Moving Forward

Hi everyone,

I just want to thank all of you for your support over the years. As we move onto our next projects, maintaining content for the Tumblr here takes time away from our current projects that our tiny three-person team simply doesn’t have to spare. To that end, we’ll be closing the ask box and shifting our social media support to twitter (@Akash_game) and discord. If you’re active on either of those platforms, we’d love to see you there. If not, thanks for all your kind words, fan art, and fun questions over the years.

I’m not sure if you have already answered this sort of question, but if the guys and Aurora would have a MBTI personality type, what type would they be? 🥺✨✨

Hooo boy I really want to answer this one for you, but it’s not something I’m versed in myself, so I’d have to take this test like 6 times, and I’m so slammed with game script stuff for my current project I just can’t do it. If anyone has any theories I’d love to hear them tho!! I’d love us to get an answer for you.

Do the guys have any weird or quirky habits? 😅

Do any of the guys have a completely useless talent like wiggling their ears or something similar? 😆

I’m going to combine these two asks because they’re sort of similar.

Rocco: Can sink a crumpled piece of paper into a basket from any distance. Rowan enjoys coming up with increasingly complicated trick shots for him. He insists Rocco is cheating and using wind magic, but he enjoys it all the same.

Rowan: Can make his pecs dance. Rocco loves to ask him to do this when they’ve been drinking.

Ignatius: Double-jointed and can bend his fingers and elbow in a weird way that grosses people out. He used to do this a lot as a kid.

Caspian: Weirdly good at imitating animal sounds. Most people don’t know because Caspian rarely loosens up enough to bust ‘em out.

Lux: Can make a clover shape with his tongue, and a few others.

Akash doodles! I started playing @akashgame and I’m almost through Lux’s and Rocco’s route and I do plan on playing through all five. And right now the game is my new hyper fixation which means art! One of my favorite things to imagine with dating games is imagining myself in the MC’s place. And while Aurora is a lovely character I view her separate from myself. I originally meant to fill the page with just pictures of “me” but Rocco has become my favorite so <3

I FINALLY managed to buy Akash a few days ago and I'm amazed at how much I love it! Lux was my favourite from before the game was even out and Rowan took me by COMPLETELY bu surprise. He's so sweet and just adorable 🥺. I don't think I've seen anyone ask this, but how would the boys react if Aurora woke them up in the middle of the night and asked "Do you like me or like-like me??"

I’m so glad you enjoyed it!! ♥️ Tbh most of them would be pretty put out to be woken up in the middle of the night as I think most of us would. Rocco and Lux would probably have the best response, but Caspian would be pretty irritated with such a nonsensical question, and Ignatius would be too tired and angry to give you much of an answer. Rowan would probably more kindly tell you to ask again in the morning, if he can go back to sleep after all that.

I hope this isn't too fresh but does anyone have dimples on their other cheaks 🍑😏Any birthmarks?

Haha, not too fresh, but none of the boys have any birthmarks. I do think Rowan and Ignatius probably have dimples on their lower backs, but this is the kind of highly specific detail you can feel free to fill in yourself. They do have tattoos all over their bodies though, including some in very, VERY sensitive places. 🌝

If the boys saw a shooting star what would each of them wish for?

Caspian: Prosperity and good health for his family.

Rocco: For the one he loves to return his feelings.

Rowan: To see his mother.

Ignatius: Acceptance. 

Lux: The ability to keep his loved ones safe from all harm.

Can we adopt Rocco's brother's kids? Does adoption happen in elemental society?

It does! Elementals are very much of the “it takes a village” sort of mentality when it comes to raising kids but adoption can happen for a variety of reasons. They don’t really have anything like court or paperwork to make it official, it’s just known around the village that this kid is being raised by x elemental for whatever reason. So Zephyr’s kids can definitely be adopted.

Is Rocco embarrassed about anything? At all? Ever???

It’s very rare, but his brand of embarrassment is more towards emotional things than anything to do with his person. If you play his epilogue for example you’ll see some things about his family that embarrass him.

Hi the game question wasn't mine but now I can't stop wondering what Rowan's favorite outdoor game sport is?

Definitely rugby, or the elemental equivalent. He loves that kind of full-body rough and tumble stuff.

What are the guys' spirit animals? Lux reminds me of a golden retriever and I love him for it

I won’t say spirit animal out of respect for indigenous folk, but we did do an ask about this some time ago that we illustrated. You can find it here, but here they are again!

Lux is so cute but damn boy, he's so obv smitten it hurts. How'd he just wait to say anything! I tried to romance him post escape but he just got sad. Won't speak up at all! 💛 poor bby :-( I'll get him next time for sure though!!! Would anyone but Rocco have asked their girl out without that !!$#!! to kick them in the a$$? How'd they ask her out if they could?

One thing first--post-escape you are already on someone else’s route, so you can’t change who you’re romancing then!

I definitely think they would, but everything that happens absolutely accelerated things. In a world where none of the game’s events happen, though... 

Caspian: Caspian doesn’t beat around the bush. He’d simply ask you to be his.

Rowan: Rowan is fairly direct--once he knows how he feels and feels like he has a chance with you, he’d just ask you sweetly with a flower and a smile.

Rocco: Rocco has no problem making his feelings known, but for someone special he’d make an evening of it, entertaining you with his beautiful lute-playing and engaging conversation. Once the mood is right, he’ll ask.

Ignatius: Ignatius would like to go somewhere quiet and private, and would make his way to it after a lot of awkward, nervous conversation. 

Lux: Lux would set up something elaborate, taking you somewhere special to the both of you and walking down memory lane with small, thoughtful, handmade gifts. It’d take him a long time to get up the nerve, but he’d ask eventually.

I've seen you answer how would the boys react to Aurora pursuing them romantically. So I wanted to ask how would the boys try to win over Aurora? How do each of them convey their romantic interest in someone? Who's more blunt and who's more subtle?

Honestly this is really what happens in the routes, you can see from their dates the differences in their approaches and ways they choose to convey their interest. But as far categorizing them from blunt to subtle--

Blunt: Caspian, Rocco

Subtle: Ignatius, Rowan

Won’t admit it until you drag it out of him via catastrophic life event or your own confession: Lux

Who'd be my cosplay luv and help doll me up?

Rocco, Lux, and Ignatius would be your best bets--which I realize is like half the cast, haha. But it’s true. Rocco is very good with makeup, Lux has excellent sewing skills and will patiently help you with any hobby, and Ignatius is good with makeup and sewing both. Caspian doesn’t have the patience and Rowan doesn’t have the delicate touch needed for crafts.
