Actually this scenario could also work with a Sanji who was born with his emotions, but they were also born with the capacity to love him to a degree. Hoarding his kindness and empathy for themselves only.

I'm just projecting my really for more Germa Sanji stuff.

Obessessing over Vinsmokecest for the past couple of days.

Like, a Germa Sanji who was born like his brothers but ended up gaining emotions anyway, who ends up leaving and is presumed dead for years?

His brothers would destroyed and they wouldn't be able to fully articulate why or even fully realise how, they just lost one of their own who was with them from birth and they cannot fully comprehend it since their emotions are very faint thanks to Judge.

Judge tells him Sanji was killed due to pirates and the brothers swear revenge against them and are ruthless to pirates. They somehow become even more feared and eventually they have to set their sight on the strawhats due to their notorioty and fame.

They don't think much of the blonde man named Sanji with a kick based martial arts. Afterall, their brother had black hair and was a swordsman. It isn't until much later, when Sanji slips up and becomes invisible in front of them, do they consider the possibility that could actually be their brother.

Maybe they pin him down and look for a brand, a sign that he is Germa owned like the rest of them. Maybe the capture him or test his DNA and confirm it scientifically that its actually him. Or maybe Sanji says too much and they watch him and notice how deep the similarities ran and are utterly convinced.

No matter what though, now that they are aware that Sanji is alive, they are going to do everything in their power to make sure he comes back and stays with them. They'll fix him even, make sure he regains his modifications and previous strength. Point is he is coming back with them.

Sanji is theirs, and no one is taking him away from them ever again.

ooh boy its been over a year since i last updated and i just reread my fics and want to continue it. But i need to write it.

Well, at least i have motivation now.

I have a soft spot for that niche shipcest dynamic where it's super toxic and abusive and the abusive one is absolutely overtaken by jealousy when they see their sibling/child/whoever genuinely happy with other people and they realize that that's what they wanted all along.

But even with that realization, they still have no idea how to actually treat the person they love kindly and have a healthy relationship with them so they just keep doing the same shit and continuing the same cycles and pushing their sibling/child/etc farther and farther away and all they can do is stew in their own jealousy, rage, and hopelessness.

I just like super unhealthy ships where at least one of the parties doesn't actually want things to be that way but has no idea how to break out of those toxic cycles and they don't want to risk losing what they have if they try to change anything.

That is to say that the Vinsmoke siblings are viciously, bitterly jealous seeing how happy and at ease Sanji is with his crew, so unlike how he is with his family, and they genuinely have no idea why they feel that way.

Just that specific scenario where a character thinks that they enjoy seeing the person they love hurt and crying, only to finally see them happy for once and realize that oh. It was never about the pain, they were just desperate for any sort of reaction, any indication that they occupied a space in that person's life, no matter how awful, and now all they want is to be able to make that person smile and laugh the way that others can.

But they're convinced that they've already gone too far, done too much harm to be ever be a positive force in the life of the person they love, and maybe they're right. So they just keep doing what's familiar because being hated and feared is better than being forgotten.

Zoro and luffy becoming extra possessive of sanji when they realize every pirate crew and even the marines seem infatuated with their cook

At first they thought it was amusing the heart pirates and the kid pirates were so eager to spend time with sanji, either talking or tasting his food, but then they noticed the side glances, the lingering touches every time sanji handed them a plate

With the g5 it was even worse, the marines seemed to forget sanji was pirate, all in favor of complimenting his food, his looks, his fighting style. They'd follow him like puppies, eager to shout a praise at every move sanji made

Their second intentions were obvious, but sanji seemed oblivious to them, being genuinely happy his abilities are being recognized and thanking them for the compliments, offering to cook for them again if they ever wished

Zoro and luffy could almost cry at that, how could a man be so kind and selfless??

But at the same time, they just couldn't stand it, they couldn't stand these filthy pirates and filthy marines ogling their precious cook like that

So they made it their mission to never leave sanji alone when in their presence, to always have a secure arm around his waist, to whisper praises against his ears before anyone else had the chance to, and to sneak in a kiss when sanji thought no one was looking

(I don't think you understand how much I think about zoro and luffy being possessive of sanji, I think they should growl at anyone that got too close to their cook)

Sighing wistfully. I think vinsmokecest redeemed Ichiji would still be very distant and very /minimally/ a touch-instagator when it comes to his siblings. Like in my head, yes obviously they're free from germa, live together, and are in a polycule. (Yes Sanji is in it too even though he lives with strawhats. 0124 just “”somehow”” and “”coincidentally”” appear on the same islands that he's on quite often. They ain't subtle. At all.)

But basically what i mean is while his siblings, coughYonjiespeciallycough, often show their love through kissing, hugging, and touching, i am a firm believer that Ichi's a gift giver/acts-of-servicer. This idea first started by me thinking how funny it'd be if any of 0234 said they wanted something super offhandedly (like.. Reiju half-heartedly mumbling about how pretty the earrings of that one noble woman back in that town two islands ago were) and then suddenly it's Ichiji's life mission to go Get That Damn Thing.

Reiju wants that pair of earrings? Ichiji is going back to that island and is killing that woman herself if she won't hand them over. Yonji suddenly really wants a trinket from a store halfway across the Grand Line?? Ichiji left 5 minutes ago to get it. Niji needs new goggles and the business that normally provides him with them comes from the south blue??? Mf Ichi's already scaling the red line. Sanji wants a certain spice that can only be found in the new world???? Ichiji's halfway to laughtale lookin for it.

Idk just. The idea of Ichiji dropping off the face of the earth and then showing up again after 2-5 business days of going awol only to have one of his partners wanted trinkets wrapped up in a cozy little gift is making me crazy. 0234 are concerned every time he's gone for too long (specifically Niji and Yonji, they got that Separation Anxiety) but everytime Ichi comes back with that smug, almost invisible smirk holding an item so small and meaningless to literally everyone but them, their hearts melt and they just /can't/ stop smothering him for the next day or so. And Ichiji just basks in it bc, while he's not one to advance with physical affection, i said nothin about him rejecting it :]

Can't Sleep, Can't Breathe chapter 4

Little extract from chapter 4

So, he stands there, on fire, as he quietly panics. Waving his arms wouldn’t work – its ghostly fire. Should he look up on the internet? But what if it melts the laptop? What if the fire spreads and everything burns down and he cant wake up his partner in time and Emmet comes back to ashes and smoke-

A chime broke him out of his thoughts. He turns to see Polaris stare horrified at him. Ingo stares looks around, worrying if the fire spread. Finding nothing, he turns to his partner, who just points back at him.

Oh right, he’s still on fire.

Ingo's and Polaris' interactions are proving to be my favourite to write, simply because they get up to some wild stuff when Emmet's not around.

Like Emmet decides it's time for Ingo to be home for a while and he's just Ah yes I have been feeling a bit overworked recently. Super idea.

Emmet locks him to the bed and he's like ??? A bit overkill but yes some bedrest will probably do me some good.

Not allowed outside? Ah, yeah it's the middle of winter and no one wants to be out in that weather anyway.

No/very limited contact with friends/anyone other than Emmet? He's just being thoughtful and letting Ingo get the rest he needs.

They are out and about and Emmet is very firmly holding Ingo's hand and not letting him stray. Yeah, big crowds. Neither of them do well so of course Emmet would want Ingo to stay close for both their sakes :)

Emmet is warning people off with very intimidating glares? That's alright, Ingo isn't feeling up to dealing with people today, how convenient they seem to be avoiding them :)

I dont know how it other writers handle titles, but nothing beats that pure excitement when you have a title for your fic or series of fic before and it fits perfectly.

Especially when you havent started writing so you dont deal with staring at an empty box wondering what you call your fic because you know from the beginning.

In the same vein as my drabble, I love the idea of a yandere Emmet whose behavior just bounces harmlessly off of Ingo. They're always on the same page, after all. Emmet wants to keep his brother by his side forever, tells him to never leave him again in an unhinged way and Ingo wipes away his tears and thinks it's adorable he's so worried. He never wanted to leave in the first place, Emmet, but he knows that if it happens again they'll find each other.

Emmet thinks about tying his brother to the bed so he can't leave? Ingo's already picked out a collar. It was about time for his mandatory vacation time, anyway. With Ingo being such an active participant, Emmet unchains him once the paranoia wears off a little. He misses fighting alongside his brother on the multitrain, anyway. And there's way too much paperwork for one person.

They trust each other. It's everyone else that can't be trusted around Ingo! After all, he's so kind and gentle. Emmet follows him everywhere to 'protect' him and Ingo loves it. He even encourages and enables it.

It was cute when they were little and Emmet would get jealous of his big brother's few friends. Is it cute now that they're adults? Well, Ingo thinks so.
