One of the most common love language people adhere is physical touch. A lot of people express their love to someone by expressing physical expressions and actions to their loved ones. For example, they enjoy being close to one another and prefer bodily communication such as holding hands and hugs. Similarly to the images above, it depicts a nonverbal expression of love to someone by giving them hugs. When I'm with my loved ones, one of the nonverbal actions I express is by hugging them. I'm not a clingy person, but hugs allowed me to express my love for someone in a way that made me feel like it is an endearment of a person whom I’m comfortable with, especially with my family and friends. For me, I believe in the saying “Action speaks louder then words”, because personally I believe that what you do is much more important than what you say. If I could relate it to my nonverbal love communication, I'd say that a hug can sometimes express more than words can. In the end, I believe that it is important to characterize people based on their actions so that their words won't deceive you.

Full Individual Women’s Rhythmic Gymnastics Replay from Rio 2016
Tumblr media
Court Dimensions:
The game consists of 12 x 12 meters of court measurement covering the performance area at the Olympic Arena in Rio De Janeiro.
Equipment:
As what I’ve observed during the match, the players in the first round used the hoops as their hand apparatus in performing. On the second round, the players used the balls as their hand apparatus in performing. The players on the third round used the clubs as their hand apparatus in performing. Lastly, the players on the final round used the ribbons as their hand apparatuses in performing.
Basic Skills:
There are nine basic skills in performing gymnastics, and these are the following:
·Handstand- The handstand is arguably the single most important skill and position in the sport of gymnastics. It’s the building block for essential skills on each of the four events.
·Cast- A cast is a basic skill on uneven bars in artistic gymnastics. Casting is the most basic bar element, and learning how to cast well early on will help you learn so many other skills.
·Splits- it is a physical position in which the legs are in line with each other and extended in opposite directions. Mastering side and middle splits will help you execute other skills that use that same shape as well in gymnastic.
·Handspring on vault- The handspring on vault is the basic skill that all upper-level vaults are based off of.
·Back Handspring- A back handspring is an important gymnastics skill to master because it is the basic skill used in back tumbling on floor and beam.
·Round-off- A roundoff is just as important as a back handspring to master for tumbling on floor. The roundoff gives power just like the back handspring does to the tumbling pass.
·Turn on one foot- The turn on 1 foot is a skill that doesn’t go away. It is required in every floor and beam routine gymnastics levels 4-10.
·Split Leap- split leap or split jump is a sequence of body movements in which a person assumes a split position after leaping or jumping from the floor, respectively, while still in the air.
·Tap Swings on Bars- Tap swings on bars, along with casts, are a building block of bar routines in all gymnastics levels. A tap swing is a swing on bars, but at the back of the swing you should “regrip.” This means you should come off the bar briefly and re-grab.
Technical and Tactical Skills:
To be effective in gymnastics, one must have a high level of technical and tactical skill. However, each gymnast's technique is influenced by their physical fitness, which includes strength, power, flexibility, and anaerobic ability. Mills, rotations, circles, throws, and a variety of asymmetric movements are combined with different basic body movements by the gymnasts. Also, I could say that every player has their own unique way of putting art in their performance, and I could say that all the competitors showed a creative and impressive production in showcasing their work.
Rules of the Game:
·No jewelry of any type can be worn.
·Hair must be tied away from the face at all times.
·No shoes are allowed on the gym floor. Bare feet or gymnastics shoes (i.e., beam shoes) are recommended.
·Girl’s attire: Gymnastics leotard or biketards only.
·Boy’s attire: T-shirt tucked into shorts or pants that are not too baggy.
Officiating the Sport:
The competition is first and foremost officiated with a coach, which I can observe in the video, is responsible for monitoring and enhancing performance by providing tuition, encouragement and constructive feedback to every player. Next, the competition is also officiated with a judge, who is responsible for ensuring laws and rules and is the one who makes a judgement on a performance. Lastly, the competition is officiated with a referee, who is responsible for understanding how the assessment (code of point) issued and assigned by FIG (Federation Internationale de Gymnastique), and is the one who make sure that the competition is played in a safe and fair manner.

Full Women’s Figure Skating Short Program | PyeongChang 2018
Tumblr media
Court Dimension:
The 2018 Winter Olympics' ladies' single figure skating competition was held at Gangneung Ice Arena in Gangneung, South Korea, with an Olympic-sized figure skating rink measuring 30m x 60m (98.4ft x 197ft).
Equipment:
I observed that there was not much equipment used in this sport, except the ice skates’ shoes of every player and their appropriate clothes.
Basic Skills:
Mastering the basic skills and abilities helps you to play and develop consistently. The basic skills of figure skating can be taught and practiced by anyone. Figure skaters must be able to glide, spin, turn, jump, hop, skip, and come to a complete stop. They must also work on their agility, balance, coordination, flexibility, and the speed that comes from explosive muscle "quickness."
Technical and Tactical Skills:
The technical and tactical skills of figure skating are: Skating Skills - Overall skating quality, including edge control and flow over the ice surface (edges, steps, turns, speed, etc.), clarity of technique and use of effortless power to accelerate and vary speed. And based on what I’ve observed, some of the competitors didn’t have a hard time with the movement and execution, but I could notice that some players would struggle, causing them to be out of the balance while performing. But nonetheless, I could say that all the competitors showed a creative and impressive production in showcasing their work.
Rules of the Game:
·The head should be carried in an upright position, relaxed and held naturally.
·The upper body should be upright but not stiff and not bent forward or to the side at the hips.
·The arms should be held gracefully.
·The hands should not be carried higher than the waist, the palms held easily, naturally and parallel to the ice.
·The fingers should neither be extended nor clenched.
·The skating leg should be flexed and the knee slightly bent.
·The free leg should be slightly bent at the knee, generally held over the tracing with the free foot not too close to the skating foot. When the free leg is temporarily in front of the skater its knee and ankle should be gracefully extended.
·The free foot should be carried slightly above the ice, the toe of the skate pointing downward and outward.
·Exaggerated and incorrect positions must be avoided.
Officiating the Sport:
As what I’ve observed to the officiator during the competition, the referees oversee the ice conditions, ensures overall control of the event, followed with the judge, who evaluates the quality of the skater’s performance. Overall, I could say that the officiators played an important role during the match as they ensure that the competition is conducted in a safe and fair manner.

Artistic Swimming - Full Team Event from Rio 2016
Tumblr media
Court Dimensions:
The match was held at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil with a pool dimension of at least 20m wide, 25m long and 3m deep.
Equipment:
I observed that there was not much equipment used during the artistic swimming match, except every team’s uniform swimming attires and also their nose plugs.
Basic Skills:
The athletes used different skills during the match, such as sculling and eggbeater which I find impressive for such young swimmers to learn especially the Egypt athletes. Sculling allows the athletes to maximize surface area for effective propulsion and lift, while the eggbeater is a skill which serves as to support the swimmers to remain stable in the water without swaying. And so far, I observed these skills at most of the athletes during the match.
Technical and Tactical Skills:
Based on my observation, all the competitors didn’t have a hard time with the movement execution while performing the artistic performance in the pool. Also, every team has different ways of putting art in their performance, and I could say that all the competitors showed a creative and impressive production in showcasing their work.
Rules of the Game:
*No Touching the Bottom. One of the aspects that adds to the show is that artistic swimmers are not permitted to enter the pool's bottom at any point during their routines.
*No Bling. While presentation is an essential aspect of artistic swimming, there are some limitations on what swimmers should wear. Artistic swimmers, for example, are not allowed to wear jewelry, theatrical make-up, or offensive costumes.
*No Goggles. Goggles are another limitation during artistic swimming routines. Swimmers competing in figure competitions, on the other hand, are allowed to wear them.
*Team means team. Teams usually have eight swimmers, but a team may have as few as four. And teams lose points for each swimmer that is not part of the full complement.
*Stick to the Schedule. Routines can range in length from two and a half to five minutes, depending on whether they are performed alone or in a group. Swimmers, on the other hand, are penalized if they take 15 seconds less or more than the time limit.
Officiating the Game:
Officiating Artistic Swimming requires the following:
Ø  Timekeeper- they are responsible to start, stop and record the exact times of knockouts, technical knockouts and to time the injury rehabilitation periods.
Ø  Referee- They explain and enforce rules, assess penalties, signal the start and end of the game, stop play for reviews as needed and inspect the sports’ equipment prior to the start of games.
Ø  Judge- they make a judgement on performance and often their decision will determine whether a group has won or not.
Ø  Scorer- they are responsible to accurately record a game's score. Each time a team scores one or more points, the scorekeeper must post the updated score on the scoreboard.

Monica Puig (PUR) vs Angelique Kerber (GER) - Women's Tennis Singles Final | Rio 2016 Replay
Tumblr media
Court Dimensions:
The standardized court dimensions for tennis singles matches is 23.77m long and 8.23 m wide.
 Equipment:
There isn't much used in this sport in terms of equipment. It conventionally needs a tennis court, racket, tennis ball, and comfortable clothes.
 Basic Skills:
The serve, forehand groundstroke, backhand groundstroke, forehand volley, backhand volley, and overhead smash are the six basic strokes that are used in all tennis games. The 6 basic "strokes" are the basic motions a tennis player makes to strike the ball. It was no longer my surprise that I’ve observed these basic skills in the video as these strategies were broadly used throughout the match.
 Technical and Tactical Skills:
Both teams, as far as I can tell, have different game strategies. However, I observed that the winning player broadly depends on a tactical decision to execute such action, particularly handling ball velocity and efficiency in cooperating the game causing her to thrive the breakthrough of the match. Although, I could say that the other player is good in movement and strokes which I could tell that she also did also a great job in the game.
 Rues of the Game:
§  A ball must land within bounds for play to continue; if a player hits the ball outside of bounds, this results in the loss of the point for them.
§  Players/teams cannot touch the net or posts or cross onto the opponent’s side.
§  Players/teams cannot carry the ball or catch it with the racquet.
§  Players cannot hit the ball twice.
§  Players must wait until the ball passes the net before they can return it.
§  A player that does not return a live ball before it bounces twice loses the point.
§  If the ball hits or touches the players, that counts as a penalty.
§  If the racquet leaves the hand or verbal abuse occurs, a penalty is given.
§  Any ball that bounces on the lines of boundary are considered good.
§  A serve must bounce first before the receiving player can return it.
 Officiating the Sport:
Tennis officials play a crucial role in maintaining a good flow in a match. The officiators in the sport are the Line Umpires, which is responsible for calling all shots relating to their assigned line. The Chair Umpires, which is responsible for calling the score in enforcing the rules and managing the players. The Community Official, which is responsible for monitoring a number of courts at a tournament and assisting a smooth running of an event. And lastly, the referees, which is responsible for supervising all aspects in the tournament.

Men’s Singles Table Tennis Final – Full Match | Rio 2016 Replays
Tumblr media
Court Dimensions:
Men’s Singles Table Tennis Final Match in Rio 2016 tournament has a court dimension of 9 ft. (2.74m) long, 5 ft. (1.525 m) wide and 2 ft. 6 inches (76 cm) high. The table used was made out of a variety of materials including: plywood, concrete, metal, and fiber glass. The court is divided into two equal parts for each player centered with a white line.
Equipment:
The general equipment’s I noticed that was used during the match includes the usual table used for table tennis, table tennis net, racquet or paddle, and a ping-pong ball. In addition, these are what I’ve noticed to the equipment’s used by the players:
Ma Long- He wore a red shirt with yellow lines that has a dragon design with it in the front. His name was imprinted in white text on the back. Also, I noticed he wore black shorts as well as comfortable socks and shoes.
Zhang Jike- He wore a black shirt that also has a dragon design with it in the front. His name was also imprinted in white text on the back. Also, I noticed that he also wore black shorts as well as comfortable socks and shoes.
Basic Skills:
Table tennis is a layered, dynamic game that involves a mixture of mental and physical techniques to master. Even the most difficult game, however, is based on the basis of basic skills that everyone can learn and practice to develop their game.
The following are the basic skills of table tennis:
·Forehead Drive- The forehand drive is the most basic and fundamental ping pong stroke. It responds to aggressive/attacking strokes by landing the ball near the opponent's baseline or sideline. To add strength to the ball with a forehand drive, it requires to rotate your upper body away from the ball and shift your weight to your back foot while pushing your arm straight back.
·Backhand Drive- The backhand drive is a forehand drive that is designed to return attacking shots and land the ball at the opponent's baseline. To execute a backhand drive, it requires to keep your stance angled toward the table with your free arm pointing toward the ball (rather than reaching with your arm).
·Backhand Push- Short balls are returned with the backhand drive, which stops the opponent from attacking. Instead of reaching to the side with your arm, as with the backhand drive, your body should be aligned with the ball.
·Forehand Push- The forehand push is often used to return short balls and defend against attacks. As with the forehand push, it requires to stand with your dominant foot slightly back and rotate your upper body to highlight the paddle's motion.
·Serving- The final basic skill is a table tennis serve, which is important because the serve is the only time you have full control of the ball and the game. There are several different types of serves, each with its own set of advantages and disadvantages, but the fundamentals remain the same.
Technical and Tactical Skills:
In playing table tennis, technical and tactics skills generally rely on three main skills: The ability to keep the ball in play. The ability to play the ball to certain areas of the table, and. The ability to apply pressure on your opponent by using different types and amounts of spin, and different speeds, in order to create openings and hit winning shots. Furthermore, I observe that these skills were obtained by both players in the match which helped them to properly corporate the game.
 Rules of the Game:
·Games are played to 11 points
·Alternate serves every two points
·Toss the ball straight up when serving
·The serve can land anywhere in singles
·Double serves must go right court to right court
·A serve that touches the net on the way over is a “Let”
·Alternate hitting in a doubles rally
·Volleys are not allowed
·If your hit bounces back over the net by itself it is your point
·Touching the ball with your paddle hand is allowed
·You may not touch the table with your non-paddle hand
·An “edge” ball bouncing off the horizontal table top surface is good
·Honor system applies to disagreements
 Officiating the Sport:
There are only two officials in table tennis, the referee and the umpire. The referee is responsible for the entire running of a table tennis event which includes supervising all the umpires, whereas umpires control individual matches and maintains standards in the play. Overall, the officiators played an important role during the match as they ensure that the competition is conducted in a safe and fair manner.

Figure skating, sport in which ice skaters, singly or in pairs, perform freestyle movements of jumps, spins, lifts, and footwork in a graceful manner. Its name derives from the patterns (or figures) skaters make on the ice, an element that was a major part of the sport until recently.
Court Dimensions:
The ISU prefers Olympic-sized rinks for figure skating competitions, particularly for major events. Olympic-sized rinks have a dimension of 30 m × 60 m (98.4 ft × 197 ft). Venue is in ice rinks, there should be a very-quality clean and even ice, which is achieved by special equipment, and its unevenness error should not exceed 0.50 cm.
Equipment:
·Properly-fitted skates- a type of ice skate having a long, narrow blade with a serrated edge at the front, used in figure skating.
·Elbow Pads- are protective padded gear worn on the elbows to protect them against injury during a fall or a strike.
·Gloves- Protective gloves are designed with a thin layer of leather over the palm and fingers, padding to protect the outside of the hands, and reinforcement to prevent thumbs from being bent backward.
·Wrist Guards- is designed to keep your wrist from breaking. Also, in skating it is possible to encounter the so called 'bone-crushing force'. Wrist guards are designed for people skating on concrete so that the so called 'bone crushing' rarely applies to skaters.
Basic Skills:
Basic Skills teaches the fundamentals of ice skating and provides the best foundation for figure skating, hockey and speed skating. Six progressive levels introduce forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers and turns. Upon completion of the Basic Skills 1-6 levels, skaters will be able to confidently advance to more specialized areas of skating.
·Basic 1
A. Sit on ice and stand up
B. March forward across the ice
C. Forward two-foot glide
D. Dip
E. Forward swizzles (6-8 in a row)
F. Backward wiggles (6-8 in a row)
G. Snowplow stop
H. Rocking horse (2–3)
I. Two-foot hop in place (optional)
·Basic 2
A. Forward one foot glides (R and L)
B. Backward two-foot glide
C. Backward swizzles (6–8 in a row)
D. Two-foot turn from forward to backward in place
E. Moving snowplow stop
F. Forward alternating half swizzle pumps, in a straight line (slalom-like pattern)
 ·Basic 3
A. Forward stroking, showing correct use of blade
B. Forward half swizzle pumps on a circle (6–8 consecutive clockwise and counterclockwise)
C. Moving forward to backward two-foot turn (clockwise and counterclockwise)
D. Backward one-foot glides (R and L)
E. Forward slalom
F. Two-foot spin (up to two revolutions)
 ·Basic 4
A. Forward outside edge on a circle (R and L)
B. Forward inside edge on a circle (R and L)
C. Forward crossovers, clockwise and counterclockwise
D. Forward outside three-turn, R and L from a stand-still position
E. Backward half swizzle pumps on a circle, clockwise and counterclockwise
F. Backward stroking
G. Backward snowplow stop (R and L)
 ·Basic 5
A. Backward outside edge on a circle (R and L)
B. Backward inside edge on a circle (R and L)
C. Backward crossovers, clockwise and counterclockwise
D. Beginning one-foot spin
E. Hockey stop
F. Side toe hop (both directions)
·Basic 6
A. Forward inside three-turn (R and L from a standstill position)
B. Moving backward to forward two-foot turn on a circle, clockwise and counterclockwise
C. T-stop (R or L)
D. Bunny hop
E. Forward spiral on a straight line (R or L)
F. Forward lunge (R or L)
Technical and Tactical Skills:
Figure skaters need to be able to glide, spin, turn, jump, hop, skip, and stop. They also need to develop agility, balance, coordination, flexibility, and the speed that comes from the explosive “quickness” of muscles. Skating as a sport is not different than any other sport. Strength and conditioning are important in training as for any athlete. That training can be performed as part of group training (which is much less expensive) or individually depending on time and financial constraints as well as the availability of appropriate supervision. Essentially, skaters receive two sets of scores or marks: the technical score is based on the difficulty and execution of the technical elements, things like jumps or spins, and the program component score is based on the more creative artistry, style, and presentation. These two categories of scores are then combined to create a skater's total score. This can mean that the judges value difficulty — or at least attempting difficult moves — over things like style, but there are caps on how many difficult moves a skater can add to their routine.
Rules of the Game:
1.) The head should be carried in an upright position, relaxed and held naturally.
2.) The upper body should be upright but not stiff and not bent forward or to the side at the hips.
3.) The arms should be held gracefully.
4.) The hands should not be carried higher than the waist, the palms held easily, naturally and parallel to the ice.
5.) The fingers should neither be extended nor clenched.
6.) The skating leg should be flexed and the knee slightly bent.
7.) The free leg should be slightly bent at the knee, generally held over the tracing with the free foot not too close to the skating foot. When the free leg is temporarily in front of the skater its knee and ankle should be gracefully extended.
8.) The free foot should be carried slightly above the ice, the toe of the skate pointing downward and outward.
9.) Exaggerated and incorrect positions must be avoided.
Officiator of the Sport:
·Referee- Runs the judging panel and is in overall control of the event.
·Judge- evaluates the quality of the skater’s performance.
·Technical Specialist- Identifies and calls the program elements as per ISU guidelines.
·Data Specialists- are the individuals responsible for calculating the marks awarded by the judges and tabulating the final result.

Are contemporary people too much reliant on technology?
Technology has continued to evolve in society over the years. As technology progresses, the society undeniably is becoming more reliant on the advancement of technological environment which proves that through time, technology has changed the public. The way people communicate, and the way educators operate in schools especially these times of pandemic where online classes had been fully overhauled, rays a reason where contemporary people is dependent in technology - with the significant role of cellular devices, iPads, computers, and, most significantly, the internet. These technologies have slowly taken an essential part in people’s day-to-day lives and being without them would be unimaginable for some of us.
The way technology has altered social interactions among people is one of the large-scale impacts the machine has had on society. Due to computers and the internet, relationships between individuals have changed. Author Robert Kling proposes that “the ways that people work and communicate via computer networks destabilize many conventional social strategies."  Before the advancement of technology, these types of interactions would only have been possible from face-to-face meetings, but because of the rise, it has blurred these boundaries.
However, technology won’t stop here, but develop further. As technology develops, there are not only advantages, but disadvantages from them. One disadvantage is that as technology develops, robots and machines will take over many jobs and people possibly will lose jobs by contrast. As people lose their jobs, they will have hard time getting money which would make it hard for them to continue to meet living expenses.

Speech One: Nelson Mandela’s speech in accordance with speech purpose were Informative and Persuasive. He undeniably achieve the purpose of informing his audience his speech about Freedom and Justice noticing the audience impact he received while sharing his speech. And in terms of the manner of his delivery, he was speaking from a manuscript throughout his whole lecture, but still tries to link with his audience by glancing at them from time to time.
Speech Two: Emma Watson’s speech in accordance with speech purpose was persuasive in the part where she deliberately advocated to fight for gender equality. It was also informative at the same time in a way that she addressed the topic about feminism. Especially when she said “Fighting for Women rights has too often become synonymous with man-hating", that line struck me the most for it is literal that women were ever inferior than man. Lastly, the manner of her speech delivery was Extemporaneous speech which I liked about since she was just lowkey sharing her talk spontaneously.
Speech Three: Darren Tay’s speech in accordance with speech purpose was persuasive in the part where he straightforwardly addressed a lecture about bullying, to defeat them by facing and acknowledging its presence. He was able to achieve the purpose of his speech since Tay, as a speaker rays a connection to his audience and for me it is because of his engaging personality. Also, it shows a purpose of entertainment since he shares constructive jokes related to his topic. And in terms of the manner of his delivery, it was a memorized speech since he shared his talk without the support of a manuscript.

Walter Cronkite, a late American broadcast journalist served as an anchorman for CBS Evening News for 19 years. Upon searching frequent reports, Cronkite caught my attention because of his transparency outlook as a professional, working on a critic. In other words, he doesn’t show any bias at all and generally pays attention to honest details, that’s why I strongly agree that he deserves the title “The most trusted man in America” during his present times. It was with his great courage, integrity and commitment in conveying fair reporting which established him to account the title. He also carries excellent communication skills which increases engagement to the viewers or listeners to believe his words and also provides clarity towards his statements.  I let my mother observe one of his past short reports and first thing that she said is that, he has a pleasing personality which rays a connection with him, as a speaker towards his audience or listeners, and she also observed that he has a clear diction which I firmly agree.
As for me, I didn’t observe some unlikable traits about Cronkite instead, I have so much respect to him being so dedicated and virtuous to his career. To end, I just want to share a saying that he said during an interview, “Our job is only to hold up the mirror - to tell and show the public what has happened.” With this, it is undeniable that he truly is a great example of a sincere and reliable reporter, which is rare nowadays.

SYNOPSIS
The story of The King’s Speech circulates about how King George VI or Bertie struggles and overcomes his speech stammering problem. Primarily, the story begins with his traumatic experience when he held a speech at the British Empire Exhibition. He failed to share his speech at the ceremony for his stutters overlaps which causes disrupted words to prolong. With the help of his wife Queen Elizabeth, they tried to find various speech therapists to help him get rid his problem, but results to come up nothing. Until they decide to try one last time with Lionel Logue. At first Bertie was hesitant and feeling apathetic, for his mindset was lock in with thoughts that it would be impossible for him to heal, but soon realized that little by little he began to notice some improvements. This has been they’re daily practice for curing Bertie’s speech problem. A horrendous news arises when Bertie’s father, George V died and soon passed the throne to his brother, Edward VIII, but later on abdicated, failed to undertake the responsibility of the throne for he was condemned for marrying the American divorcee, Wallis Simpson. Eventually, the title was named by Bertie after the incident and he was assigned to share a speech as a new face in the throne.  Fear and Pressure was the limelight of his emotions.  Day by day the speech therapist, Lionel Logue helped King George VI to overcome his stammer and finally reached the outburst of his success when he triumphantly delivered his speech.
ANALYSIS
It was then valued with clue that King George VI faced downfalls of misfortune fighting his speech problem at the same time give impression to the crowd as a King. His biggest challenge was to fight his emotional trauma that psychologically caused him to adapt the nature of stuttering. With this, he struggles to communicate clearly with anyone which made him and his wife desperately see various of speech therapist but unfortunately nothing good happens until, he met Lionel Logue who truly supported and guided him throughout his healing process from his speech disorder. With this, they both struggled with their downfalls and then later on celebrates their breakthrough when he successfully delivered his speech as a King in a large crowd. The character of Lionel Logue played a great role in nurturing Bertie’s oneself to overcome his stammer, later then an extraordinary friendship develops between the two men. After watching the King’s Speech, it reminded me of a line in It’s Okay Not to be Okay kdrama series stating that: “The one that torments you, can also be the one to save you.” Relating this to the movie, this line reminds me the immense struggles and breakdowns of George VI as he goes through the uncertainty process of healing and how he valiantly get through it. The movie taught me that sometimes, in the problem itself, there we can find our desirous solution. The choice is just within ourselves whether we let that problem torment us or not. All we just need is to steep a deep courage to overcome it, and believing that all struggles though will pass.
The movie highlighted how communication played a crucial function in interacting others verbally or not. Throughout the story, it shows an underlying understanding between the joined progress of a royalty with a speech problem and an unmedically trained therapist as the medium to resolve the king’s lifelong problem with the great help of communication. He overcome his fear of public speaking for he believed that fear is nothing more than an obstacle that stands in the way of progress. Thus, it made him persist stronger and wiser as a king to passionately share the world about how he deserves to be heard, for he is a man with a voice.

Passion wrapped with dignity
After watching the TedTalk of Jimmy Nelson talking about the art of communication, I’ve observed a lot from his speech, first from what I observed from his gestures,or body language. I observed that the way he portray the speech is that, he uses not just his voice to communicate but also his gestures, to intent the emotions that he wants to share with his listeners. For me, his body language- his simple hand gestures, movements and facial expressions was what made his speech expressive which made me not get bored and catch his attention. On the other hand, what I’d observed from what he was talking about is that, he uses tones of voice in portraying his message. Example, when he was sharing a part where he was anxiously with a group of people with different language, where each of them don’t understand each other, his tone while deliberating sharing about that part was that, you can feel his immense struggle and that you can feel that he is his utterly feeling distraught in that part, but that didn’t made as a hindrance in pursuing his goal.
I can’t imagine myself being in a bundle of strangers with language barrier and staying in a unfamiliar place. But Jimmy Nelson’s speech made me realize that no matter how each of our culture is diverse to others, we can still acknowledge each other through our emotions. Also, just by listening to him I can say that he is fully dedicated in his passion not just for photography or documenting his experience, but he is also eager in knowing the beauty in others culture. And of course, by watching his preciously captured pictures, I can say that those pictures tells a lot that the viewers didn’t see- the efforts, the journey, the patience in taking those shots. And for me, the part where he meets new people in a new environment for him is what matters the most, because just like what he said at the part end of his speech:
“Until you truly let go, until you truly form humility, you can find empathy and in that empathy you find contact and in that contact you find out who you truly are, and who the people are around you.”

This Is the Sacay’s Model of Communication, 2020 which is personally deeply deliberated by Aila Sacay. I made this process of communication model as straightforward and precise as it can be for it to be clearly understood just by examining the model.
First, it starts with a source which is where someone or something came from or get from a certain topic or message began, then it is gotten by the declaimer who voice outs the message to someone, then through channel the message is being transmitted by a medium or line by the help of communication to transmit data from one person to another. The person who receives the message from the declaimer by the use of channel is the addressee, who is addressed directly for the message or is to whom the message is. Lastly, the reaction which is the response of the action taken of the topic or message. As simple as that, it defines the communication process of two people to convey data.
As a summarize, the Model of Communication is a visual presentation of how a two-way process of conveying thoughts and ideas are transmitted with the helpful use of shared communication, and the Sacay’s Model of Communication is one of the example that shows the process of how one individual communicates to another.
