Ok, I just watched the trailer and it was really beautiful, congratulations <3 But should I be worried about the fact that you said that in the video is the end of the fic and it comes out to Yuuri being pierced by an arrow and also a tomb a few seconds later? I love the angust and the scenes where the secondary characters are worried about the possible death of a main character, in this case Yuuri. (1/2)

No!! I would never do that!! I'll actually never write a fic with that sort of death without including it in the warnings, I'm not a sadist.

Lots of shots in the trailer were pretty symbolic. Yuuri being shot with an arrow (a red arrow) symbolized how he was captured and his freedom was taken by the merchant. But also, some of his freedom was also taken by Mari, who uses red arrows. I found that shot really showed that nicely. (Mari absolutely adored Yuuri, but she never realized how much she was hurting him)

But sometimes my attempts at subtlety come out as pure nonsense, I don't blame anyone who doesn't get much from the trailer XD

The tomb is someone else!!! There's room to guess!! Play close attention to the order of things, and how some other shots were shown!! That's all I have to say

It would be a much better situation considering how beloved Yuuri is in the palace, but one scare is enough, you don't need to kill him, have mercy :'( Yuuri and Viktor deserve a happy ending alive and with lots of puppies and no deaths to regret, have mercy author 😭😭😭

I told you guys before, we'll definitely have a happy ending, not COMPLETELY happy on all sides, but it will be bitter sweet at LEAST

Please, I beg you to make a special chapter with other people's POVs. Whether it's a single chapter with several POVs and specific scenes or separate chapters, but do it pleasee. POV of the servants, Sara, Michele, Ketty, Emil, Yuuko, Takeshi, Mari, Yurio, Mila or anyone you deem important. Not only do I ask for it as an ultra crazy fan of the unconscious Yuuri, but I also feel it would help give an outside understanding of the situation and give more breadth to your context <3. (2/2)

AAAAAA! You're really giving me ideas now >.< I remember reading a chapter in Under The Oaktree (a Korean romance webtoon) which was entirely from a servant's POV, just to show us readers how much of a simp the main love interest was.

OMG I really, REALLY need a special chapter on the viewpoints of characters outside of Viktor or Yuuri. Yuuri's point of view is so awesome but so stressful when it comes to his reputation or something good about himself!!! The empire and the palace seems to be upside down just because of him and I can't tell the magnitude of the situation because Yuuri's point of view doesn't take it into account at all :') Why Yuuri WHY? Ah, Yuuri at this point just wants to live stress-free, which I think is valid. But now he has Stressball Vicchan TM so perhaps he'll pay more attention, hmm? Since it will definitely help him gain more power if he utilizes it right ;)

His Was Gold now has a trailer!

Ah, I put more time and effort into this than I care to admit, but I can say I'm satisfied with how it turned out. Of course, it's not perfect. The clothes, hairstyles, and even some races and skin tones don't match, but I tried everything I could to bring my vision to life.

Live-action trailers for fics are so hard to make, mix that with the fact it's a historical AU, and you get something impossible. One day, I just woke up and decided "FINE! I'LL DO IT MYSELF!"

The actor I chose for Victor (Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ) straight up stole my breath away and inspired me to make this in the first place. The EYES on him! There are many, and I mean MANY easter eggs in this trailer, both regarding the current story and hints toward the ending. I'll give 30+ respect points to those who catch all of them!

Yuuri Was truly the epitome of gaslight gatekeep girlboss this chapter which I was SO EXCITED ABOUT. I wanted that man to wreck shit up™️ and he did. Man gaslighted himself for only part of the chapter, gatekeeped Victor away from Chris Cross Apple Sauce. And girl bosses his way into getting railed 😌

Parallel wise Victor was Truly the epitome of male wife, man-splain, and man-ipulte. But seriously tho 10/10 chapter I love how Victor was simultaneously scared and horny the entire time me to bro me too

It was so fun to write him gaslighting gatekeeping and girlbossing as well! Yuuri was so wild this chapter that I would stare at a scene that I WROTE and think "oh man, he SNAPPED" xD

Yes, I love male-wife Victor, the higher the simpage, the better. I don't want him any other way

Out of all ongoing YOI fic that I love ,yours is the only that I haven't given up on. I love how you constantly give us reassurance that you will never *ever* drop this wonderful fic. is victor particularly close/friends with a previous concubine before yuuri? like did he chat with a few of them after sexy times/aftercare? basically is yuuri the only one he got (emotionally) intimate with or were there previous lovers/concubines who snatched his heart?

Victor was a perfect gentleman! He'd show them a great time, be respectful, try to never cause them any physical pain, and give them gifts for taking one for the team.

Victor, as an owner, is very easy to fall in love with.

No previous concubines who snatched his heart, though. The amount of simpage is high but solely Yuuri-oriented
