A post I never got to publish-
I believed and sought out for someone to love me the way I wanted them to. But see- thats the biggest mistake a person could make because reality will not hand you a companion that easily. From the day we are born, we are taught to be happy- to live a happy life- and with happiness we are taught to create expectations. But what happens when expectations are broken? Disappointment. What happens when we are disappointed? Depression, negativity, and so on. We wish our children and significant others happiness when happiness will not teach but ground our minds without work.
Happiness is one sided. Only capturing the intense perfection and desires of the future. Settling a life that we have not lived. We ought to be striving to teach not tell. We ought to be human; thriving on the basic ideals of ethics, logic and, most importantly, emotion. We can control our morals, and judgements, but can humans control their emotions? That assumption is indefinite. We cannot foresee what lay ahead of us, but we can learn from what is behind us.
Human: unpredictable, yet absorbent.
Without acknowledging all the faults, we may never learn to be happy. Happiness is nothing without humanness.
