Connie was dealt a bad hand by fate. She's a young puppy, and has a long life and a decent prognosis ahead of her. She's getting surgery no matter what, but her caretakers will need help paying back the bank loan.

I can personally vouch that this is a legit fundraiser for real people with a real puppy who is actually in need of the surgery.
