Alberta Weekend Market, Quest Edition!

On Sunday, June 7, the 4th edition of the legendary Alberta Weekend Market will take place from 13:00 – 15:00 CEST. And this time, we’ll combine selling & buying with a quest and some nice rewards. The deadline to participate is Sunday, June 7, 13:00 CEST when the market officially starts. And here we go…

For a chance to win, you have to take screenshots to prove you have completed the tasks. Upload your screenshots* and send the URL of where you uploaded them (ONE URL!) to the character Nakii via the ingame RodEx mail system. You can use different characters to complete the tasks.

The following task must be completed for a chance to win (1 ticket):

Set up a buy/sell shop in Alberta on Sunday, June 7, from 13:00 – 15:00 CEST. You can set up the shop earlier than 13:00 CEST, but it must be online during the entire market.**

In your buy/sell shop, include an item for 1,337,000 Zeny. Make sure it is an item no one would buy/sell for that amount of Zeny!

Include the title of your shop in the RodEx mail to Nakii. Make it a funny one (:

You have to complete 3 different tasks out of the following 10 tasks for a chance to win (each task = 1 ticket). If you complete more than three tasks (or if you complete a task several times), your chance to win will increase.

Donate 50,000 zeny at the Rachel Sanctuary (1 donation = 1 ticket)

Level up a Novice to level 20 at the Novice Training Ground (hint: complete the quests there)

Bring your Novice to the coordinates “100, 100” of one of the following maps without help:*** abyss_03, ama_dun03, c_tower4, gefenia04, gl_dun02, gon_dun03, ice_dun03, in_sphinx5

Fail an item at the upgrade NPC (1 ticket) – 1 bonus ticket if you fail an item from +0 to +1

Make one or more of the headgears from this list and take a screenshot at the NPC (1 ticket per headgear) – 1 bonus ticket for each headgear you RodEx to Nakii to give away at the weekend market

Complete a job change quest from first to second class (1 ticket)

Make a 90+ level up on a Poring type monster (1 ticket) – 1 bonus ticket if it is a level up to 99

Dress up your character and take a screenshot at your favorite spot out of town (1 ticket) – 1 bonus ticket if you find 11 friends to do that together with you

Kill a Poring type mini boss (Angeling, Arc Angeling, Deviling, Ghostring, Mastering) (1 ticket – can only be submitted once)

Find a spot in Ragnarok Online where you are definitely not supposed to be standing – see example below from a tower in Morroc (1 ticket – can only be submitted once)

All screenshots will be uploaded to the Alberta Weekend Market tumblr.

How the winners will be determined:

1 completed task is 1 ticket, so 4 completed tasks will get you 4 tickets. You can increase your chance to win by completing more than 4 tasks. Each ticket is represented by a number between 1 and 99,999 in a spreadsheet. The winners will be selected by this Random Number Generator / Picker.

The RodEx mails will be opened during the live stream from the next Alberta Weekend Market on Sunday, June 7, starting at 13:00 CEST. The winners will be determined in the live stream as well. Make sure you watch the stream on Twitch and have your character in Alberta (the one you sent the RodEx mail with) to redeem your rewards (the items will be given away during the stream, but I will RodEx you if you are not online).

What you can win:

The first prize is one trashy headgear and one hour Bio3 leech with an SD sinx (around 60m EXP with full EXP equipment) for level 90+ rebirth (transcenced) characters and level 95+ non-rebirth characters, or two hours leech / OOP mobbing elsewhere (Ice Dungeon, Glast Heim, Anolians, Geographers…), which will be broadcast live on stream. Must be redeemed until June 14, 2020, 23:59 CEST.

The second prize is 683,500 Zeny + Guyak Pudding 10ea – the donations I received at the last Alberta Weekend Market. (Donations for the next Alberta Weekend Market are much appreciated)

Winners 3 to 10 will each receive an assortment of random items. I don’t quite know what that will be yet, but there will for sure be some trashy headgears/costumes/cards involved that no one really ever wants.

* You can make a collage out of your screenshots, upload them to a social network or share the URL to the folder with the screenshots on your Dropbox… Anything is fine, as long as you have ONE URL for all the pictures. All screenshots must be taken between June 2, 2020, 19:00 CEST and June 7, 2020, 13:00 CEST. Screenshots must be full size, but the interface can be painted over.

** If your shop disconnects, take a screenshot of the disconnect and RodEx that to Nakii. Make sure you use the same character for the mail with the disconnect screenshot you used for the mail with the other screenshots.

*** If “100, 100” is blocked, find a spot close to “100, 100”
