my brother had a brilliant idea that i wanted to share with other people who have four-legged family members: he trained our two cats to go directly to the door when they hear the fire alarm.

obviously at first the fire alarm sent them scrambling for cover, but he started slowly by giving them treats whenever it went off, when someone burned food or forgot to open the fireplace flu. he then progressed to calling them to the door to offer treats immediately after the alarm went off. and it actually wasn't too long before the cats voluntarily started going to the door upon hearing the alarm.

i think this was genius because in the event of a real emergency we know exactly where the cats will be and we will not have to waste precious time trying to find them to rescue them. i think this method would work equally well with dogs and probably other free-roaming pets such as rabbits, ferrets, etc. and i certainly encourage others to give it a shot!

so i kind of got fucked over with the job i was counting on getting, they were fully planning on extending me a job offer this month and then the owner got an offer to sell the company and she took it. so i lost the job that i’ve been jumping through hoops for the past 2 months.

i’m continuously applying to new jobs but in the past 6 months i’ve applied to over 100 jobs and have only landed 2 interviews so i’m not really expecting finding anything soon. i’m running out of money and i have a lot of medical/insurance payments to keep up on

hi, my mother and I have been struggling just to live lately and we don't have money to make a car payment. we live in an area were we have to drive about 40-1hr to see our regular doctors and even longer since the planned parenthood that actually offers HRT that I go to is a lot farther away.

if my trans positive art or angel art or my art just in general has meant anything to you at all please consider helping me out.

i've been struggling so terribly for the past 2 or so years, isolated myself, currently have something that hasn't been diagnosed yet that gives me so much fatigue that getting up and just moving around skyrockets my heartrate that I need to go to a cardiologist sometime this month for, and i would like to still continue my transition cuz I just started and I was so excited to. it was the only highlight of this year...

URGENT, PLEASE READ: She has taken her last pill, we need help because we currently have nothing to get her meds for tomorrow morning, here’s photo with proof of the empty package:

I was able to take care of last month’s medication for my mom, but this month we are still stuck. We still need help. My grandma was the one helping us so I wouldn’t have to ebeg, but since she’s past away I’ve been stuck asking for help on here until my mom is approved for benefits. Please share this and boost this post if you can, it’s been a lot of stress to manage.

This coming month, we will need 500$ after coupons have already been applied- I have developed a friendship with the pharmacist and am working directly with them, they let me buy a few pills at a time for her and we have already applied coupons but it still results to this amount monthly. If anyone can help, share this or donate, it all helps with giving me hope that things will be fine in the end. I just can't wait until she won't need these pills come this summer, as she only needs them for one year.
