Can we talk about the comedy gold that is the second drunk!lwj scene in cql because wwx walks away from him for one second and he is peering inside someone's house with the intention to commit theivery. Then he asks wwx to follow him with like 🫴 and then he barges into the house even as wwx tries to stop him. Then he half-sways, half-walks to the chicken pen and suddenly develops incredible coordination to open it and grab the chickens which he proceeds to shove at wwx and ask if they are fat because he is gifting them to wwx (giftee meanwhile has no idea what is happening). Then he decides he just HAS to carve his name on the wooden post with his sword and only leaves the house when wwx drags him out of there while practically baby-talking him. Then wwx tells him to wait for a moment and lwj does. Just stands there, drunk out of his mind and waits for wei ying to come back and drag him to places again. And he does ALL of this with a look on his face so dazed, he looks stoned.

Then when they get back to the inn and they see the lights on he is like nope. I didn't leave them on. Then he just LOOKS at wwx, clearly looking to follow his lead. And when they find an intruder in the room who is about to attack them, lwj miraculously regains all his motor skills and fights the guy with not one single drunken mistake but somehow can't fathom it when the guy disappears and has to be physically stopped by wwx from fighting the air or something. Then he sits there and almost pours water over his head that he ASKED for because he was thirsty.

Sorry I am rambling, I just find every single second of his drunken shenanigans hilarious and worthy of ten minute analyses.

Younger Inej being the spotlight, the center of attention, showered in light and praise at every show the Ghafas performed at, with her tricks that made people hold their breath in fear and jump in glee because she was simply so incredible in the air.

Soc Inej being the Wraith, someone who fought and spied among the rich cloaked in the shadows. Someone who was a rumor, a spider, a ghostly being who could literally be in your walls, at your bed table and you wouldn't even notice before its too late.

Ck Inej leading a ship and crew to march towards the sea and capture slavers to help other young girls like her. Inej looking in the slavers eyes before taking them down. Inej fighting the slavers without the concealment of the shadows. Inej at peace with her younger self at last.

The funniest thing about Kaz Brekker is that every time he found out a piece of information that the other Crows hated about themselves or maybe just didn't like about themselves all that much, he totally just repurposed it to his advantage AND made them feel better about it somehow?

Wylan: Yeah you can't use me as blackmail my dad would rather I die because I can't read

Kaz: Okay, and? You can still make a grenade. Also, what are your thoughts on identity fraud

Jesper: I'm a Grisha and I've been hiding it my whole life in shame and consolation to my mother's death

Kaz: Right, have you ever seen those old westerns where they whip out their guns really fast in a draw? That's your new job.

Inej: I can climb really well and sneak up on almost anyone, besides you for some reason, but you don't know that yet, because I haven't said a word to you

Idk I also haven't read the books in a hot second so that's probably not how any of these interactions went but it's true in my heart guys

Oh i always loved the way they walked. Moments before the scene in the last gif, wwx also sways a little to avoid a plant and push it out of his way. He is so active and lwj is so steady beside him and ughhhh i love them together.

The number of times I went "where have I seen this actor before" and it turned out to be Supernatural... 😭 You would think I would start expecting to have seen an actor in Supernatural on sheet instinct now but alas

so embarrassing when i insist an actor looks familiar and need to place them or i’ll die and it turns out they were victim #3 in a supernatural episode that’s been imbedded in the ridges on my brain since middle school
