In Memoriam

On this day, June 4th, 2015, my headset died after three rigorous years of service.  June 2012 I was in the market for a new headset, and a friend recommended me the Steelseries Siberia V2™.  The sound quality was great, and it was the most comfortable headset I’ve ever placed on my head.  Most headsets are comfortable at first, but after 3 hours or so start to dig into your ears.  This bad boy still felt like a pillow after 8 hours.  He had a 10 foot cable and was always on my headset stand waiting for me after work.  For 3 years we were inseparable.  He helped me through a year of progression raiding, 3 years of Diablo, and 2 years off and on of Counter Strike.  Now that he’s gone, it feels as though a part of me has died.  I won’t be able to sit down and play some Counter Strike: Global Offensive™ for at least 3 days.  Rest in peace, sweet prince.  You’re gonna carry that weight.
