Volunteering Opportnities
Since our League is a non-profit organization, we heavily depend on our volunteers. The League is a volunteer run organization.
There are three types of volunteering opportunities:
1) Coaching positions.
2) League staff positions.
3) Race weekend volunteer positions.
All the volunteers get a satisfying reward in knowing that they have impacted the racers in all aspects of their life.
We need you, if you are interested visit http://www.alabamamtb.org/#!volunteering-opportunities/zsrok for more information about the volunteer positions.

The T-Town Throw Down Recap
The second race of the season was a great success. The League Director Eddie Freyer said we had about 100 more racers than we did last year.
“This year the race definitely was smoother. We had more experienced people on staff and they know exactly what they need to get done,” Freyer said.
Freyer said the volunteers are more experienced than last year because now they know what to expect and have already done the same race once before.
“The volunteers tend to come back and do the same positions week to week, not only do they have last year’s experience but now they've got one race this year under their belt. Things are a lot easier this year,” Freyer said.
The third race of the season is on April 3 at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville.
