Spoke to a gen z person the other night and apparently the young folks don't know about the very legal sites from which you can access public domain media (including Dracula, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and other Victorian gothic horror stories)?
Like this young person didn't even know about goddamn Gutenberg which is a SHAME. I linked to it and they went "aw yiss time to do a theft" and I was like "I mean yo ho ho and all that, sure, but. you know gutenberg is entirely legal, right?"

Somewhere in the island that is now a nuclear wasteland there's either a cave or a hole at bedrock level where the body of q!Jaiden is
Do you think the others checked in on her as they went about their day fulfilling tasks?
Do you think they slept next to her in a pile to endure the cold night?
Do you think there is a thought at the back of the rest of bolas that since Baghera and Cellbit are back, Jaiden should be alive too?
That maybe they think she's completely alone, wandering the wasteland wondering where her friends are?
Do you think that Roier is holding on to the hope that, one day, his friend will come back?
Do you think he waits for her so he can tell her about Pepito or the other eggs? About Tepito where all the Mexicans live?
Do you think there's a thought at the back of his mind that he tries to drown out? Because Jaiden might not be great at fighting but she's resilient and she's good at adapting, so surely she's fine right? She'll be coming back, right?
Do you think she dreamt of her friends and her and the eggs going back to the island?
Do you think she thought about parents and children being reunited when it was all over while she would be going back to an empty house full of memories stuck in the past?
Do you think she woke up, saw the nuke coming and the fact that there was a boat waiting for them and decided to go back to sleep?
