Absolutely obsessed with Metaphor Refantazio rn. Beat the first dungeon and it all of a sudden drew me in completely. So if you’ve been struggling to find the motivation to play it like I was, know that things REALLY ramp up after that first dungeon. Also Will is the cutest protagonist ever sit down Minato Persona 3 you’ve been dethroned.

Literally 2 days after we finished our rewatch of persona 4 the animation the remake was announced. I love that so much because persona 4 is very much on my brain.

My prediction is we aren’t getting the game until 2028 because the clip they showed looked like VERY early development and was SUPER ugly.

My predictions are always wrong when it comes to Atlus though. So for my second prediction, Atlus is definitely not bringing back the Yosuke romance. In fact he’ll be even more homophobic this time around.

Imma be real if you thought that atlus was going to rehire the original va’s for the p4 remake, you’re not paying attention. I already went through the 5 stages of grief with the p3 remake, I’m not doing this again.

Also, the p4 remake isn’t even officially announced yet. I have no idea what’s going on with the VAs and who allowed them to tweet these things but it’s kind of insane. Stop taking their word at face value though, they know as much about the remake as we do.

For the love of all that is good though if I see any of you fuckers harassing the new VAs they hire I’m gonna strangle you. They’re gonna be stoked to voice these iconic characters, don’t take the wind out of their sails by being a jerk.

Realized I’m literally going to be in Japan during Persona’s 30th anniversary. That’s so hype. My current #1 hope is that with the P5X global release they use it as a springboard to celebrate the anniversary and we get some rep in the game for P1, P2, and P4. I’m more inclined to hope for P1 and P2 rep because P4 rep is all but inevitable at one point or another but the 30th anniversary might be P1 and P2’s only chance at getting modern sprites/models in any capacity and I’d love to see what the P5X team would do with them. Coping so hard but it would not even be that hard to add them to the game. Please Atlus let me have this.

Picked up Persona Dancing bundle not so long ago cause it was on sale on PS5 store and I tried P4D as a way to take a breather from main P4 while still enjoying the characters from the game and all I want to say is we need more Megaten dancing games the game is fun as hell

It’s especially annoying when people say that persona games are piss easy baby games. Nah dude you’ve just got a skewed view of a challenge because you like to torture yourself instead of having a good time. Pokemon is the piss easy baby series.

Anyway now that I’ve pissed off the world’s largest franchise, anyone play metaphor refantazio? It’s a good challenge but super forgiving if you lose a fight. Super fun mix of SMT and persona mechanics imo, but I have yet to sink my teeth into the story and characters. Will’s cute though, he’s a nice protagonist.

Joker - a phantom thief and wildcard user. He’s the leader of the phantom thieves and forced a change of heart for many criminals. He uses a knife, gun and personas to fight. Sidekick is a talking cat with amnesia

Demi Fiend - he was once a human but got turned into a demon after the world ended. He convinces demons to fight along side him. He fights by punching and using magic along side his demon allies. His sidekick is a pixie that joins along at the beginning of the game. (He’s also canonically beaten Dante from devil may cry)

A Japanese SMT fan game recently go a translation I hear.

Yup, it's Shin Megami Tensei VX, a fairly complex recreation/elaboration of the original game in RPG Maker VX, with additional mechanics, routes etc.

Looks neat! It's very nice to see anything from the Japanese RPG Maker space coming to English audiences in 2023.
