i cant figure out how to pose them but whatever lol

I've had my BAT holomodel cards for a while, and decided to finally try to set them up.... and I can't figure out it. The QR doesn't register, I can't find any place in the app to input the code, and I don't see a place for it on the website either. The support and FAQ's have no resources at all on how to redeem a figure.

I'm trying so hard to not have a melt down over this, but this is so frustrating and discouraging.

lol i'm still alive but not really arting right now because my life is a little bit of a shit show. I'm moving out of my apartment in a couple of months, and at the same time while I was staying with my mom something started to happen with my left arm and hand. My left hand has more or less been asleep non-stop since the 4th, so, uh, delightful!

Backs for the CD cases of the Before the 2nd DRB CDs!! As per usual, learned a lot! I started with BB, and did BAT last. I started off trying to clean up the text and such manually, but ended up using a Font Identifier and did that LOL. Almost all of the fancy text was cleaned up and traced over manually to clean it up, except for Matenro's which was a pain in the ass so I went and hunted down what font that was. I could only find a demo version of it for free so I had to use shrink and cut to get the outline, and then skew it manually to make it italic, getting it pretty close to the original text! I think edited out the "DIVISION" on the black label with one that matched the "First, Second, Third" for consistency.

I didn't add the Barcode to BAT's as by that point I've decided I want to change where the barcode is located. I want to make it sidewise like the original case and make it wrap around the spine. I'll probably do that last. The last thing I'm doing for every CD is adding the text for the spine. After everything is finished I'll run some tests to make sure I got all the measurements right, and then add the text once I'm sure I'm satisfied.

When I swung by my apartment yesterday to drop off some stuff on the way to my Dentist appointment, I found an art booklet that came with one of my LE manga that has special art for Wrap&Wrap and OUATIS so I might redo those! AGAIN!!

For now I just need to make the back covers for the 2nd DRBs, which will be LOT easier since they are pretty simple compared to these CDs!

For the inside covers of the DRB battle CDs, I took screenshots of the leaders from the Glory or Dust MV and then edited the so they would fit together. I had to cut Kuko and Ramuda out, move them over to be closer to the other, and then smudge in the gaps behind them. The smudge tool is so fun to use!! :D

I just realized that the same techniques used to create the above logo could be used to recolor the logos.....

I didn't feel like waiting around for this asset to be uploaded so I frankensteined my own together!

At the very least, I'm learning a lot of cool stuff!

I've got most of the LE cds done. I just realized looking through some though that I messed up the tray liners, I made the logos too small. I'll have to redo those. I learned how to use the blur tool today, which has made cleaning up images easier!!

The only thing bugging me rn is that the HypMic wiki doesn't have Sasara's MC name logo from HypDori on file. Everyone else's is there except for his!! Which isn't too terrible, but it does mean two can't be completed (tray liners for Double Trouble and Rep Battle)

ALSO I literally didn't realize that the song title for the Sasara-Kuko duet was REP battle and not RAP battle. There was a pun right in front of me this whole time and I never knew it! Gah!

Over all, for the LE CDs all that is left is to finish up RIP, NuruSara, Noctiluca, BB's City, and Respect Each Brother.

"I don't need to make covers for the manga cd's" I said. But honestly why not!! I'm gonna look for some art from the manga and leave it black and white for the back of the cover. Half of these come from ARB, you can find them on the wiki, from there I edited Wrap&Rap and Naniwa Paradise to change them to English, and I changed the shade of purple on R.I.P. cuz its a different shade of purple from the other BAT cds.

After that it was a simple matter to alter the existing covers to show the titles of the second duets for each pair. And for the rest, I basically just traced each part of the cover, making it its own layer, and then its just going through each layer and using bucket fill with the desired color to create new covers from scratch!!!

Now I just need to finish making tray liners, making more PNGs, and putting text on the back cover to show on the edges to finish those off.

Work that was completed yesterday! And true to my word I figured out I was making some mistakes!!

So while any picture that will be going on the front is a perfect square, he back of the CD case is NOT a perfect square. I'm gonna have to readjust some images, if not outright recropping and cleaning them up again!!

The plan rn is to just make tray images for all the LE songs, and leave the front empty to show off the designs of the discs, since they were designed to be stored in transparent sleeves that show off the designs. I'll be making covers for the 2nd DRB battle CDs however.

As I'm staying at my family's house this week to care for my mother who just got a surgery, I'm not really working on art. I brought my sketchbook and pencils and copics with me but.... I can't really spread out the way I need to. So instead I'm just gonna focus on a hypmic adjacent project: I want to take all the CDs I have that don't come in standard CD cases and put them in standard cases, including adapting the original art and graphic design choices as much as possible.

Like for example with the Battle CDs I want to mimic the look of the first round battle CDs. I made a basic template in paint, which I can then upload into gimp, and use color picks from the front covers to fill in for the team shades. I plan to also put everything onto word documents so I can double sided print them.

For other CDs such as the manga LE ones. I hunted down images from the manga that I can turn into PNGs. and then I just need to decide on how I want to color them.... I'm thinking of using a gradient on the back using the character colors, and maybe the team color for the inside since the CDs themselves are already colored to match those characters. I also made some spirals too, not sure which I like more, so I'm gonna focus on making PNGs for now.

But this is what I've managed to get done so far! I'm not starting with my favorites since I want them to look the best: aka practice on the ones I don't care about as much LOL

Been kinda busy the past couple of days, and I'm about to fall asleep but since I hadn't been doing much drawing I at least wanted to make SOME progress on this drawing. So I took a photo of my umbrella, turned it into a PNG, and then dropped it on top of my ref pic and turned down the opacity 25%. Probably gonna drop some grid lines on top too to help me starting the final product but for now I'm gonna zzzzz

Why is Jyushi such a fucking nightmare to draw??? Like his face should not be this hard.

It doesn't help that I wanted to draw him as the Halloween Vil card only to realize they bullshitted the anatomy SO HARD. Like look REAL CLOSE his body makes no sense. I feel like they drew the outfit the way they did to hide how Vil's arms should be dislocated from their shoulder sockets.

I might come back to this later, but, uh, sorry Jyushi!!!
