At the June 11, 2025 matinee, Daniel May performed in place of Dez Duron with barely two hours advance notice! It was the first time Daniel had ever sung on stage. He did just fine.

The stage managers even changed the record album covers, so Daniel's image was on them instead of Dez!

I loved Maybe Happy Ending. It challenged me, hurt my heart at times, and is just an outstanding show. Darren so deserved his Tony! Helen should have been nominated. Gorgeous acting, lovely songs, incredible sets, and set design. Kudos to the Tony Award voters for recognizing all this excellence. My heart is full.
