I don't know how to start this so I'll get right to the point:

Eric had a childhood friend, Sarah Davis who he was very fond of, they met in sixth grade when Eric lived in Plattsburgh, she was his first childhood girlfriend.... When Eric moved to Littleton they continued to keep in touch as friends through letters and emails.... She knew about the theft of the van and that Eric had gotten into trouble. She was a friend he really cared about.

Eric wrote an email that he never sent to Sarah, the day of the attack, and the fucking FBI did not allow her to read the email afterwards....

An email where Eric was most likely saying goodbye to her, to someone who was important to him..... An email that could say so much about how Eric felt....

And it's these things, that make me realize that every evidence of Eric showing his feelings, his humanity, the motherfuckers wanted to hide from the public eye... anything that humanized him: the email to Sarah, the Nixon tape, the tapes where Eric cries and apologizes to his old friends and his parents...

As if they wanted to create the image of Eric as a hopeless psychopath and leader of the attack... They hid anything that evidenced that Eric was the opposite because by doing this, by hiding all that, they deflect responsibility for their failures, such as the failure of the diversion program, the failure of eric's therapist who was a useless fuck...to give a couple of examples...

They cover up any trace of Eric's humanity, and thus give people the image of a psychopath for people to believe.... But the truth of who Eric was, that they tried to hide to the point that not many people know about Sarah Davis, and the email that Eric wrote to her but never sent.

She at least deserved to read that email and she wasn't even allowed to do that... It's really heartbreaking...

Unfair is the best word to define all this.
