[So it looks like I can get to one post a day if I keep my schedule as I’m doing since I started to work again. I’m answering them from strict chronological order, starting for the oldest ones. So I’ll get to everyone. It just will take time since I have like 18 threads right now. I DON’T own all of them, fortunately, but it’s something to take into consideration.]

“A pleasure, Adrien and Raziel. I am Kaiser Leomon, Warrior of Darkness.”

The look on his eyes turned warm as he heard the children speaking.

“I believe you, Child of Gluttony and Tactics. Jacob told me about your story.”

Giving titles to others was an old, practically ancient habit; some of the warriors couldn’t just get rid of it. And Kaiser Leomon wasn’t an exception in that behalf.

“Maybe you inherited some Greymon data from an ancestor, who knows,” his tail waved, though soon raised his gaze towards the adults, checking on them from a distance.

Löweemon decided to don't ask further about that time. The Warrior of Darkness could tell that he touched a sensitive subject, so he decided it was better to leave it like that. That didn't mean he didn't wonder about who was the one they were looking for at all. But, if Lucemon didn't give details, it was better to wait. Perhaps, in the future, they would want to speak about that.

"Probably a lot of Digimon would be willing to get that information as well. I mean, it looks like Lilithmon was one of the few mons actually to get to see the inside of the city. That's impressive."

Löweemon pondered about an option for a moment, before smiling.

"Not so impressive, but I found time ago an abandoned temple raised for AncientSphynxmon. It's quiet and relaxing. And not so secretive as the Citadel. If you want, I can show you around one day."

“Oh?” Löweemon actually leaned closer, curiosity on his brown eyes.

“So it exists. I think I saw it, travelling through the shadows of the forest.” Something quite dangerous, but we were talking about the Warrior of Darkness himself. “Though I never got to approach. I didn’t want the vampire Digimon around to discover my presence, though I was curious.”

Löweemon was a humble Digimon on his own. Sure, he has the pride of being the origin of Darkness and those Digimon who dwell on it. But he hardly used his authority at least it were necessary. Usually, the Warrior preferred to be discreet even in his puns and playful jokes. A lot of his ‘descendants’ served Lucemon, after all.

“So, Lilithmon was there. Did she tell you anything about how it was? Something you can share?”

Like any good cat, Löweemon was curious.

Lucemon nodded. “It very much does exist. And you were not seeing things. The Citadel likes to appear as a hallucination to any passers by so that they will not be prompted to investigate. So it often seems to… wander in and out of view.”

Lucemon leaned settled in their chair, combing their fingers into their hair. “It is… a long story. She approached them during our conquest in attempt to recruit them. But they were adamant about wanting nothing to do with any outside conflicts. She was allowed to stay, but she was under close observation, from what she told me. And then when she thought she discovered traces of someone we once knew, she was practically thrown out and the gates were slammed closed behind her. This was before we were able to simply step into an area and claim it as our own. We tried storming the outer walls, but nothing worked. By the time we had the power to reenter… what we were looking for was long gone.”

There was a distant bitterness in the angel’s eyes as they spoke. Their expression had fallen, but they quickly shook it off and continued. “They are highly secretive. I still don’t think we have complete knowledge of how the area works. But we know slightly more than most, clearly.”
