Why do you love your god?

How could i not love a Lord who said if i walk to Him, He would run to me. Who showers me with affection while He is Self-Sufficient, rich beyond need, and i stand in need of Him. Whose doors are always wide open, He holds out His Hand to accept the repentance of the one who sinned by day, and He holds out His Hand during the day to accept the repentance of the one who sinned at night.

Why would my heart not overflow with love for Him?

A note to all women

How do you even begin to describe the significance of the day of ‘Arafah when it was the day that Allah perfected this religion, the day that Adam عليه السلام and Hawaa عليها السلام met after they were removed from Paradise, the place where the Prophet ‎‪ﷺ‬ gave his last sermon, the day that Allah frees countless of His slaves from the Hell fire, and the day He forgives our sins and accepts our du’as by the setting of the sun?

We may not be at Hajj, standing on the plains of ‘Arafah, begging Allah for acceptance and forgiveness, but we can still participate in this day by fasting and taking every opportunity to make du’a.

May the tears that flow from our eyes on this day out of fear of Him be a means for us being granted shade under His ‘Arsh.

May our love and devotion on this blessed day bear its fruits on yawmul qiyaamah, Allahumma ameen.
