the whole "rap is too violent for me :(" line that tumblr users give would still be very lame and stupid even if we were still in the 90's heyday of gangsta rap, but it's an especially ludicrous excuse in the 2020's, when half of the rap songs are about seeing your therapist and having angst about your sexuality (no shade, I like doechii and lil nas x) which are subjects I feel most tumblr users can relate to.
