The curtains are woven with the very special environmentally friendly yarns, the original curtain hooks are made from plastic that we collected at the beach. Those are very unique curtains with our new concept as if a children's book has been turned into curtains to decorate your windows. The stories of the curtains are all about enviromental issues and animals 🌏🐢🐦‍⬛🪼🌱✨by aiMIKI written in English.

新たな、メガネ拭き👓にも携帯拭き📱にも使える、

理想的なサイズのハンドタオルに生まれ変わる。

💙父の日や❤️母の日を意識して、

子供たちが自分で特別な魔法の色鉛筆✍️で、

私がデザインした塗り絵に色を塗り、

その場で、その色鉛筆の風合いのままプリントして

持って帰れると言うワークショップです❣️

色鉛筆のテキストチャーのままプリントされると言う、

やってみたらすごく新しく✨😳可愛い色で感動しました。

世界的な衣料品の大量生産・大量廃棄問題の解決に取り組むため、昨年、官民一体となった福井県の衣料再生プロジェクト「ぐるぐるふくい」を立ち上げました。少しの不良やロス

で廃棄される服や生地を無駄にせず、

循環型の商品やライフスタイルを提案していくことで、繊維分

野を中心としたサーキュラーエコノミーを推進していきます。

I have been working with “GururuFukui”, a clothing revitalization project for the SDGs in Fukui.

I am honored because this is a field that I am extremely interested in!

I have been working on a project to turn mass-produced and printed cloth into magically pure white again.

The new, ideal-sized hand towels that can be used as both eyeglass wipes👓 and cell phone wipes📱,

and with Father's Day and ❤️ Mother's Day in mind,

children can color them with the magical color pencils ✍️, you can choose from 5 designs that

I designed. This workshop allows you to print them as you colored and take them home❣️

Thank you for watching NHK news my documentary about designing for the traditional craftsmanship in countryside in Japan. I was surprised to see my face while I’m talking with passion on tv. My friends often say “your eyeballs gonna pop out Ai!” When I’m too excited to talk, I understood why people say that now lol. I looked scary to myself! I wanna try to practice with cooler face with half closed eyes , but still passionate ❤️‍🔥from now on lol.😂

The Great Masters Series, started in 2017 by four string players from Fukui Prefecture (Yui Arai, Ryoko Arai, Megumi Kasagawa, and Yumi Matsutani), is a concert series that will be performed by those four musicians who are already active as professionals inside and outside of Japan, and will invite legendary guest artists for a single night of miraculous collaboration. I designed the GMS logo in 2018, and I designed the flyers and tickets for them since 2023, as I did also for this year. I've been good friends with the violinist Ryoko since our teenager kids were babies, and I am very happy and honored to be able to work with her, and such a talented group of professionals. As was the case with Mr. Kobayashi's harpsichord last year, this year I illustrated the scenes that came to me while listening to Ms. Imai's viola performance.

2017年に福井県出身の弦楽器奏者４名（荒井結・荒井亮子・笠川恵・松谷由美）が中心となりスタートしたGreat Masters Seriesとは、これまでにそれぞれが国内外で培ってこられたご経験とさまざまな演奏家との絆をもとに実現していくコンサートシリーズです。すでにプロとして国内外で音楽活動されているこの4人のミュージシャンが、毎回レジェンドのゲストアーティストをお呼びして、たった１夜の奇跡のコラボコンサートを起こす🌛✨このシリーズ。2018年にGMSのロゴデザインをさせて頂いて以来、2023年にはプロジェクトマネージャーの友廣みどりさんを通してチームメンバーに迎えて頂いて、昨年に引き続き、今年もチラシやチケットのデザインをさせて頂きました。バイオリニストの亮子ちゃんとは子どもが赤ちゃんの頃からのなが〜い信頼の仲で、こうして素晴らしい才能あふれるプロの方々と一緒に、楽しくお仕事をさせて頂けること、とても嬉しく光栄に思います。昨年の小林先生のチェンバロもそうでしたが、今年は今井先生のヴィオラの演奏を聞きながら、浮かんできた情景をイラストにしました✨🦋🌛💙💜💙✨

We challenged ourselves to develop an innovative picnic sheet that is lightweight, waterproof, machine washable, stylish, portable, can be carried anywhere even by small kids, can be zipped together in any number of pieces to change its size, and the packaging is part of the product for environmental protection, so there is no need to add unnecessary packaging materials when giving as a gift.

In Japan, most picnic sheets that are easy to wash are thin and cause pain in the buttocks after sitting for a long time. And those that are light and easy to carry are often of poor quality and disposable plastics, which is not good for the environment.

This picnic sheet, developed together with a long-established curtain manufacturer, can be washed in a household washing machine and its color does not fade even if exposed to the sun. So it will last more than 10 years. The top sheet can also be used as a tablecloth, and can be rolled up to create a stylish visual. When you have more family members or a large picnic, you can zip several of these sheets together to create a spacious area with no sand or stones in between.

We are very happy that our #moodrug series from @spoon.and.sugar_i were nominated in 2024!

This is the collaboration project of aiMIKI and @office_kazuma to make the newest products with the technology of the curtain manufacturing.

この度、私デザイナー aiMIKI(アイミキ）と福井県のカーテンメーカー株式会社カズマは、世界6５ヵ国が参加し、２０００点以上に及ぶエントリーの中から、優れたパッケージデザインを表彰する国際パッケージデザインコンテスト「ペントアワード 2024」 にて、

カズマオリジナルブランド「Spoon & Sugar（スプーンアンドシュガー）」から発売している「ムードラグシリーズ」のパッケージデザインにおいてノミネートされ、「公式栄誉」を受賞することができました。

表彰式（2024年1０月２５日）はロンドン市内マガジンロンドンで開催され、世界中から様々なブランド、デザインエージェンシー、学生、パッケージングの専門家が集まり、受賞作品を祝いました。

カズマの代表取締役社長　数馬亜季子氏とaiMIKIの二人で、トータル２週間のインドとイギリスでの新たなテキスタイル商品開発のための視察旅行をしたのち、ロンドンにて、授賞式に参列いたしました。

福井県のカーテンの製造・販売 株式会社カズマでは、原材料加工から販売までのすべてを自社のモノづくり品質で統一する『一貫生産販売体制』をとっています。

This Saturday and Sunday, it will be the #wakunicolohas market at #kanazusousakunomori which I had been designing their key visual, logos, flyers, posters, stickers, and other merchandise like towels and stationeries. The beautiful museum park will be more than 100 stores selling products that take the natural environment into consideration. 昨年に続いて、今年も春からキービジュアル、ロゴ、チラシ、ポスター、スケッチブックやマスキングテープ、シールなどの文房具、手ぬぐい、懐紙等のグッズなどなどたくさんデザインで、お手伝いさせていただきました。スタッフの方々の、自然環境に優しい生活、心が豊かになる時間と商品に出会える機会を提供することへの強い思いと信念を聞かせていただきながら一緒に二人三脚してきたので、この開催には私も胸が膨らみます🌱✨会場ではたくさんの地球にも優しい商品、おしゃれな品々、おいしいものもいっぱい並び、大人も子供も楽しめる工夫でいっぱいです。

The Pentawards is the worldwide 🌎packaging design competition, with over 2,000 entries from 62 countries every year. 700 of them were shortlisted for 2024. Our Spoon & Sugar “Mood Rug” (so functional picnic sheets)series was selected as one of the eight top designs in the world in the “Entertainment & Leisure” category! (It’s on the Pentaward website already.) We are a brand that is deeply committed to the environment, so it is extremely encouraging to be recognized by the Pentaward, which is deeply committed to environmental issues with the constant theme of “What can package design do for the environment?” 🌱🌱🌱✨In order to raise our spirits and go all out toward our next efforts, I plan to attend the GALA ceremony in London in October from Japan, together with the president of this brand! By the end of this month, we will start selling the new 5 designs for “Fukui Series” of those mood rugs! We will keep you posted! Please support us!

ペントアワードは毎年🌎世界６２カ国から２０００点以上の応募があり、その年のトップパッケージデザインが選ばれます。2024年はその中の７００点がノミネートされましたが、私たちSpoon & Sugarの「ムードラグ」シリーズが、「エンターテイメント＆レジャー部門」で世界で８つのトップデザインのうちの一つに、選ばれました！環境のことも深く考えながらものづくりをしているブランドだからこそ、「パッケージデザインが環境のためにできることはなにか」を常にテーマに掲げて環境問題🌱✨に深く取り組んでいるペントアワードに評価されたことは、とてもとても励みになります！気持ちを高めて、次の取り組みに向かって全力で進むためにも❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥10月のロンドンでの表彰式には、カーテンのカズマの数馬亜季子社長と共に、出席する予定です！

The degital magazine “NEWS Fukui”. I illustrated the cover for the issue of the end of August. My friend Tomo (Kiso) gave me this job. I was asked to illustrate the highest mountain Hino in our hometown Echizen, with the rice fields view of the end of summer. I see this mountain EVERYDAY, so beautiful. I enjoyed so much to draw my favorite nature in my town in my favorite season for my favorite friend. I don’t want summer to end yet though. Too short!

今回の8月末号は「デジタル版」なのですが、始めて表紙を写真ではなくイラストでいくということで、仲良しの木曽くんが私に声をかけてくれました！私にとっても毎日見ない日はない、学生時代から慣れ親しんだ地元の山「日野山」と、夏の終わりの故郷の景色をテーマに描いて欲しいということで。自分の大好きな地元の自然、大好きな友人との仕事、ということで、ワクワク嬉しい仕事になりました。木曽くんいつもありがとう！
