a charity. These things are done to show my love for God.
All in all God gives me chance to correct my entire mistake in the past. To do what is right and good. To know Him deeper. To think that he is always by my side. And to have an opportunity to serve Him with all my heart and my life.
