कौशलं बलम्

आजच्या यंत्र युगाचे मूळ औद्योगिक क्रांतीमध्ये व यंत्र निर्मितीमध्ये दडलेले आहे. ‘कौशलं बलम्’ अर्थात ‘कौशल्य हेच बळ’ हेच ब्रीद वाक्य अंगीकारून आपल्या औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षणाची उभारणी झाली आहे. आपल्या भारत देशाला युगानुयुगे हस्तकौशल्याची आगळीवेगळी परंपरा लाभली असून पुरातन मंदिरे, लेण्या, शिल्पे, भित्तिचित्रे हे आजही इतिहास साक्षी आहेत. हस्तकौशल्य/हस्तकला आपल्या भारतीयांच्या नसानसांत भिनलेली आहे, असे म्हणणे वावगे ठरणार नाही. जुन्या काळात यंत्रनिर्मिती वगैरे प्रकार आपल्यासाठी नवीन होता पण आज इतर विकसित देशांच्या तुलनेत भारताने औद्योगिक क्षेत्रात केलेली प्रगती ही लक्षणीय आहे. साधारण युरोपीय देशांमध्ये १७६० ते १८५० या कालखंडात औद्योगिक क्रांतीला सुरुवात झाली. भारतात मात्र औद्योगिक क्रांतीची मुहूर्तमेढ ही १८५४ च्या सुमारास मुंबईमधील एका सूतगिरणीपासून झाली. पुढे जाऊन भारतात पहिला लोह व पोलाद कारखाना जमशेदजी टाटा यांनी १९०७ मध्ये सुरू केला, हे आपण जाणतोच. दिवसेंदिवस, औद्योगिक क्षेत्राचे महत्त्व वाढत गेले आणि हळूहळू भारतातही औद्योगिकीकरणाला खऱ्या अर्थाने सुरुवात झाली. हे सर्व घडत असताना कारखान्यांना प्रशिक्षित मनुष्यबळाची आवश्यकता भासू लागली. त्याच कालावधीत भारताला इंग्रजांच्या गुलामगिरितून नुकतेच स्वातंत्र्य मिळाले होते. तत्कालीन सरकारला समाज साक्षरतेवर तसेच औद्योगिक क्षेत्रात प्रगती साधायची होती. म्हणूनच, Directorate General of Training (DGT) अंतर्गत १९५० साली ‘शिल्प कारागीर योजना’ अंमलात आणली. या योजनेचा मुख्य उद्देश कारखान्यांना प्रशिक्षित व कुशल कामगार देऊन सद्यस्थितील बेरोजगारीवर मात करणे, हा होता. शिल्प कारागीर योजनेंतर्गत औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थांमधून आज घडीला ६ महिने ते २ वर्षे इतका कालावधी असणारे १४९ प्रकारच्या अभ्यासक्रमांचे/कौशल्यांचे प्रशिक्षण दिले जाते. आज शिक्षणाचे कितीही पर्याय उपलब्ध झाले किंवा जग कितीही आधुनिक झाले तरीही या आधुनिकतेच्या निर्मितीसाठी लागणारा कामगार वर्ग हा या औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थांमधूनच तयार होणार आहे. आत्ताच्या नवीन NSQF (National Skill Qualification Framework) शिक्षण पद्धती व शासनाच्या नवीन शिक्षणिक धोरणामुळे बहू कौशल्यांचा पर्याय उपलब्ध झाला आहे. त्याचबरोबर उच्च शिक्षणाच्या संधीदेखील निर्माण झाल्या आहेत व उज्ज्वल भविष्यासाठी अनेक योगही आहेत. चांगला योग साध्य करण्यासाठी कर्मातील कौशल्याची गरज असते कारण “योग हेच कर्मातील कौशल्य आहे”, असे योगेश्वर श्रीकृष्णांनी श्रीमद् भगवद्गीतेच्या दुसऱ्या अध्यायातील पन्नासाव्या श्लोकात म्हणतात. जिथे स्वत: योगेश्वर श्रीकृष्ण जर आपल्याला कर्मसु कौशल्यम् असे सांगत असतील तर क्षेत्र कोणतेही असो ‘कौशलं बलम्’ या गोष्टीला पर्याय नाही. ‘बुद्धियुक्तो जहातीह उभे सुकृत���ुष्कृते । तस्माद्योगाय युज्यस्व योगः कर्मसु कौशलम् ॥इति॥’ या श्लोकात आपल्या ब्रीद वाक्याचा म्हणजेच ‘कौशलं बलम’ हा श्लोकांश समाविष्ट आहे. अशा पद्धतीने कौशल्यपूर्ण प्रशिक्षण देण्याचे काम औद्योगिक प्रशिक्षण संस्थांमधून होत आले असून आम्ही त्याचा एक भाग असल्याचा आम्हाला सार्थ अभिमान आहे.

इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंग म्हणजे इंजिनियर्सची भाषा!

तांत्रिक शिक्षणामध्ये सर्वात महत्त्वाचा विभाग म्हणजे अभियांत्रिकी आरेखन म्हणजेच इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंग. थोडक्यात, इंजिनिअरिंग ड्रॉइंग ही इंजिनियर्सची भाषा असते. भाषा म्हणजे आपल्या मनातील विचार, संकल्पना, भावना हे दुसऱ्या व्यक्तीपर्यंत पोहचविण्याचे साधन होय. मराठी, इंग्रजी, हिंदी अशा अनेक भाषा माध्यम म्हणून वापरल्या जातात; परंतु तांत्रिक शिक्षणात या भाषा उपयुक्त ठरत नाहीत. त्याऐवजी चित्रकला ही संकल्पना उपयोगात आणून एका व्यक्तीकडून विविध विचार अनेक व्यक्तींपर्यंत पोहचवणे सहजरित्या शक्य होते. म्हणूनच, अभियांत्रिकी क्षेत्रातील व्यक्तींसाठी आपल्या संकल्पनांचे किंवा विचारांचे व्यवस्थितपणे दृश्य स्वरूपात संक्रमण करण्यासाठी जी पद्धत शोधून काढली; त्या पद्धतीलाच ‘इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंग’ असे म्हणतात.

मोटारगाडी, रेल्वे, विमान, घडयाळ इ. प्रकारची अनेक यंत्रे तसेच या यंत्रांचे वेगवेगळे भाग निरनिराळ्या ठिकाणी तयार होतात. हे तयार करणाऱ्या कामगाराला/कारागिराला यंत्राची किंवा यंत्राच्या विशिष्ट भागांची माहिती तोंडी सांगणे शक्य आणि सोईचेही नसते. त्यामुळे अभियंता त्या यंत्राचे किंवा विशिष्ट भागांचे प्रमाणबद्ध चित्र काढून कामगाराला/कारागिराला देत असतो. प्रमाणबद्ध चित्रावरून कामगाराला/कारागिराला यंत्राची तसेच यंत्राच्या भागांची व्यवस्थित कल्पना येते आणि त्यातून निर्मिती सहज शक्य होते. याच कारणामुळे, अभियांत्रिकी क्षेत्रात यशस्वीरित्या काम करण्यासाठी प्रत्येकाला इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंग या विषयी सर्व ज्ञान असणे आवश्यक आहे.

साधारणत: इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंगमध्ये कुठल्याही यंत्राचे तसेच यंत्रांच्या वेगवेगळ्या भागांचे चित्र रेखाटून त्यात लांबी, रुंदी, उंची इत्यादिपासून ते वापरण्याची जागा, वापरला जाणारा धातू, रंग, वजन या सर्व बाबींची माहिती नमूद केलेली असते. त्यामुळेच यंत्रनिर्मिती प्रक्रिया व काही काळानंतर त्या यंत्राची दुरुस्ती करणे सहज शक्य होते. उदा. मोटार वाहनाची निर्मिती ते गॅरेजमध्ये होणारी दुरुस्ती त्याचबरोबर इलेक्ट्रिक/इलेक्ट्रॉनिक्स उपकरणे, हाऊस वायरिंग, पाणी पुरवठा/गॅस पुरवठा या सगळ्यांची निर्मिती प्रक्रिया व दुरुस्ती सहज होते.

औद्योगिक क्षेत्रातील उत्पादने निर्मितीचा वेग वाढविण्यात इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंगचा मोठा वाटा आहे. इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंगच्या माध्यमातून प्रत्येक यंत्राच्या तसेच यंत्राच्या वेगवेगळ्या भागांची निर्मिती प्रक्रिया, दुरुस्ती यामध्ये लागणारा वेळ कमी हो��न उत्पादन वाढीचा वेग वाढण्यास मदत झाली आहे.

वरील मांडलेल्या सर्व गोष्टींचा बारकाई अभ्यास व विचार केल्यास लक्षात येते, की इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंग एक महत्त्वाचा विषय असून त्याची इत्यंभूत माहिती व ज्ञान आपल्याकडे असणे आवश्यक आहे. इंजिनियरिंग ड्रॉइंग हा इंजिनियर्सचा आत्मा आहे, असे म्हणले तरी वावगे ठरणार नाही.

Herbal Antibiotics: A Natural Alternatives To Synthetic Ones.

Antibiotics is a medicine used mainly to treat or prevent any bacterial infections by inhibiting the growth of the bacteria or the microorganism. The most commonly used antibiotics are the cephalosporins antibiotic, penicillin antibiotics, tetracyclines and many more. The source of these antibiotics are mainly Fungal species. The related drugs of these antibiotics are then derived synthetically. For example, the Cephalosporin developed from Cephalosporin C. a product of Cephalosporium acreminium whereas Cephamycin are synthetic derivatives. These antibiotics mainly act by inhibiting the cell wall synthesis, inhibits the protein synthesis, inhibiting the nucleic acid synthesis and the metabolic pathways in bacteria.

However, the use of any antibiotic must be limited due to their possible toxic or harmful effects. These day-to-day antibiotics have resulted in drug resistant bacteria and some other micro-organisms evolving faster and making it hard to fight against them. The existing antibiotic drugs can be replaced with biomaterials such as herbal medicine with high antimicrobial, antiviral, and antioxidant activity.

With an ongoing trend, the population has inclined towards the herbal and plant derived medicine and products. The herbal medicines being less toxic and less harmful are a choice. A wide range of herbs and herbal extracts have been tested for their antimicrobial and antibacterial actions. Herbal medicines are found to be potent antibiotics. Herbs can be used in the form of plant extracts or as their active component’s. Herbal drugs like carvacrol, eugenol, cinnamaldehyde, thymol, terpenes are found to be potent antibacterial.

Other than these the day to day food ingredients are consumed as preventive antibiotics for example the garlic offers antibacterial potential against a wide range of bacteria and micro organisms. The other food items like the Honey, Ginger, Clove, Onion etc. are a good preventive antibacterials. The herbal antibiotics also do offers a advantage of being present in different dosage forms like the tablets, syrups, capsule etc.

Along with the antibiotic effect the herbs provides the antioxidant, anti-fungal, anti-viral, effects making them wide range herbal medicines. The herbal medicine offering non-toxicity, effectiveness, stability, and potency are a choice of use for use than the synthetics.

Research has shown that games are essential for the healthy development of a child. It helps them to find solutions to problems. For example, indoor games like chess demand greater focus, while board games like Scrabble boost vocabulary. A game of Snakes and Ladders teaches valuable time management skills. These activities are like mental gyms, strengthening concentration, problem-solving abilities, and cognitive skills.

सभोवतालच्या परिसरातून घडते विद्यार्थ्यांचे जीवनमान

मूल जन्माला येते तेव्हा त्याच्यावर सभोवतालच्या परिसराचा प्रभाव पडतो. आई-बाबा, आजी-आजोबा हा इतकाच त्याचा परिसर. मूल आपल्या कुटुंबातील लोकांचे निरीक्षण करत असते. जसे, की ते कसे बोलतात, कसे वागतात यावरूनच ते मूल बोलायला, वागायला शिकते.

जसजसे मूल मोठे होत जाते ते त्याच्या आजूबाजूला वावरणाऱ्या इतर लोकांमध्ये, मित्रांमध्ये मिसळू लागते. यातूनच आपुलकी, जिव्हाळा, प्रेम या गोष्टी ते शिकत जाते. सोबतच इतरांना मदत करणे, मोठ्यांचा आदर करणे, छोट्यांना आधार देणे अशा बऱ्याच गोष्टीही ते शिकत असते. परिसर त्याच्या आयुष्यातील दुसरा महत्त्वाचा घटक म्हणून अनेक नवनव्या गोष्टींची भर घालत असतो.

परिसरात वावरत असताना घरातील लोकांपेक्षा, त्याच्या आई-बाबांपेक्षा वेगळे वागणे, बोलणे मुलाच्या कानावर पडत असते. मग ते कधी चांगले तर कधी वाईट असते. या गोष्टींचा त्याच्या मनावर कसा परिणाम होतो, हे त्याच्यावर होत असलेल्या किंवा आई-बाबांकडून मिळणाऱ्या संस्कारांवर अवलंबून असते. यातूनच त्याची सामाजिक जडणघडणही व्हायला सुरुवात होते.

मुलाचा सर्वांगीण विकास होण्यासाठी त्याच्या जीवनात शाळा अत्यंत प्रभावशाली ठरते. शाळेमध्ये साजरे होणारे विविध दिन जसे, की स्वातंत्र्य दिन, प्रजासत्ताक दिन, महात्मा गांधी जयंती हे राष्ट्रीय सण साजरे केल्यामुळे त्याच्या मनामध्ये देशप्रेमाची भावना निर्माण होण्यास मदत होते. शिवजयंती उत्सव साजरी केल्यामुळे छत्रपती शिवाजी महाराजांचे आचार, विचार त्याच्या मनात प्रेरणा निर्माण करतात. तसेच वाचन प्रेरणा दिवस, शिक्षक दिन यामुळे साहजिकच मुलाला वाचनाची, अभ्यासाची गोडी लागते आणि शिक्षकांबद्दलची ओढही निर्माण होते. एखादे ध्येय ठरवून ध्येयापर्यंत पोहोचण्याचा मार्ग मिळावा, यासाठी या गोष्टी मुलांच्या जीवनात खूप महत्त्वाच्या भूमिका बजावतात.

शाळेमधूनच मुलांच्या शैक्ष��िक सहलींचे आयोजन केले जाते. यामध्ये गड किल्ल्यांना भेटी दिल्या जातात. या भेटींमधून ऐतिहासिक गोष्टींची माहिती मिळते तसेच निसर्गदर्शन घडते आणि त्यांच्या मनात निसर्गाबद्दलचे प्रेम वाढीस लागून त्याचे महत्त्व समजते. निसर्गाची काळजी कशी घ्यावी, पशुपक्षांची काळजी कशी घ्यावी हेही लक्षात येते. या सगळ्यांतून मुलांमध्ये एकात्मतेची भावना निर्माण होते.

एकंदरीत, वरील सर्वच गोष्टींचा सारासार विचार करता विद्यार्थ्यांच्या जीवनावर आजूबाजूच्या परिसराचा सकारात्मक प्रभाव पडत असतो.

When someone talks about discipline the immediate thought that runs across a brain is military. Immediately a picture of a military march past or drill stands in our brain and awestruck we say what a disciplined drill this is. Well, let’s define discipline. The dictionary or literal meaning of discipline is – “The discipline is training aimed at improving physical power, strengthening self-control, producing obedient people.” In simple words, it can be explained as doing what is told to us and strictly following or obeying the given instructions

Discipline isn’t some magical gene you get from your parents. It’s a skill you learn, just like riding a bike. And guess what? Everyone can learn it! It is an acquired quality. Every parent must inculcate in their child the quality called discipline.

Discipline isn’t about being a robot. It’s about having the willpower to do what you know is right, even when it’s tough. It’s about getting that extra push to finish your homework, even when your mind gets diverted to a new video game or instances like it. We all learn the most when we’re young. It’s like our brains are sponges, soaking up everything around us. That’s why parents have a big job when it comes to teaching their kids about discipline. Imagine a little kid learning things like – setting a bedtime routine, helping with chores, or practicing a musical instrument. These might seem like small things, but over time, they add up. They teach kids the value of hard work, sticking to a plan, and achieving their goals.

When you’re disciplined, you’re more likely to make healthy choices, stay out of trouble, and become a responsible citizen.
